Quite a decent place. Older style hotel. Room fine, good river view too. Bed comfortable. Do not expect to have a refreshing shower unless you are under 150cm as it is fixed to the wall and made for small people. Anyone taller and bending down the only option, very poor really. Pool was quite good but cold as it gets no sun until much later in the afternoon. Refreshing though. Various on-site restaurants. Bar near lobby area, prices way too much I noticed. Breakfast was quite good although the staff were not friendly, seemed disinterested and some often seen larking about maybe as it was not too busy when we went. 5 minutes walking distance to train station where there are Tuk Tuks and a few eating places as well as the usual street food. 7-11 too. Train to or from BKK is worth the experience (but takes a while to go 70km) and 3rd class trip costs 15 THB...wtaf! The boat river crossing is closed at the moment as the river is too high. Getting across the river needs to be by Tuk Tuk or taxi really. Normally at least one Tuk Tuk outside the hotel too. You know the form, must haggle them down. We used Grab a lot and got where we wanted to go. Probably can walk to some of the historic sites but probably not advised and Grab is cheap and has AC so is the way to go. There is Soi Farang and Grand Street for a livelier atmosphere with more bars and restaurants, again a cheap taxi ride away. Overall not a bad place and decent location for a reasonable and not too expensive a price.

Hello, that's Elli and Eyan. We've been looking for the place like this forever! Such a beautiful small apartment we were staying in, with a kitchen and nice shower, with a hot tub and a balcony. House keeping stuff and other services are so nice and caring. Pool and jacuzzi were also superb. We were enjoying each other SOOOOO much in this beautiful hotel, super atmospheric.... People! Also, breakfasts are the best! It's soo nice to go down for the breakfast every morning. Varieties of different foods and beautiful relaxing music... Caring stuff that fills your coffee or tea cup any time you are about to stand up and get it by yourself... Recommended from the bottom of our hearts 💓

Por parte de la administración Falta mas info para hacer tours en la ciudad.. Algo pasa con la ubicación en Google maps para encontrar el hostel.... Siempre se le pregunta a alguna persona, miran en el celu google maps y lo envía a uno a otra ubicación.. favor revisar ese tema,.puede que tenga error de dirección. Colchones muy confortables. Punto en contra: es que no le funciona el datáfono. No dan toalla. Hay que dejar depósito de dinero en el check in. El desayuno está muy bien... café instantáneo, pan tajado, mermelada, mantequilla, cereales y leche. Lo ideal es que alquile cicla o moto para conocer los diferentes lugares que hay en la ciudad.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dem Hostel. Hatten ein Zimmer mit privatem Bad. Das Zimmer hatte jedoch kein einziges Fenster und die Dusche war so im Bad platziert, dass alles nass wurde. Die Matratze vom Bett war sehr sehr hart, alles hat gequietscht und es gab keine Möglichkeit, seine Klamotten unterzubringen (Schrank etc.). Das schlimmste war jedoch der Lärm in der Nacht und am Morgen. Bis 2 Uhr nachts kam ständiger Lärm aus dem Gemeinschaftsraum, wo Menschen total laut Fernsehen geschaut haben und gelacht haben. Wir konnten nicht einschlafen und um 8 Uhr morgens wurde eine Lautsprecheranlage angemacht und dröhnte das gesamte Hostel mit Musik zu. Einzig guter Punkt des hostels ist die gute Lage in Ayutthaya

Dit was een ervaring die ik niet had willen missen. Als je authentiek wil overnachten dan is dit de plek. We waren de enige gasten in dit hotel. Het ligt op een eilandje. Je wordt opgehaald met de boot als je belt. De rust die je daar voelt zo dicht bij de stad is uniek. Mooie slaapkamer en badkamer. Badkamer is wel apart van je slaapkamer. Maar heb dit niet als probleem ervaren. Er is heerlijk gekookt voor ons. Een wandeling gemaakt op het eiland waar je tussen de huisjes loopt waar de mensen wonen en werken.

La chambre n'est pas très grande mais impeccable, avec salle de bain très propre. L'accueil est très chaleureux et le couple qui gère l'établissement est très gentil et serviable : il nous a réservé une voiture avec chauffeur pour rejoindre la gare routière au prix d'un tuk-tuk... Le petit déjeuner est simple mais très pratique. L'hôtel est proche de quelques temples.

Dear Thailand Traveler, While in Thailand, you may decide to make a stopover in Ayutthaya Province, which is one of the historic capital cities of Thailand. If you do, you may think about a stay at The Avail hotel. First, let me tell you that The Avail will not satisfy the needs of those seeking 5 star accommodations. Having said that, if you are seeking a clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable place to enjoy an evening or two while in Ayutthaya - you will be very satisfied checking into The Avail. What I found so satisfying about The Avail is that everything works, and works well. The bathroom is comfortable and the shower is hot, the bed is amazingly comfortable and the comforter is soft and warm, the air conditioner blows cold, and the room is clean. Everything that needs to work...does, and this is something that I cannot always say about even the most expensive places. Moreover, the staff is friendly, the price is right (900 THB/night), and the location is near historic ruins, elephant rides, and some very good restaurants. You cannot write a review and say only good things, so here is the best I can do to say something somewhat critical. There is no coffee or coffee cups in the room, but there is a hot water pot. On the bright side, if you want coffee, there is a complimentary coffee cart in the lobby with both. I am sure if you asked to take coffee to your room, they would be most happy to oblige. One more comment, I did not see a strong box in the room to store valuables. All and all - a very good find. Best/Kevin
