Stayed here for a sunshine break after Christmas for a week which included New Years. The hotel has been recently renovated and we had a junior suite on the first floor. The reception staff, and all staff are really welcoming and friendly. The hotel feels modern and clean. The reception and pool area are relaxing and chic. We were bed and breakfast. The morning food on offer was good, standard breakfast fair. There was an omelette station which did nice fried ham and cheese sandwiches. There were a couple of items missing (apple juice / hash browns) but the fact you could drink fizzy wine with your breakfast made up for that. The other plus was the timings. Breakfast was from 7:30 - 11:30 and no one was checking us in. So you could have had two sittings if you wanted. A nice bonus. The maid service was great. Our room had a balcony with lounges on which got the sun all afternoon. Rooms had fridge / TV and everything you would expect from a four star. The hotel was near the yumbo (5min walk) and lots of nice restaurants. Head away from the centre and near Burger King there were lovely Chinese and tapas restaurants. The only negative is the proximity to the Axel Beach hotel next door. This is a ‘vibe friendly’ hotel. On both Saturday and Sunday they had a DJ from 12-6. The decks were adjacent to the pool area at this hotel. The music was horrendously loud. Noise cancelling headphones could not block it out. I couldn’t read or listen to my podcast. Even inside with the doors shut you could hear it. Now I am no prude or party pooper but this was club music with an ear splitting beat which isn’t nice for relaxing in the afternoons. I complained to reception (as half the hotel did) but they said as it was day noise they couldn’t do anything. I feel bad writing this as it’s not this hotels fault, but it did ruin two pool afternoons of a 7 day holiday so I have to mention it. We did shopping a Mogan Mall and visited the Dunes but other than that we came to relax. I had a blast it was great to spend new year celebrating at the Yumbo. This hotel has lots to offer. But be prepared for weekend noise in the day time if you do book.

First visit to The Hotel Neptuno, Playa del Ingles. It will not be my last . An excellent location across from the Yumbo Centre. I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door with the greeting from the Bellman and the receptionist. Quick and efficient check in procedure which included a free glass of sparkling wine, A nice touch on a warm day. The room was kept spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed , large tv and small fridge to keep cold drinks in. I had a fourth floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea in the distance. I was on a half board basis and ate in the hotel restaurant every day . I found that there was an excellent choice of food on offer and had no difficult in finding plenty of tasty food to eat. Undoubtedly the main asset of this Hotel is its friendly and welcoming staff . From reception to bar and restaurant staff, room maids all would greet you with a smile . One person in particular sold ou and that was Maria the restaurant hostess, she would always greet you with a smile and conversation , she really enjoyed her job and it showed . This was my first visit to the hotel it will not be my last Ken Stewart, Scotland

Really big rooms, very spacious and a nice cute small hotel with nice staff and good review. Good overall was good and different every night, could have maybe done a wider breakfast menu. The entertainment team was hit and miss. Aircon was weak so took 6 hours for the room to cool down, although they leave it on for you after check in thankfully so stayed at a decent temperature after check in. Sometimes issues with food temperature, and some of the serving staff a bit slow when waiting for cooked live items. However overall food was good. The main issue with the hotel is the sunbeds. They make a big fuss about not reserving them but there literally all always reserved and you end up way to the side or in the shade. The ones by the pool are comfy but the other ones are very lumpy. The hotel facilities don’t seem to be big enough for how many people there is. Not enough sun beds, luggage room full, can’t accom date late check out. However all in all the staff work hard and are polite, facilities are good and it’s got a nice communal feel and everything is laid out for easy use.

