I’ll start by saying we are seasoned travellers, many years of travel in all quality of accommodation, and happy for the basics but this was an awful experience for the price we paid. First of all, this place says it’s a resort and villa, don’t be fooled, it’s an older run down basic semi hotel and rooms. The bathroom was the pits. It looked very old and disgusting, the 3 drains in the floor didn’t drain so when using the toilet, it’s all one room, your feet are in puddles of water, when using the sink your feet are in puddles, there was toilet paper jammed in the roof to block out holes, one roof beam was open to the jungle so critters had easy access, there was no shelf or facility in the bathroom for toiletries unless you wanted to use the wet floor that doesn’t drain, the bathroom window has no privacy or curtain so everyone can you in the shower. The beds are hard as a rock, the air con is as loud as a truck, there were vines growing out of the wall, the balcony was shared and zero privacy. All of this would be fine if it was cheap, but being just after new years it was very expensive and booked out so we had no other option. Even after telling the staff my wife is 5 months pregnant and the floor is very slippery and dangerous they said they were fully booked, of which was not the case as there were empty rooms each night. Terrible experience for the price, some staff tried to help and others had no idea, feels like structural issues as there were rooms empty we are 5 months pregnant yet help was unforthcoming and overall I would highly suggest you stay somewhere else unless this is the only option, Long beach is the most stunning location though. We moved next door for the last night, similar price but a massive difference, clean, helpful staff and much much better. I feel they are taking advantage of the lack of options in a stunning location.

I stayed here with my partner on the 6th of March 2024 and was suppose to stay for two nights. I booked a twin room, the room was dated and dull and not as glamourous as portrayed on the website. We just accepted this. Whilst sleeping at approximately 05:00am I heard squeaking noises and shuffling above me coming from the air vents that proceeded to get louder as it got closer. I had earlier in the night noted that there was a hole in the ceiling above the head board of my bed. A rat then fell from the ceiling onto my face, obviously causing serious distress. My partner and I managed to capture the said rat on video and then approached the reception desk and realised no one was at reception despite the website stating it was open 24hours. We were forced to wait outside. At approximately 7am we spoke with a hotel worker who was setting up breakfast and showed him the video and explained what happened, he was nice and as helpful as could be and informed us the manager would come. The manager did not arrive for almost 1 hour, the situation was explained to the manager and he accepted full responsibility and apologised. He was not willing to offer a refund if we stayed in the hotel in a different room the following night. We decided to leave the Phi Phi islands instead and accepted the full refund through the booking website. This was a very distressing incident and something I did not expect to happen at a hotel that is portrayed as a luxury stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

The team were generally pretty good, there when you needed them but also out of your way when you were relaxing. We had the Deluxe suite Seaview and the room itself was great, clean and ready to go. Balcony view was nothing short of spectacular. The bathroom whilst useful had one of the worst patch jobs I have seen, not a tradie but I could have done a better patch of the bath. The other item on walking into the room was the sheer volume of rules which also backed up at the pool. Can only assume they have had some trouble with guests in the past but have noticed on Phi Phi everywhere likes lots of rules. The beach restaurant was immaculate and nothing like a meal on the sand with a view second to none. Short walk to all the activities on the island and have to recommend the massage on site.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at PP Mountain Hotel during our stay on Koh Phi Phi. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, displaying kindness and friendliness that truly enhanced our stay. A special mention to their exceptional care when our 6-year-old daughter was unwell – their compassion and assistance were truly heartwarming. The rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after our island adventures. The entire staff's commitment to hospitality left a lasting impression on us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Koh Phi Phi, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Marc & the PP Mountain Hotel team for making our stay so memorable. Thank you for your warmth and exceptional service!

We were greeted warmly at the reception & got a beautiful pool facing Room with the backdrop of the Sea. The pier is barely 5mins walk and the Hotel had sent a cart with the man holding our placard. The Room was spacious for 3 Pax & was totally comfortable. The location of this Hotel is prime and the food joints & market streets are all walking distance. The breakfast spread is good enough to start your day with… Relax in the pool or just across the pier to take a private tour in the Long Tail Boats. This a must do if you are staying in this Island. You will be surprised to watch the fire shows, music & dance at the beach Parties. This Island has some lovely restaurants with delicious local cuisine and a wide spread platter for Sea Food lovers. Chill with the “Chang Beer” and interesting Cocktails. We stayed for 3 nights and had a memorable time….Our room commanded a picturesque view!! We will definitely be back here. Only improvement required to be done by the Hotel Management is to renovate the bathrooms & fittings as these are dated.

