Ulasan Leaf Hotel Phu Quoc

The hotel's location isn't great; it feels a bit like a rural-urban fringe area. Although it's only a 10-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute walk to the beach, the initial impression wasn't good. The lobby and overall appearance are much worse than what the photos suggest. It's more like a private high-rise apartment building. Check-in was simple and convenient. The room wasn't large but it was neat and clean. The bamboo pendant light by the bed hangs a bit low, and someone 175cm tall might hit their head! Air conditioning and a safe are provided. I didn't dare drink the bottled water directly and boiled it first. The room's soundproofing isn't great; I could hear roosters crowing and outside noise early in the morning. The breakfast on the 5th floor was excellent, offering views of planes landing and taxiing, and you could also see the sea. The beef pho and seafood noodles we ordered were delicious! Other limited Western dishes were also good. The owner is very nice. The hotel also rents out motorbikes for 100,000 VND per day. The hotel swimming pool is a 5-minute walk away, not on-site. Nearby, there are various convenience stores and one massage parlor. There's also a free public bus on the roadside that goes around the island.

This hotel is quite eco-friendly. Its location is about a ten-minute walk from the beach. If you're looking for an affordable option, it's pretty decent. They do offer a service to call taxis or arrange drivers for you. One day, we used their driver to take us to the south of the island, and they charged us over 300 Hong Kong dollars (1,200,000 VND). Sometimes, the driver would pick up other guests and then send someone else to drive us. The next day, I asked the hotel to arrange a pickup from the city center back to the hotel in the evening, and then to the airport the following morning. The quote for both trips combined was 500,000 VND, which is about 160 Hong Kong dollars. However, if I used Grab, both trips combined would only be 170,000 VND. In the end, I only asked the hotel to arrange a car to the airport, which was a ten-minute drive, and they charged 120,000 VND. In Phu Quoc, if you hail a taxi or grab one off the street, they often overcharge tourists or have 'seafood pricing' (variable pricing). It feels like being ripped off! Everyone should be aware of this! Using Grab or VinBus is a better option!

A pleasant hotel, small and cozy! Breakfast can be purchased on-site for 70k (and it's delicious). The staff at the front desk are always ready to help! Excellent value for money.

The accommodation was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. However, I occasionally heard people in the hallway walking by and opening/closing doors, which might be a bit disruptive for light sleepers. Also, the hotel is environmentally conscious, so they don't provide disposable slippers. Overall, though, it's a great place for a vacation.

A wonderful city hotel! I stayed there for 25 nights. It only cost me 1600 Russian rubles per night, which is about 500k VND. It's clean, smells pleasant, has kind staff, bathrobes, an aroma diffuser in the room, a clean kettle, and drinking water in the common area. I had a room with an airport view and enjoyed the scenery every day.

The room was very cosy and nice with basic amenities. Staff working there were friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a good stay.

We liked very much this hotel. Clean and cozy room with a comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, aircondition. It has a safety box which was very convenient for us. Very comfortable transportation to aeroport by a free city bus which stops not far from hotel. Water refill option is also very useful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the leaf hotel. It was reasonable price with clean and new hotel close to the airport. Our arrival time was 11pm and was just looking for a hotel nearby the airport. They had shared pool with other resort which we couldn’t get time to enjoy. The breakfast was goooooood! We had the pho noodle soup and was yumm. The only thing that was missing was the hotel’s sound proofing system. We can hear people outside of the building that night and also could hear the bell ringing. But it was worthy.

This is the hotel I stay for four night and I like the local is not too busy or u can say not in the centre but I can walk or get a grab every where or they have a fee bus just 3 min walk can go around the island for free

Great hotel close to the airport. 15 minutes walk to the beach. True to the photos. High speed internet via wi-fi. Breakfast on the fifth floor with a nice view.

Good service and value for money. Taxi from airport or to phu Quoc night market. Big room.

Room is spacious, very close to the airport, swimming pool is not inside the hotel, 2 mins walking distance to it.
