Difficult to find because google is terrible but the property is nice and clean, and the breakfast was good. The owners were very friendly.

This propierty is situated on a very quite area felt very safe,
About 10 minutes walking distance from a big grocery store, no restaurant close by, but owners offered transportations to restaurants.
Owners live in the property.
Will recommend property if you are looking for a relax quite area

we really enjoy the area and also the wonderful facilities and couple who own the property. Serafim is very helpful as is his wife Itzel. We recommend staying here for a relaxing and fun stay in Playa Del Carmen. A special thanks for their rides to and from Cancun. That really starts and ends the trip in the best way.

This B&B was fine to shower and rest our heads during a one night stay before heading to the airport in Cancun. Our bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water and pressure. Breakfast was made to order and also lovely. The staff were attentive and professional. On the downside, the property and pool looked a little worn and the neighborhood did not seem the safest. All of the properties in this neighborhood have electrified walls and security cameras pointed at the street to keep out burglars and the host insisted that we park in front of the cameras. Our small room was very comfortable although the second bed was quite small for our two children. Also a heads up that Google maps may try to take you down a dirt track to get there, you must enter from the main highway by the Chinese restaurant - we circled a bit trying to find it. Overall, I wasn't unhappy with the stay but if I was heading back to Playa del Carmen I probably would seek a bigger room for our family.

We could not have been happier with this lovely bed and breakfast! The value was AMAZING!!! The made to order breakfast was AWESOME!!!! Yum!!! (6 entree options — pancakes , Belgium waffles, scrambled eggs or an omelet made to order, chilaquiles, 3 cheese molletes, or ham and cheese sandwich). The hosts were SPECTACULAR!!!!!! The beds were comfortable and the rooms and common areas were v clean!!! The hosts even provide two FREE rides a day! They brought us shopping and to restaurants!!! They accommodated every request - extra blanket , towel , etc. If you want to meet the kindest, sweetest young family and have a comfortable, quiet place to stay at an unbelievable value , look no more. This is your place!!! It’s very small but it certainly lives up to its name. It is a hidden gem!!! Just thinking of the hosts makes me smile. As an added bonus while you enjoy sunshine in the courtyard the tiniest , sweetest cat (Cherry) might let you pet her. Her purr melted my heart. I can’t imagine a better value exists in the area

My partner and I stayed for one week at Casa Gem and we couldn't have made a better choice. The room was very clean, the breakfast delicious (must try the chilaquiles!) and the hosts, Itzel and Serafin, always there to help. The place is a bit outside of the central area, but that was not a problem at all since we had a shuttle twice a day (to go and come back). Plus, the area is very quiet and we got to rest very well. If you want to explore the surroundings, renting a car is the best option, which is what we did and we could move around easily. Itzel and Serafin were always kind to help us with advice for what to see and where to eat, as well as accommodating us in general. If we ever return, we will definitely stay here again. We will recommend it to all our friends. :) Thanks again Itzel and Serafin for everything! We had a lovely lovely time there. Bianca and Luis