Nice bungalows with all comforts, nice white beach to relax on with bar for food and drinks, they can organise boat trips and excursions for you at a decent price. Unfortunately I feel like all the famous beaches around which you are supposed to go see are packed with tourists and full of plastic, I think they should take care of the beaches where they send their clients to, our boat trip was nice but we cut it short at one point cause the beaches were too crowded or dirty. We personally picked up 2 full big plastic bags of rubbish while the boat crew set around smoking. Also the lunch boxes were not great. The Ruan Thai restaurant was very nice, book a day in advance though cause it fills up quickly. The spa also is great, very good massages and nice environment. Cute village nearby to walk to for drinks, dinner, cheaper massages and mini markets. All in all nice resort but not an unforgettable experience.
With a stay at Phi Phi Holiday Resort in Ko Phi Phi, you'll be 5.7 mi (9.1 km) from Maya Bay and 5.7 mi (9.1 km) from Pileh Lagoon. This beach resort is 5.8 mi (9.3 km) from Long Beach and 7 mi (11.2 km) from Ko Phi Phi Viewpoint.

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!
With a stay at Phi Phi Natural Resort in Ko Phi Phi, you'll be 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from Laem Tong Beach and 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from Loh Bagao Beach. This beach resort is 1.5 mi (2.5 km) from Nui Beach and 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from Loh Dalam Bay.
Take advantage of recreation opportunities such as an outdoor pool or take in the view from a terrace and a garden. Additional amenities at this resort include complimentary wireless Internet access, gift shops/newsstands, and tour/ticket assistance.
Satisfy your appetite at Leamtong Restaurant, one of the resort's 3 restaurants. Quench your thirst with your favorite drink at the bar/lounge. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM to 10 AM.
Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services.
Make yourself at home in one of the 150 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and minibars. Rooms have private balconies. Complimentary wireless Internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Private bathrooms with showers feature complimentary toiletries and bidets.
Experience further in our gigantic botanic garden on the vast land. A dive center, restaurants and tour services are available on-site. It is also super convenience to arrive at the resort by the ferry and speedboat with "Andaman Wave Master". You can find a direct boat from Phuket Rassada Pier or Krabi Klong Jilad Pier, or connect with their boat service if you are coming from other destinations.

We are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. Simply stunning location

