Gran Oasis Resort

Absolutely fantastic holiday! The food selection was really good. I never missed Breakfast. Lots of salad & fruit variations. Bars were great but wasn't asked about the premium option. Slushies were lovely and lots of inclusive options. Rooms were spacious, airy and fully equipt. Staff all friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

This was our second stay at gran oasis, after staying here previously 6 years ago. Like my previous review all the staff are lovely and greet you with a smile and provide excellent service. The room once again was perfect for our needs. Last time I commented on the food, the buffet wasn't of the same quality as I remember, many of the dishes were either bland or very salty, which was a shame as I remember it being very tasty when I previously visited. I don't know if it's because it wasn't peak season but the day time snack bar was massively different. There was barely any choice and the pastas and pizzas they once served were none existent. Once again I will say this hotels location is a little out of the way, but there is a free shuttle to the main resort and beach every day so it isn't an issue. Plus taxis are very reasonable for any nights out you may want to do. The drinks included are mostly local brands and pre mixed cocktails, but you can find something to your liking. Which brings me to a member of the bar staff at the pool/evening entertainment bar. Silvio is an absolute gent and a credit to the hotel, I asked him to pour me a rum to the strength I preferred and for the rest of the week he knew exactly what I wanted, on top of that he took time to ask me how I was doing and how my day was, by the end of our stay he felt like a friend. Evening entertainment was a mixed bag, but mostly good, the singers in particular putting in a good show. The daytime foam party was also a highlight. Overall had an amazing stay at gran oasis, lots to really recommend, just felt the food let it down this time round.

This hotel truly amazed us. We arrived early at 11am and was told we’d got lucky and our room was available. The room was so much more than we expected, two balconies, Bali bed, two story! It was always impeccably clean. We did not go all inclusive but did have breakfast, which was constantly being restocked and always fresh. I have no idea what you do to the bacon, but it is 10/10. I enjoyed everything I ate. Drinks were reasonably priced and tasty, staff were so lovely and always willing to help calling us taxis every day and replacing our lost hotel room card with no questions asked/fees. We had an hour in the spa (by ourselves! Wow!) which felt luxurious and was really calming. There is always something going on at the hotel which is good for the kids (we weren’t travelling with children) and I enjoyed the music played around the pool. It’s fab to have an on site supermarket too (we had no need to even visit another supermarket in Tenerife). We had a late flight on our last day and were pleasantly surprised to hear standard checkout was 12pm. We had a good few hours round the pool, then used the very good shower facilities. Everything is modernised, clean and just a lovely environment to be in. Honestly, it felt really luxurious for the price and I would return in a heartbeat - I was so sad to leave. The sunbeds aren’t the best quality and there aren’t enough plug sockets in the rooms, however that would be my literal only two slight gripes. Thanks for such a good stay and should I return to Tenerife this would be my first and probably only choice. We were thankfully on the same level as reception with just a small slope to walk up, but I can see it might be difficult if we were quite a way up the resort due to the hilly nature and steps. Hopefully I can request the same type of room and level on my next time!

Wow!! Myself and my family will definitely be returning to stay here again. From the food to the evening and afternoon entertainment, this hotel did not disappoint. Special shout out to Renate, Shelby and Ellie on the entertainment team.The only minor problem was the location of our duplex. It was 5 flights of stairs up so was a trek up every time we needed to return to our accommodation. Next time we book, we will be requesting one on the lower floor but apart from that, we had a fantastic time. Well done team Gran oasis

I am in the hotel,right now. Very disappointed! Yesterday I received a courtesy phone call about the room,I told them my problems. I can't believe this is the 4 star hotel. There is blood on the curtain and black hair all around the room, terrace. (We are blondes) Today we went out and expected a cleaner room, nothing changed. I would not recommended. I am giving 2 starts,because of the staff, they are nice.

We travelled as a family of four, two adults and two children aged 14 and 10. This was our first visit to Tenerife and we visited during October half term. There were positives and a couple of negatives but overall we had a good time, I just don't think it was the right location for us. Room - duplex one bedroom apartment. Wonderfully spacious and clean, beds all very comfortable. The extra beds in the living room area were much better than some of the converted 'sofa beds' we have experienced on other holidays. I would be worried about the layout if my children were younger but perfect for us. Only negatives for the room was the hot water would run out after 2 people had showered. Reception said each room have a small individual water tank so it needed 15 mins to re heat the water. After staggering our showers we all had hot water. Cleaning service and fresh towels daily if that is your preference. Despite the hot water it was one of the best rooms we have stayed in as a family of four over 14 years of all inclusive holidays across Spain. Location - the hotel is a long way from the heart of the resort and the beach. We did walk to the main shopping area one day and walk back, it was about 4.5 miles (according to my fitness app). There are no shops close by but the hotel has a small onsite supermarket that was reasonably priced. The hotel also has little independent sellers some days offering things like jewellery, clothing, trinkets. The hotel felt a bit isolated when we are used to a daily holiday stroll to the tourist areas but if you are someone who doesn't want to leave the hotel they do bring a lot of extras to you. The hotel is on the side of a mountain and there are lots of steps, didn't bother us at all as we appreciated the views from our balconies but may be an issue for less able bodied visitors. Dining - We found the restaurant very busy on certain days, this is the first All Inclusive we have been on where we have had to queue for a table (not all days) and the queues were sometimes very large. It felt like the restaurant wasn't big enough when the hotel was at capacity (although I have to say the staff work so hard to get the tables cleaned and people seated). Once seated, when busy, it was very chaotic, in my opinion there were not enough food serving areas so long queues formed and not all food was available (often a long wait for the chef cooked meat). Food standard for me is that of a budget 4 star, we certainly didnt starve but the food was definitely not 'wow'. Given what we paid I think it was value for money, the chaos annoyed me more than the standard of the food. Best meal of the day was breakfast. Self service drinks in the restaurant and no issue with that, all drinks were a good quality. Pool bar, opens at 11am. We very much appreciated the self service cokes/lager/wines. So nice not to queue for these. Cocktails/slushies available from the pool bar and never a large queue. The food area has a lot of flies whic
