Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Piacenza

The reason I am giving this 2 stars is because I  sleeped awfully in the bed, I found my mattress very uncomfortable. To be fair my wife next to me slept like a log. The picture quality on the TV was very good indeed, so much so I am making a comment about it.  A printed list of the channels would have been very useful. No idea why the channels we had were advertised as ”premium”.  The only English channels we finally found were 3 news channels.  Apart from films you would have on any normal Italian TV, no other films. WiFi was very good. The Bathroom was very nice, with an ample supply of good towels.  We went for the half board option.  Glad we did.  The food in the restaurant was very good, we could order any 2 dishes from the menu. We ordered our selves 2 glasses of wine with our meal.  After we finished I offered to pay for these extra.  I was very surprised to be told they were included in our meal deal. Good food and service, good value for money.  All the staff we spoke to had good English, and were very welcoming Covid restrictions like the whole of England were now very limited. The staff had mask, but no restrictions on us guests. So for the first time in maybe 2 years we found ourselves sharing a lift with 2 unmasked individuals.  This is going to become the new normal (again).  If you are not happy with this situation your only option would be not to travel. This is not a criticism of this hotel, just  a comment on governments policy's.  On going down for breakfast I was initially disappointed they was no all singing coffee machine, only a filter one.  After a couple of minutes I realised other residents were asking the serving staff to bring them their favourite coffee from the kitchen which they freshly made. Why not display a notice stating this? Compared to any  humble French hotel the bread quality was poor. However the selection of sliced cold meats was very good. They also had cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. The fruit juice  offered was not the real thing. I can't remember when I had such a poor night's sleep in a hotel, so we will not be going back, which in many whys is a shame. 

We went there during late April for a vacation and the hotel stay was terrible. We paid for a king-sized bed but got two beds attached that separated, making sleep uncomfortable. The TV was outdated and unusable, the WiFi was slow, and the bathroom was poorly designed. We had to fully open the door to enter, the shower had a tiny grid for our products, and the counter was so small my girlfriend did her makeup on the floor in front of the wardrobe mirror. The morning buffet was plain, and the receptionist, thinking my girlfriend didn't understand Italian was swearing in front of her, he also tried to charge us twice. It took 20 minutes to find our reservation, nearly causing us to miss our train. We were rushed out of the room and felt mistreated as a young couple. The only positive thing was the restaurant, which had a good service. The hotel was overpriced for what we got and it the worst hotel experience ever.

Spiace dover penalizzare una struttura, perché si penalizza contestualmente anche il personale dipendente, ma è doveroso che la struttura si rinnovi quanto prima nel rispetto dei clientela pagante . L’hotel in questione, ha tante lacune da migliorare assolutamente Stanze caldissime con impossibilità di modificare la temperatura Perdite d’acqua nella Hall e nel bagno , con rumori che disturbano il sonno Luce di sicurezza verde in stanza , che irradia la stanza stessa, rendendo difficile se non impossibile il sonno Sciacquone del bagno rotto e carta igienica già utilizzata ( quasi a fine rotolo) Arredamento e colazione mediocre, ma non da condannare Park comodo , personale gentile e disponibilissimo, anche consapevole delle evidenti difficoltà

Perfect business Hotel , but also for Families. The breakfast was very big and nice. Save Parking inside. Rooms are well and comfortable. Our stay was just one night but issues with checki in or out. For a ride in the old city of Piazenca you need only five minutes with car or Taxi. The city is nice to eat or shopping something.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per una sola notte nel mese di giugno. Devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo: le stanze sono molto pulite e arredate con gusto: nell’alloggio era presente ogni comodità, addirittura anche il frigobar. L'aria condizionata funzionava bene e le stanze erano insonorizzate. Non dimenticate che ci troviamo vicino a una grossa arteria di scorrimento! Il personale della reception è stato disponibile e pronto a dare ogni tipo di informazioni noi abbisognassimo .Il prezzo pagato per alloggiare in una doppia con bagno è stato molto conveniente. Se passate per una vacanza o (come noi) per una sosta, ve lo consiglio vivamente!

Mi sono trovata molto bene, e per fortuna che ho prenotato nonostante le recensioni. La camera era silenziosa, pulita e il letto comodo. Sono riuscita a riposare molto bene e questo mi ha permesso di avere le forze per affrontare una giornata molto impegnativa il giorno dopo. La camera e la colazione sono essenziali, del resto con il prezzo pagato non si può certo pretendere il lusso sfrenato.

The Front Desk and Restaurant staff was extra welcoming and kind. The rooms very comfortable as well as the beds! We had extra last minute requests and the staff was very accommodating. We travelled with our large dog and this was also not a problem.