PPengguna TetamuA fantastic little resort where every room is a detached chalet set in palms and green foliage. At night spot lights add to the magical feel of the place. The room is a little on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is modern. However... the walls are paper thin and although being detached, you cloud clearly hear the guests next door. The pool area was perfect. The relaxing atmosphere encouraged you to make the list of the swim up bar and the pool food service. The view out to sea was pretty spectacular too. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the main part of the island where you can eat and drink at so many places. Everything was idyllic until the clock struck 8pm! Then you are bombarded with the loudest club music you could ever imagine. This lasts every night until 2am. Why the island can't stop this, I haven't a clue but it certainly spoiled the holiday for us. We were so shocked in the first night, with the windows of our hut literally vibrating that we rebooked our original hotel back on the mainland as we just couldn't bear the noise. However the next day was our first full day at the resort. That was so relaxing and enjoyable, that we decided to bear with the loud music for the next two nights. The reception staff were not that cheerful which was a shame. And we had issues with the aircon and the fridge which was warm. This wasn't really fixed even though we asked and we were charged for ice too which again was a little rich! Would we go back? No. But it was a nice place to stay for a few days up until 8pm!
PPengguna TetamuMy husband and I booked an Ocean Cliff Villa for 4 nights and everything about this place was wonderful, from start to finish! The room had a beautiful traditional Thai feel about it with exceptional views, and we instantly felt relaxed and happy as soon as we arrived! As keen divers and snorkelers, this area is amazing with such a variety of colorful and interesting marine life, we even used one of the (free) kayak's to explore a nearby beach for more snorkeling. The restaurant served some of the tastiest Thai food we have had, and the cocktails....well what can I say?! Superb and such good value for money. Staff always greet you with a warm welcome and waved us off as we left, nothing is too much trouble and we felt like we were treated as friends from the first moment we stepped foot on the resort. The nature trail through the jungle and up to the viewpoint is well worth it, we did this twice and saw wild monkeys on the 2nd day. We recommend using mosquito spray for the jungle trek which is readily available at the small reception shop if you don't have any already. As a couple, we enjoy quiet, relaxing places (away from hustle and bustle and crowds) where we can connect with nature and this place ticked every box! A highlight was watching the crabs on the beach as we enjoyed our dinner (and a few cocktails) after the sun went down. We loved it so much, we have already reserved another 4 nights next January and are so excited to return! Thank you to all the wonderful team at The Cove :-)
DDiplodeacI was a bit worried about this hotel as I’m a city guy and typically like to stay in 5 star resorts. This hotel definitely isn’t a 5 star, but it’s actually more special. Peaceful surroundings, solid food, attentive staff, clean facilities. A once in a lifetime experience and at a reasonable price. We found ourselves wishing that we’d booked two nights instead of one. I would definitely stay here again.
PPengguna TetamuThe room was nice, we were a family of five with kids. Spacious room, great view, adequate bathroom. The place itself felt a bit run down and the steps would put a lot of people off staying here. Everything went well, we were no bother to the hotel, didn’t ask for our room cleaned, didn’t complain, were quiet and respectful etc etc. so when we came to check out we were so shocked to find that we were being fined for going over by 20 mins. We know that rules are rules but we also know that there is discretion and common sense. We just cannot understand why a run down hotel like this, that needs all the help it can get is actively letting relatively happy guests go on a bad note!!! A 200baht fine on check out leads to only one thing - a negative review.
PPengguna TetamuWe planned to stay at this hotel for two nights. We checked in and reception looked ok. There was no lift to get to the bedrooms so had to carry the suitcases and bag packs up the stairs. We walked into the room and honestly I have no words! There was bugs everywhere, it was dirty, stains on the sheets. The bed was like concrete and we immediately knew we could not stay in that room. When trying to get out the door would also not lock. The couple we were travelling with had an even worse room then ours. These rooms were on a very busy loud street. We went to reception and they showed my partner a different rooms that both couples have. This was better but these rooms were NOT under PP Charlie hotel this was under PP Princess hotel. The woman reassured that this was a quiet room. The room was bigger and more comfortable, a lot more like the pictures provided upon the PP Charlie website. Most importantly it was clean and the air con worked. This room was double the price on top of what we had already payed. On the night we again had to ask to move as the base of music from a tattoo shop had the bed vibrating. The hotel was accommodating in letting us move 3 doors up where it was more quiet. The swimming pool is nothing at all like the pictures. Please do not be fooled by the pictures of this hotel. This hotel needs a lot of TLC.
