Ulasan Chanalai Garden Resort, Kata Beach

Chanalai Garden Resort is one of the larger/more well-known stays in Kata - many tour pickups and taxi/bolt drivers would immediately know the location. It is directly next to Kata Beach with many restaurants in its immediate vicinity. A 7-11 is situated conveniently right across the road from the resort too! There is a pool that serves drinks, a gym and various themed nights for guests to enjoy. Room is clean and is well-equipped with basic facilities. Depending on your room type, you may have to walk quite a bit of distance (and its not sheltered from the rain) from the main entrance. Breakfast wise... honestly not the best in my opinion. My booking did not come with "Breakfast Included" but I thought to purchase for one the days where I had a really early tour. Would strongly suggest visiting the cafe located just opposite the resort for better coffee and pastries for approximately the same price. Regardless, Chanalai Garden Resort is still a great place to stay with extremely friendly staff and is conveniently located!

Great hotel. Nice rooms and pools, not far from the beach. I recommend it for a family vacation.

Lovely hotel for our family holiday. Just across the road from the beach and with 2 pools on site, we had everything we needed. Good buffet breakfast and lots of places to eat nearby.

Special thanks to reception for being so warm and welcoming even after a delayed flight and arrival post regular check-in time of midnight. They set us immediately at ease and were all exceptionally friendly and professional in spite of the fact that it was already so late. Rooms were spacious and well kitted out with everything you might need. As it was a special occasion, they also made sure the room had an added personal touch. Thank you! The breakfast buffet was A+++ and again.. every staff member was lovely and showed genuine kindness and interest in making sure we had everything we needed. They have 2 pools.we spent most of our time at the big pool on the 4th floor. The barman they had working there was one of the most personable and jovial people I've ever met and pours an excellent drink. The weather was not great, but the staff made it seem inconsequential.

Stunning view for my Seaview room-type , super friendly staff, clean room, and a great location near the beach and market. This is my second time here, and I will definitely come back again.

Staff are nice. But the room was not quite good, air conditioning was noisy. Not worth for renting the sea-view, I think normal will be fine. Sea-view needed to take a 5-7 mins walk from lobby to room, and 3 elevators. Swimming pool was good and nice, but water pressure in bath room was not strong enough. Overall, normal room instead of sea-view. And air conditioning was a bit noisy, but staff were nice.

Service was amazing all staff so friendly and going above and beyond to make sure out time was joyful, accommodating our every need with all staff speaking good English was unexpected but a fantastic added bonus for an Aussie in Thailand.

Very good resort and really close to beach. Not much night action in close proximity but only a 10-15 minute walk away.

the hotel complex is very outdated, the towels are dirty and the pool smells unbearable at mealtime. The location is good and in 3 minutes walk to the beach.

The service was good, but many times we reported an issue with the internet connection, and just on the last night before the checkout they solved the problem. Also, need to have more information about the extra charges to avoid inconvenience.

The hotel surprised us on so many levels. First, we've got a free upgrade for our Babymoon to a magical room with unbelievable ocean views. Second, all staff genuinely looked like they enjoy being there and working there. I've completed two feedback forms during our stay which were handed to me by staff. Obviously they really care about guest satisfaction. Third, the hotel is really well maintained. There is maintenance going on all the time, we had brand new umbrellas and sun beds. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing. So many options you would never tire of those. If I was nit picking, I'd suggest the room cleaning to be done earlier in the day (not around 3-4pm) and to give guests their water automatically every day, regardless whether they want their room cleaned or not. Would definitely be back
