The Nice Guest House offers a pleasant stay in Phonsavan for those traveling for business or leisure.The hotel is just 6km away from Xieng Khouang Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Xieng Khouang Provincial Museum, Laos War Memorial and Sang Vieng Kai Ti Suan Phou Kham all nearby.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel here is nice. The area is bad, but that is to be expected when traveling to a rural area. Upon arriving you’ll immediately be pressured into buying a tour. The price I was offered was $100 for two people. The tour was from 8-4. They do bring you to all the sites which for us was good. We had an uncomfortable experience on the second day of our tour (which was booked through the hotel) it was only supposed to be $80 for a half day where they then take us to the airport, but instead at the end he charged us $95 in the local currency. Overall I would recommend the hotel, but no need to book a tour with them.
