Cherrybank Inn

Family 18th meal. 19 booked, 18 turned up yet they have the audacity to keep the £10 for a no show due to travel issues with weather (snow) Travelled from Dundee and I certainly won't be back. Food average, service OK but to spend the amount we did in total it's an experience to be stuffed for £10 deposit.. Needless to say I will not be back. Not the cherry on the cake!

Family celebration for sons birthday. Had a lovely meal in what were beautiful surroundings. Biscoff cheesecake and peanut butter ice cream were out of this world. Would definitely recommend for a lovely family meal

We arrived on a cold night and was given a table outside .Not much help to rectify the situation We were a party of 6, The food was extremely slow to arrive and when it did it wasn’t great . How can a chef serve under cooked chips? Steak ordered medium-well, arrived raw with blood oozing all over the plate. Steak was taken back and new steak ordered by the time it returned to the table the rest of the party had finished their meal. Rubbish food, rubbish cocktails, rude manager, poor service. No apology and not prepared to provide a discount based on the poorly cooked food. Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t return. There are better places to spend your money. Avoid here is my recommendation

Very poor service and slow coming with food. We were not informed of what was included in the menu for example children got desert with their children`s meal. Three children all chose fish and chip but could not eat because they said fish didn`t taste right. The staff did not question when they took plates away. My husband ordered the fajitas special which also came with free drink, which again we were not informed about. The burger was very chewy and over cooked. It was a very disappointing meal and the total cost was £88! I would definitely not recommend this place.

Extensive menu and probably something to suit everyone, however, the steak pie was really nice but the vegetables were under cooked and very hard. Macaroni was excellent as was the Hunters Chicken, thought it strange to have the Haggis as balls rather than with the Chicken. Waiting staff could have been more welcoming and attentive and the sudden presentation of our bill was surprising as we were not ready to leave, nor finished our drinks. Missed opportunity i feel....

They were really busy but managed to get us a table for six for an early dinner. Food absolutely loved by all. Everything just great. Ambient surroundings, lovely prompt and professional service and delicious food. Top marks all round

Arrived to be shown to an outside seat - it was damp and cloudy & not warm enough to eat outside so I asked if we could put the patio heater on ( they have loads) - the waitress checked and said no ….. but for offer us a table inside . We moved but quickly found we were outside the toilet and had to move our chairs constantly for people to get past . We then had to eat our dinner listening to the hand dryer just behind the door . All the doors were still open so it was cold even inside . The waitress arrived with my son (3) apple juice and when I looked there were lumps of mound floating in it . She took it back but no apology for serving something so disgusting to a young child . The food came and it was OK - that’s the best I could say . Bland with no real flavor / potatoes with no butter or salt etc . We used the toilets and they were FILTHY. Definitely won’t be back

Went to the cherrybank inn this evening, ordered a BBQ Bacon burger, to my horror after taking a couple of bites I realised that the burger was still raw!! The waitress was very apologetic and gave a fresh burger which was over cooked and tasted burnt. I was charged in full for the very unsatisfactory meal and although the kind waitress checked if the meal could be taken off the bill, I was only offered 20% discount from the manager who didn’t even apology. I will definitely not be returning

I was there for a match day special, the service was excellent the food was top class and very well presented, very busy but friendly atmosphere. would highly recommend. well done to Scott and all his staff.
