Exceptional. Rooms are superb, large, with a courtyard and XXL bathroom. Pool is very clean and offering a nice view on the Mekong river. Food is delicious. Very happy to stay there and relax between 2 factories visit, will come back for sure!

This was our first time staying out of the city center of PP and we weren't disappointed by what this secluded resort had to offer. Upon arrival we were seated in the lounge and given a refreshing welcome drink whilst our bags were taken to the room for us. We chose to have lunch in the Theato restaurant and the food was excellent, very fresh ingredients and our meals were full of flavour. The river view rooms are superb. Very spacious and plenty of room to relax. A couple of negatives: The hot tub on the balcony is not working (which is why they now sell it as a plunge pool), I didn't realise this until checking the listing again. That is something that seem a little underhand. The room also lacked espresso cups and beer glasses.However these were promptly brought to the room upon request. The bathroom was very clean which is always nice to see, as was the rest of the room, only a few dusty areas that i noticed on high or covered surfaces, certainly nothing to be concerned about. The air conditioner in the bedroom is too loud though, they really need to look at replacing these for quieter models. We slept with the quieter one in the living on and it just about kept the room cool enough. The grounds of the hotel are immaculately kept, as is the pool area where you can quite easily get service for drinks and food throughout the day. Soft background music from the restaurant adds to the ambiance. I do think that not having a dedicated bar area is an oversight, there is certainly space for it and It would really elevate the status of the resort, if guests could enjoy a cocktail overlooking the river, instead the only option is to sit inside the restaurant. The food and drinks at the resort are excellent, the local food is authentic and fairly priced considering the quality, although the portion sizes are a little small. I'd have no issues recommending this restaurant for any occasion, it 's that good. The coffee in the morning is perfect too, correct size cappuccinos etc. Eggs Benedict/royale/Florentine are up there with the best I've had. There are fresh pastries and various smoothies too. I could talk about the breakfast for ages. Service is attentive, friendly and the staff speak good English...can't be faulted. We stayed in the resort for the duration of our 3 day stay as we have visited the city a few times previously as as there is nothing of interest around the hotel, so it's a perfect excuse to just relax at the resort. If you do want to use it as a base for a city visit I think it's also suitable as it's just a 20 minutes drive to the city center. We are already looking forward to returning.

While the hotel can arrange taxis, it might be slightly more expensive than grabbing one yourself. Overall, The Bale Phnom Penh exceeded my expectations. It's a luxurious retreat with stunning design, impeccable service, and a tranquil atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in Phnom Penh. We would come back and we would recommend our friends and family to go

A beautiful setting alongside the magnificent Mekong river Spacious and very comfortable suites with delicious food for breakfast and a variety of dishes available to suit all culinary tastes , a gem of a discovery just a short ride outside of Phnom Penh city ,a team of very helpful ,friendly staff whom will do their best to look after their guests

Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient.

We come here yearly and love It. So peaceful. The staff are wonderful. Great breakfast and menu options. Highly recommend- great for resting also great for a destination wedding or family time away!

Fantastic hotel

Accommodation was really great. Had the most relaxing time when we were here. Would definitely come back once I return from PP. My kids enjoyed being in the pool. The spectacular view added a plus with our stay. Thanks

Nice retreat by the Mekong River just outside Phnom Penh city centre. Expansive suites, peaceful environment, well presented and tasty dishes, and helpful staffs. The only down side is that there’s nothing much around.

Enjoy my weekend getaway experience just now it is rainy season but still ok. Quite and Peaceful

Staffs are great, foods are amazing the only disadvantage is entrance into the hotel is a-bit difficult to spot especially if it is at night time. Overall, it was an amazing experience
