Hotel berhampiran Gran Chaparral, Playa del Ingles

Stayed here for a sunshine break after Christmas for a week which included New Years. The hotel has been recently renovated and we had a junior suite on the first floor. The reception staff, and all staff are really welcoming and friendly. The hotel feels modern and clean. The reception and pool area are relaxing and chic. We were bed and breakfast. The morning food on offer was good, standard breakfast fair. There was an omelette station which did nice fried ham and cheese sandwiches. There were a couple of items missing (apple juice / hash browns) but the fact you could drink fizzy wine with your breakfast made up for that. The other plus was the timings. Breakfast was from 7:30 - 11:30 and no one was checking us in. So you could have had two sittings if you wanted. A nice bonus. The maid service was great. Our room had a balcony with lounges on which got the sun all afternoon. Rooms had fridge / TV and everything you would expect from a four star. The hotel was near the yumbo (5min walk) and lots of nice restaurants. Head away from the centre and near Burger King there were lovely Chinese and tapas restaurants. The only negative is the proximity to the Axel Beach hotel next door. This is a ‘vibe friendly’ hotel. On both Saturday and Sunday they had a DJ from 12-6. The decks were adjacent to the pool area at this hotel. The music was horrendously loud. Noise cancelling headphones could not block it out. I couldn’t read or listen to my podcast. Even inside with the doors shut you could hear it. Now I am no prude or party pooper but this was club music with an ear splitting beat which isn’t nice for relaxing in the afternoons. I complained to reception (as half the hotel did) but they said as it was day noise they couldn’t do anything. I feel bad writing this as it’s not this hotels fault, but it did ruin two pool afternoons of a 7 day holiday so I have to mention it. We did shopping a Mogan Mall and visited the Dunes but other than that we came to relax. I had a blast it was great to spend new year celebrating at the Yumbo. This hotel has lots to offer. But be prepared for weekend noise in the day time if you do book.

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado y con todos los servicios. El trato del personal es de 10, me atendió Kevin a la entrada y me solucionó sin problemas un incidente que tuve. La piscina está genial, y el ambiente que se forma en ella también.

My partner and I went to this hotel in October 2024 and it was my first experience of an all-inclusive resort. We’ve booked for a three night long weekend. On our arrival at the hotel we were signed in and given our room passes with the brief explanation of timings, towels for the pool, entertainment and food provision, et cetera. We made our way up to the room and were happy to see that the room itself was clean and freshly decorated with new mattress and fresh bedding. The bathroom area was clean and tidy and the balcony was also in good order. The mini fridge had complimentary bottles of water And the air conditioning was fully working and just as cold as you needed it to go. As a newcomer to all inclusive, I very much made the most of the food and drink on offer! The breakfast available included a hot cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, pastries and a vast array of juices. Lunch consisted of a large buffet offering including hot and cold options are plenty. There was also a couple of deer stations with at least 20 to 30 different small desserts on offer, very dangerous! The evening meal was impressive with a number of hot and cold options. Every single item that I tried was hot, fresh and very tasty. The provision of free drinks included still and sparkling water, selection of fizzy pop, red, white and rosé wine and cruzcampo beer. In addition to this, the were smaller food stations near the main pool and another up near the family pool with the same free drinks and staff on hand for all other drinks. The staff were brilliant and helped with absolutely any request. The entertainment team finding things for people to do in the swimming pools including paddleboard, yoga and in pool keep fit were great fun. We didn’t do much in terms of the nighttime entertainment other than listen to some karaoke and watch a flamenco dancer, but these are also great fun. The pool areas are beautifully clean along with the sun lounges and plenty of towels. There is a royal level which is Only and includes a separate pool and à la carte restaurant and accommodation block. We didn’t go with this due to the fact that we were travelling in October during school term time and I don’t think we missed out at all by doing so. Everything about this hotel was outstanding and I would gladly stay here againand I’m actively looking at other hotels in the chain for different destinations. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute holiday for my partner and myself. We had read a lot of reviews and almost did not book because of them. However, I’m not sure where most of these complaints are coming from. As far as noise, we didn’t experience that at all. We could hear the Yomba center slightly, but if we closed our balcony door, we could not hear a thing. We had the apartment with the kitchen and it worked out fine. The place does appear to be a little tired, but they are closing this next month for refurbishment. The bedroom was a bit tight but comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff was all very friendly. Bottom line I would say the place was basic, but had everything we needed for the price.

Loved the hotel. The staff were always really friendly and super helpful. The hotel and grounds always clean and tidy, and there were plenty of areas to relax around the pool. Breakfast was delicious, and the view from 360-degree restaurant and bar was amazing. Really can't fault the hotel in anyway. We had a problem with the tv in our room but reported it via the hotel app, and it was fixed within the hour. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. If we return to Gran Canaria, we will be staying here.

Really big rooms, very spacious and a nice cute small hotel with nice staff and good review. Good overall was good and different every night, could have maybe done a wider breakfast menu. The entertainment team was hit and miss. Aircon was weak so took 6 hours for the room to cool down, although they leave it on for you after check in thankfully so stayed at a decent temperature after check in. Sometimes issues with food temperature, and some of the serving staff a bit slow when waiting for cooked live items. However overall food was good. The main issue with the hotel is the sunbeds. They make a big fuss about not reserving them but there literally all always reserved and you end up way to the side or in the shade. The ones by the pool are comfy but the other ones are very lumpy. The hotel facilities don’t seem to be big enough for how many people there is. Not enough sun beds, luggage room full, can’t accom date late check out. However all in all the staff work hard and are polite, facilities are good and it’s got a nice communal feel and everything is laid out for easy use.

It's 15 min far from Yumbo centre but is ok. Enjoyed my stay there, although the complex is more for families with kids, but if you're solo is nice to have families and kids around to not get bored.

Gebucht war ein Standard-Doppelzimmer mit Blick auf die Berge mit 4 Übernachtungen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Ausstattung im Schlafbereich renovierungsbedürftig, das Badezimmer sauber und zweckdienlich. Auf dem Balkon (5 Etage) herrschte aufgrund der Nähe zur Straße ein gewisser Geräuschpegel welcher sich nach dem verschließen der Balkontür aber im Zimmer nicht wiederspiegelt. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) war warm und lecker. Die Auswahl an Speisen mehr als ausreichend. Den Poolbereich habe ich nicht benutzt war aber vom optischen Eindruck sehr gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut da man in nur wenige Minuten fußläufig den Strand erreichen kann. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind alle Richtungen schnell und einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Weitere Ausstattung (Fitness, Friseur, Fahrradverleih ect.) waren wie beschrieben vorhanden wurden aber von mir nicht genutzt. Ein Transfer vom bzw zum Flughafen sollte vorher rechtzeitig seperat über die Webseite des Hotels gebucht werden. Eine Buchung an der Rezeption ist nicht möglich.
