Let me start by saying I’m going into this review a little miffed. In my 40+ years of traveling, I’ve never had a hotel or motel tell me I can’t use my reward points. But in this case, I was told the points can only be used for “Standard Rooms” and all their standard rooms were booked. So I went ahead and paid for a … non-standard room???. Well, I got to my room and guess what - it was just a standard motel room. There was absolutely nothing special or deficient with this room. With that said and out of the way, here are the positive aspects of my stay. The facility is somewhat new and it was clean (the bleach smell hung heavy in the air). The staff was courteous, but not necessarily friendly. The bed was medium firm and there were plenty of pillows. The free breakfast was pretty good. Within 150 feet from the hotel there were two restaurant … the food at the Pho restaurant was really good. Now for some downsides … (1) for all you light sleepers, this was a noisy motel. Even though we were in a room on the backside of the motel facing an empty lot, we could still hear the nearby traffic noise. Additionally, we could hear guests talking in their room and hallway. We could also hear the footsteps from the floor above us. (2) this motel is located in a not so nice location of Tacoma … they even lock the front lobby doors after certain hours, so you need to use your room key card to enter the lobby and to operate the elevator. Connected to the noise issue … I did hear a couple of gun shots at about 3 AM.

Kami mempunyai penginapan yang hebat. Ia adalah bilik yang bersih dan selesa. Penyambut tetamu hotel sangat membantu apabila kami menghadapi masalah dengan tempahan dan secara aktif membantu kami menyelesaikannya. Keesokan paginya, kami menikmati sarapan pagi telur hancur sebenar dengan keju, sosej pautan, kentang dan biskut lembut segar. Kopi yang baik pisang dan muffin untuk jalan raya. Secara keseluruhan hanya penginapan yang hebat dengan nilai yang hebat. Saya pasti akan tinggal di sana lagi.

Nice, decent, clean hotel with breakfast included and free parking. About 10 minute walk from Washington State Fairgrounds, while downtown Puyallup with restaurants and bars is about 20-25 minutes walk or a short drive. Rooms and bathrooms aren't the most modern but everything was very clean and comfortable. I was happy to get a room overlooking the trees (the other 3 sides of the hotel overlook either the parking lot or road). So I had a nice quiet stay. Staff are quite friendly and efficient (although they had a big line up of water bottles at the front desk and when I asked for one she said oh there's water bottles in the room, not mentioning that they are $4 each. If the water bottles at front desk are only reserved for top tier elite Bonvoy members maybe they should hide them out of the way, in my opinion, but that's just a minor point!)

Very clean and nice staff. Nice room for a good price in a good location. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The gated parking garage was a plus. The room felt older and had a little wear and tear, but was we did enjoy it. Would stay there again

Terrible. Terrible Terrible. This place is so unsettling. We first walk in & there are homeless ”guests” everywhere & people who seem to be under the influence swarming the lobby & the parking lot. Already bad 1st impression. Me & my mom check in & the lady @ the front desk seems to be under the influence as well & completely disassociated. @ this point me & my mom just need a place to stay for the night so were ignoring the red flags. We ask for our room we pay the price & get checked in, we grab all of our stuff & head to the room. First of all the hallways reek of urine & cigarette smoke, & looked like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. Second of all the elevator literally shakes & rumbles as if there was an earthquake happening. We get to our door room 231 & it has a huge pile of food crumbs & sunflower seats creating a door mat to the room. We quite literally thought we were being pranked when we opened the door to find our room looking like an actual crime scene. It was absolutely disgusting in there. We take a video & show it to the lady @ the front desk & explain that this is the room they just had us pay for so we want a refund & well find somewhere else to go tonight. The lady @ the front desk, heavier set white girl with glasses & scratches on her arm, literally looks @ us like that's normal & goes ”hmmm looks like they just forgot to ring it up in my system as 'dirty', & usually my manager handles stuff like that so you'll have to come in in the morning.” With that being said we ask for proof of room cancellation & a paper that says they will refund us in the morning in writing. It's the next morning & we ended up talking to the manager over the phone & getting a refund but not @ all worth your time, energy or money. & if only y'all knew the day we had prior to this... smh.
