5 km southwest of Mikkeli, on the shore of Lake Orijärvi (10 m), hard clay-based gradually deepening beach. Dock and own rowing boat. Small sauna cottage 2008 (renovated in 2017), living room / kitchen with sofa bed (sofa is 140 cm wide, no other beds), dressing room and sauna. Covered porch with gas grill. Large terrace with hot tub (heated with fuel) for rent. Small separate sleeping cottage in the yard (10 m2). In the cottage there is a double bed (140 cm wide) and toilet. There is no toilet in the cottage itself. The sauna cottage has an air source heat pump that can be used for cooling Electric stove with 2 cooking plates and oven, there are also a microwave and gas grill. A small sauna cabin on a small lake Orijärvi. The hot tub on the terrace can be rented for 150 euro: ready made (filled and warmed up). Please inform if You want to rent it at least one day before the start of the reservation. The tub rent must be paid on site to the owner in cash. Please have even money. Pets allowed at etra cost, payment per pet. The owner's house is 20 m away on the slope above and road no 5 goes about 100 m away (no visual contact, but car sounds can be heard). 15 km south-east of Mikkeli, Lake Saarijärvi 10 m (length 3,5 km and width 1,5 km), hard, really gently deepening sand beach is well suited also for small children, 30-40 m to the swimming depth for adults, own rowing boat with electric outboard motor. Log cabin is built in 2018, kitchen-living room with convertible sofa (width 120 cm), 3 mattresses on the loft, steep stairs to the loft. Entrance to the washing facilities through the terrace; toilet, shower and wood-heated sauna. Yard building, where wood shed and dry toilet are situated. A sleeping hut with two rooms of 9 square meters each, built in 2020. In both rooms there are alternative 2 beds. Maximum number is 4 persons. The sleeping hut has heating but is not used in winter time (can be used from first of May till the end of September yearly). Vilpola is a lovely small cottage with excellent location. Peaceful holiday home for a small family or group. The loft is low and stairs to the loft are steep, so entrance to the loft can be quite challenging. Summer Cafe Raijan Aitta 0,5 km (open for example on 2018: 15.6. - 31.8. at 10-18, in June home cooking lunch at 12-13.30). 45 km south-east of Mikkeli, L.Kukonjärvi 100 m (length 2 km, width 200 m), deep, soft mud bottom, own boat. Wooden hunting lodge 1987, renovated 2007, downstairs living room/ kitchen (70 m²!), kitchen, room with fireplace, washroom (3 showers), spacious dressing room and sauna section (electric stove). Upstairs bedroom 2 beds, bedroom 2+1 beds, upstairs hall 3 beds, other hall 4 beds. Terrace and 2 porches. Main building has 3 WCs. Lakeshore sauna (20 m²) with washroom. Sauna has electric light, wood-fired stove, cold water pipe and hot water cauldron. Hunting lodge, ideal for several families at same time, or for companies for conference use, or for hunters, or even for holding parties, etc. On south side plot is level, with steep path to shore, steps on the way. Swimming beach for experienced swimmers only. Road to two neighbouring cottages passes through yard; these cottages not visible, however. By arrangement programme packages, e.g. hunting (licences required) and fishing trips, fishing guides, catering services, boat trips and cruises, wilderness trips. Tornimäki downhill ski centre 50 km, Ristiina 25 km. Note! Key deposit of 160 euros on arrival is obligatory! However if final cleaning is booked and paid in advance then key deposit is not needed. Owner does not rent out bed linen.