PPengguna TetamuJudging by the pictures on Google Maps there is a wide range of rooms available. Some clearly much better than others. Ju Soh ( I hope I've got that right. She was the elegant lady with the light grey head scarf), booked us in and we mainly dealt with her during our stay and she was excellent. She booked us in efficiently, made sure everything was in order and helped us with advice during our visit. She arranged our transit from Phi Phi to Koh Samui when we left which went smoothly. Our room was at the rear of the main building in what, I would politely describe as, a recent addition. Possibly constructed by apprentice builders who need a new bubble in their spirit level and they've not noticed that the end has snapped off their tape measure. 🤦🏻♂️ Nothing is straight and nothing fits. It was accessed via an abstract series of uneven steps surfaced in green bathroom tiles then a wooden staircase which leant forward as they hadn't put it in at the correct angle. This led to our landing which had the rooms to the right and more stairs up to yet another level. Our room had a double bed missing a leg on the right side, if standing facing the top of the bed, so that the frame banged every time you rolled over. The top left corner had a tile under that leg. There was damage to the plastic bathroom door that had clearly been salvaged from elsewhere as it was much smaller than the doorway with the old screw holes clearly visible and the door latch that didn't line up with the original retainer The bathroom sink had no water pressure so you had to use the shower head. The shower had decent pressure and drained to the drain in the bottom left corner. The toilet served it's purpose. We put some water in empty water bottles to give them some weight and used these to plug the floor and sink drain when not in use to stop the mozzies coming up through the drains, as suggested in reviews we had seen. They do not use U bend water traps on their plumbing hence when there's no water flowing it's an open route for bugs in to the room. We found a leech on the floor one time as we had forgotten to put the bottle back. The walls are cardboard thin so we could hear our neighbours whenever they came, left or moved about. The aircon worked well, a blessing. The establishment's location is great. It's a 12 minute walk through town from the port and is about 100m from the edge of the main town. It is about 40m after the start of the steps up to the viewpoint. Most places outside town involve climbing up the hills that surround the town. This place didn't As there are only a very few vehicles on the island you walk every where. A man with a trolley met us at the port and took our bags as we walked behind through the maze of narrow streets in the town. That was a blessing as it would have been a nightmare to navigate and manage our luggage in the mid afternoon heat and crowds. Well worth the 100bht.
PPengguna TetamuIf this was the only remaining accommodation left in Phi Phi I would advise to sleep on the beach or just don’t bother going. The smell of sewerage is unbearable. View obstructed by overgrown bush. Place is untidy with rubbish everywhere. 2 mile uphill through piles of garbage up and is just too far away to enjoy a short stay on what is otherwise a beautiful island. Not safe to be walking at night time. Staff were friendly and did give a hand to carry bags up the hill. Checked in and immediately looked for alternative accommodation. We had booked 3 nights. Offered owner to pay for the 1 and asked if we could have money back for the other 2 but they refused. Unfortunately had paid upfront on Agoda. Ruined what should have been a nice stay of our holiday in Thailand. Moved to Banyan Villa which was very nice and in a great location.
PPengguna TetamuNOT FOR FAMILYS OR COUPLES!!! WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND TO YOUNG GROUPS WHO DONT CARE OF THE ROOMS. I stayed here 6 years ago and it was quite a nice place, so I decided to come back with my partner. Upon walking to the hotel, there's a bridge with what I can only describe as a sewer which leads directly to the sea, it turns your stomach before you even enter the resort. We was welcomed by a lady on reception who checked us in. I had wrote to them the day early to ask if a staff member could meet us at the port to help with bags and show us directions to the resort as I forgot the way. They confirmed someone would meet us, I sent them my arrival time and no one showed up. And what a shock, every guest for the next 2 days we're complaining the same at reception. Anyway, onto the room. I had booked a deluxe bungalow (photos attached). It was full of dead bugs, it hadn't been cleaned in months, the bed sheets were stained, and the 'garden view' was a small area full of rubbish. To make it even better, it was on the sewer stream too. A lizard ran into my room when I opened the door, my partner had to remove 3 long centipede things from the room on the first day. The night time the entire bungalow, or shed we should name I, was rattling with the booming music til 4am from the beach, also not advertised... I complained to TRIP.COM who I booked the hotel with, who were also extremely useless in helping me, so I went to the reception and complained to the lady who said, the entire resort is noisy... ??? Why not state on your website it's for young kids who want to get drunk all holiday then??? Anyway, we was DOWNGRADED to a hotel room above the lobby. Exactly the same thing, dirty showers, stained bed sheets, dirty fridge, full of dead spiders. The noise was slightly less as that was the ONLY room with double glazed windows. I managed to stay 3 nights because everywhere else on the island was fully booked. My stay was supposed to be 5 nights. I'm 30 years old, me and my partner live in Magaluf, so we're are FAR from fussy. But this place is beyond a joke. The lady laughed at me when checking out early and didn't even ask why or apologie or offer a refund for my stay. One last thing, I saw a family try check in. The lady had a new born baby and a girl ages around 3/4yrs. There room had been cancelled without knowledge and was stood there for over an hour crying and upset as they had no where to stay. WITH A NEW BORN BABY!!!!!!!! I Think this was resolved but I highly doubt they got any sleep what so ever. If you want your trip to phi phi to be ruined, I advise staying here. If not, check out the opposite side of the island, the hotels are the same price and 10x higher standards.
PPengguna Tetamu
