Not a bad hotel to stay for a couple of nights. A bit boring the neighborhood but the hotel territory is big enough

I booked a week at this hotel in Thailand which seems like it hadn’t had any maintenance for 10 years - before I booked I reviewed the glowing reports on the trip.com and IHG websites. 5 days later when I went there it still had all the IHG signage but IHG had delisted it”. Mayve helped if they’d taken it off their website and told the customers(! Never again. Trip.com service hopeless ad bad as this hotel is. Isolated and a disaster - avoid

Very peaceful and beautiful front beach villa.

I booked for room type”king andaman seaview” when I got there I got the room that cannot see the sea only see the opposite building.I was informed that the room type I booked was just a “classic”, I showed them my booking reference From trip.com. Then they changed the room for me(at first when I asked they said the room with the Seaview was not available) The whole process took about an hour waiting and walking up and down, and the room is so far away from the reception and from the lift. The room is very very old. The maintenance is very bad. Some of the plug cannot be used. I used to stay here once a few years ago, under the name, Crown Plaza, and said to myself those time that I will never come here again, but I get trapped by the name because they change the name to Phuket Panwa!! Never again!

Good value for money. Clean and spacious rooms. Fantastic views of the bay. Free kayaking and paddle boarding. Friendly and accommodating staff. Would certainly return.

There are so many great things about this hotel, it's a shame that it is let down by easy to fix things. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the sea with 2 lovely swimming pools. The rooms are large and very comfy, our bed was a delight and the sofa area was really great. The cleaners did a great job in the room, no complaints. However we had room service and put our used plates outside and they stayed there for our whole 3 day stay. All along the hallway were plates and bags of rubbish that were left for days. Not great when you walked to your room. It was also let down by mediocre food. A sandwich took nearly 45 minutes to arrive at the pool. Breakfast was mediocre too, lukewarm bacon and eggs, lack of options, nothing exciting for someone like me who really enjoys a hotel breakfast. Luckily ours was only a few pounds per person. If I had paid the walk up price of £18 I may have asked for a refund.

Special thanks to Darek and the staff who made our 2 week stay at the Crowne Plaza Panwa the most enjoyable while in Phuket. I would highly recommend this hotel as the pool and private beach are amazing. During low tide you can walkout 100m into the bay and watch local fisherman catch squid. I stayed in the duplex and would come beck the next time in Phuket!

Nice room and nice view service was good . Just that location is a bit off from the main attraction however is just a short 15 min drive to centra Phuket and old town Phuket
