Ulasan Sofia Balkan Palace

This hotel is located in a prime spot, right next to most popular travel destinations. The breakfast is delicious, served with sparkling wine. The building itself is a beautiful palace, and the room has been recently renovated.

It was nice with a Christmas and new year celebration spirits. The only problem in the room was the lack of some of the amenities. There was no iron in the room and there was no clear mirror. Breakfast was ok but I’ve seen better breakfasts in other hotels.

Superb location. In the city centre. Historical palace. Modern interior designs of the rooms. Soft & fresh bed sheets/towels. Big rooms. Spotless clean. Great amenities with gym. Delicious with big variations of breakfast. Helpful and great staff. Fast check in & out. Walking distance to all landmarks of the capital. Public transportation is only 1-2 min walk. The only thing that miss were the absence of extra tooth paste and tooth brush. The rest were ok. Highly recommend. Definitely comeback here soon.

Good hotel and location is very nice.

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the location in the heart of Sofia was perfect. It was a wonderful stay.

PLUMBING ISSUES & SLOW SERVICE. The building looks lovely, newly renovated and in a great location. It is walking distance to most attractions. The staff were friendly, however I did have to ask multiple times for things before they were done (e.g., asking for an iron to be sent to the room, filling up empty toiletries). The toilet water turned brown 30 minutes after flushing which indicates a plumbing issue and is unsanitary. The rest of the room was clean. And they granted our request of having our 2 rooms next to each other. Overall a 3.5-4 star hotel due to the toilet and slow service.

Great location. We booked a luxury suite, but the actual room was quite ordinary.

Very good location, huge room, and good breakfast. The only negative thing is the hotel is in critical need of more service personnel for cleaning up the rooms (according to Front Desk) and check-in had to be delayed till 15:00, not a minute earlier.

It was a really nice hotel for what we needed. Very modern and clean.

The hotel is located in the heart of the town. It took us some time to find the entrance to the hotel because of reconstruction process that is going on near the hotel. Parking area being very small was fully occupied, therefore we had to search for public parking area. The room was a little bit dark and one mirror element (part of wall decoration) was broken. Cleanness in the room and in the hallway leave much to be desired. Breakfast was very good: well organised, good service with good variety of food.

Just be sure you get renovated room, becouse old rooms is really old what i see on first floor where is gym.

Located cenyte of Sofia, and access easily to everywhere..