Just back from a week with my partner and our 2 young kids and will not be staying here again. All of us fell ill over the course of the holiday with our 2 kids both being sick. This hotel should not be classed as a 4 star; it is a 3 star at best and after what happened on our holiday, thats being generous I’m afraid. Hotel Main areas of the hotel such as the lobby, reception and restaurant are modern and kept clean. Looks like these areas have been renovated in recent years and therefore have no complaints over these areas. They are just as nice as other hotels we have stayed at recently. The hotel has 2 small shops that had everything we needed such as bottles of water, snacks for the room and toys for the kids to play with at the pool. There is also 2 arcades which provide good entertainment for the kids. The entertainment at night was ok. Can’t really go wrong with a mini disco for the kids however the entertainment afterwards was average, a few singers and some dancers was all that was on during our stay. Rooms We stayed in a family room with our 2 boys (aged 1 and 4). Overall the rooms are spacious with a decent sized bathroom. There are no baths in the family rooms but we were already aware of this and didn’t mind, however others may not be aware. Family rooms also come with a small tent for the kids to play in which was a nice touch. The WiFi in our room on the 3rd floor was pretty poor however this wasn’t a big deal as we were on a family holiday so weren’t needing to be on our phones. WiFi around other areas including the pools worked fine with no issues. Food and Drink The food is not good. Despite being advertised as a family friendly hotel the food options for young children in the buffet are really poor. There is pizza, chips and pasta however there was never any meat options catered for children. The buffet did have pork, beef and a lot of fish options however there was never something simple like chicken nuggets for young kids. I did notice some families had plates of food from the snack bar for their kids but not ideal having to go to a separate area to get this, and the quality as mentioned below also wasn’t good. The food was often lukewarm. I know it’s a buffet and therefore can be expected that it will cool over time however the staff should be replacing this with freshly cooked food, especially the meat. The other reviews here suggesting there is a microwave to heat up food are delusional! Why on earth should you have to reheat your own food at a 4 star hotel. There is a bbq outside at the buffet however the one night we did use this, we were served raw chicken as was the person in front. Whilst the manager supervising the area did apologise and get fresh plates and chicken, there are several reviews about raw meat so it clearly isn’t a one off and a bigger issue with staff competency. The snack bar is even worse. Food will sit out for hours at a time to the point it is cold. Burger buns are hard because they’ve b

My partner and I went to this hotel in October 2024 and it was my first experience of an all-inclusive resort. We’ve booked for a three night long weekend. On our arrival at the hotel we were signed in and given our room passes with the brief explanation of timings, towels for the pool, entertainment and food provision, et cetera. We made our way up to the room and were happy to see that the room itself was clean and freshly decorated with new mattress and fresh bedding. The bathroom area was clean and tidy and the balcony was also in good order. The mini fridge had complimentary bottles of water And the air conditioning was fully working and just as cold as you needed it to go. As a newcomer to all inclusive, I very much made the most of the food and drink on offer! The breakfast available included a hot cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, pastries and a vast array of juices. Lunch consisted of a large buffet offering including hot and cold options are plenty. There was also a couple of deer stations with at least 20 to 30 different small desserts on offer, very dangerous! The evening meal was impressive with a number of hot and cold options. Every single item that I tried was hot, fresh and very tasty. The provision of free drinks included still and sparkling water, selection of fizzy pop, red, white and rosé wine and cruzcampo beer. In addition to this, the were smaller food stations near the main pool and another up near the family pool with the same free drinks and staff on hand for all other drinks. The staff were brilliant and helped with absolutely any request. The entertainment team finding things for people to do in the swimming pools including paddleboard, yoga and in pool keep fit were great fun. We didn’t do much in terms of the nighttime entertainment other than listen to some karaoke and watch a flamenco dancer, but these are also great fun. The pool areas are beautifully clean along with the sun lounges and plenty of towels. There is a royal level which is Only and includes a separate pool and à la carte restaurant and accommodation block. We didn’t go with this due to the fact that we were travelling in October during school term time and I don’t think we missed out at all by doing so. Everything about this hotel was outstanding and I would gladly stay here againand I’m actively looking at other hotels in the chain for different destinations. Highly recommended!

I spent a wonderful 10 days at this hotel in July 2024, and highly recommend it. The rooms are very nice, hotel has all the amenities you could want, the pool area is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food - oh, the food is an absolute delight! A few highlights: the bar has high-quality entertainment almost every evening for those who don't like hitting the town at night. The beach is just a very short walk from the hotel (I nonetheless recommend walking a few minutes along the seaside to get to the less crowded areas). And there's a bike store with high-quality rental bikes in the same building as the hotel. I'd like to extend special thanks to the hotel's general manager, Mrs. Karg, who would often personally welcome guests at dinner and whose genuine warmth and friendliness made me feel extra welcome. Thank you to the entire Seaside Sandy Beach for a great vacation and many beautiful memories!

On arrival the hotel looked very impressive (It was just after Christmas) although I'm sure it looks great all the time. Reception staff efficient and friendly with glass of bubbly on arrival. Room was excellent with all bathroom essentials required supplied (we had brought our own) as first time visiting. There was a bottle of wine in the room not sure if this is normal or because it was out first visit. Food and drink was great (we had all inclusive package). The snack bar during the day serving the usual hamburgers etc. The rooftop bar (our favourite) was always well staffed who were friendly and welcoming. No complaints whatsoever - except one tiny little thing. On an all inclusive package some sort of 'snacks' crisps, nuts etc. not necessarily cooked food would have been nice on the rooftop. (these were available to buy) All in all we had a great time and will certainly have no hesitation in booking again hopefully for Easter 2025 or if not hopefully for after Christmas 2025
