It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!

Our host Mitko was such a great help and really gave valuable advice about where to go, and how to get there. The Hotel is situated within walking distance to the Old Town and all the historical sights. Our room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Mitko went above an beyond with his attention and friendliness, super and enlightening conversations. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. This is one of the nicest, most comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in. We stayed in one of the small rooms (Elegant) for 3 nights and while small, the bed was large and comfortable. Our room had a great little terrace that looked out over the street which we used every even to drink some wine and people watch. The bathroom was very clean and even better had an actual large shower, with a door that closed and did not splash water all over the floor, which is a rare and surprising luxury in Europe. The included breakfasts were delicious and had a variety of offerings including very good scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, small pasteries, etc., along with the usual cold meats and cheeses, yogurt and cereal that most hotels offer. The staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly, and they gave us a nice little tour of the Roman bath that was discovered during construction, which added to the charm and ambiance of the hotel. The location is excellent and very walkable. There is a private parking lot, but we ended up not using it since we only rented a car for one day. Our only complaint was the room got kind of stuffy at night, but we could not use the air-conditioning because the central system was set to heat (it was late October) and they could not switch on the A/C to one room. We did open the window to ventilate the room, but closed it while sleeping due to the proximity to the street noise and vehicle exhaust (not the hotel's problem, Plovdiv would be well served to limit vehicular traffic in this area). Overall, a fantastic hotel with incredible staff and a great value!

We stayed here 5 nights. As Diamond members. we were upgraded before our arrival to an awesome suite, which was greatly appreciated. We found everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This hotel is particularly well designed, with high end finishes, great showers and comfortable beds. The A/C worked perfectly and the room stayed cool during really hot weather...we only had to turn it on occasionally. The rooms are very well laid out. Our one bedroom suite had two full bathrooms, providing a fantastic level of comfort. The breakfast was great. We are plant-based and healthy eaters and both of us were very happy with the great selection of fruit, salad, olives, wonderful olive tapenade, breads and other fresh options. The hotel is perfectly located with the old town an easy walk away. There's also great grocery stores and a DM very close by as well. For me this was the rare flawless stay. I did not expect that in Bulgaria....great job by the team here. :)

The stay in Trimonzium Wyndham Plovdiv Hotel was enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. The location is very good. The city is wonderful. I’ be back.

We travelled here in April 2024 and stayed at the hotel for two nights. Upon arrival our room was not ready however we were able to leave our bags to go and explore the city. We were greeted at the hotel by Vladimir who was front of house manager. He’s beaming smile made him super approachable to ask questions about places to visit and tips for restaurants bars in the local area. Vladimir was more than happy to help and provide Above & Beyond recommendations of craft places and restaurants that we would find appealing. H is in a great location within walking distance to the main attractions but out of the way enough to feel secluded and quiet. Great amenities within the hotel such as the bar area which was open most nights when we came home fairly late! Rooms were nice and spacious in fact probably the biggest hotel rooms I have seen the Radisson do. The little gem in this hotel Hass to be the spa free for guests to use and treatments are available at what I would consider to be very reasonable prices for example I had a 80 minute exfoliation and massage which worked out around £65 something you definitely would not get in the UK, have to do a big shout out to our masseuse Saiska who provided an absolutely amazing massage and exfoliation truly one of the best I have ever had. The whole spa is well equipped with hot tub sauna steam room and relaxation areas. Definitely a welcome retreat after a long day to explore the city. We genuinely loved our stay not only in this hotel but also in Plovdiv as a whole. 100% if I ever came back, this hotel would be booked without hesitation.

We held two days of business meetings under excellent conditions. Perfect organization by the hotel management team! Spacious 5-star rooms. Wonderful views of the neighboring park and the Olympic rowing base of Plovdiv. A cozy atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Special thanks also to the chef for the wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Rich and varied breakfast. A cool place in the July heat. I highly recommend! Moreover, in my experience as a Hotel Expert level 16 on TripAdvisor, I rarely come across a hotel that deserves more stars than it presents.
