Had a wonderful experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to the team & Careline for the excellent service. Highly recommended!

There are two DoubleTree hotels nearby, one in Northbridge and this one in Barrack Square, so make sure you don't go to the wrong one. This hotel's entrance faces Perth's landmark Bell Tower, and it's right next to the ferry terminal. The views are fantastic and the location is very convenient.

The hotel is brand new and its location is fantastic, right by Swan Lake. The Italian restaurant next door is delicious. While the room isn't huge, its newness and cleanliness really stand out. It's definitely a great option for a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is in a good location by the Swan River and close to the free CAT bus stop. We stayed for 8 nights, but bathroom amenities such as a shower cap, razor, bar soap, cotton pads, and slippers were not provided daily. We had to call and request them each time. Another issue is that the hotel does not provide parking, and the discount offered is very limited—paying directly elsewhere was cheaper.

Enjoyed chatting and taking in the views from the rooftop bar – it was so relaxing! 👍 The walnut shortbread given to us at check-in was absolutely delicious! 😍 The hotel's location is excellent, offering beautiful panoramic views from above! 👍

Very convenient location, Jetty to Rottnest island just downstairs; easy walk to cbd and Elizabeth quay. Good breakfast selection, great views at Reels and rooftop bar (esp sunset), and nice water view from the room. Swimming pool and fitness room early accessible. Very comfortable stay and great value!

Great location, and the welcome card and gift upon check-in were a very thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a super quiet air conditioner. The breakfast was plentiful, and I especially loved the freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. I'll definitely stay here again.

It was a very impulsive decision to stay in Perth and book a hotel room. We were in the Elizabeth Quay area and wanted to stay in a nice hotel. I'm Glad I decided to stay at the double tree. We were looked after exceptionally well by Leon at the reception. The room was very nice and the view was amazing. For the price, it will definitely be my "go to" when staying in the city

The hotel is quite new, and we were upgraded to a spacious river view room with a balcony. The location right next to Elizabeth Quay is super convenient. There's a free Blue Cat bus stop just a few steps away, which takes you directly to shopping areas or Kings Park – very friendly for tourists like us who don't drive. The food at the hotel's second-floor restaurant was delicious, though service was a bit slow. Also, the caps on the complimentary mineral water bottles were very hard to open, something they should definitely improve.

The rooms were big, and nicely appointed. The view of the river from the room and the bar on Level 18th is fantastic. Service by the staff is also very good. Location is very central, close to the shops and you can take nice long walks by the river front. My 2nd time at this hotel and will definitely be back.

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront for 2 nights. Our arrival was quite late, but the night shift staff who assisted with our check-in was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The entire check-in process went smoothly, creating a great first impression. Unfortunately, our experience took a disappointing turn on the day of check-out. Due to a severe storm in Perth, the hotel’s front entrance was flooded, creating uncertainty for guests leaving the property. As Hilton Honors members, we approached the reception desk to inquire whether the hotel had any protocol in place for such situations and whether we would still be able to load our luggage after checking out at noon. To our surprise, the morning reception staff simply replied, “Don’t know.” There was no attempt to seek assistance, provide further information, or offer reassurance during what was clearly an unusual situation. While we understand that extreme weather events are beyond the hotel’s control, the response from the front desk was disappointing and fell well below the level of service we would expect from a Hilton property, especially towards loyal Honors members. A little professionalism, empathy, and willingness to assist would have made a significant difference. The hotel itself is well-located and comfortable, but the lack of customer service during a challenging situation left a lasting negative impression.
