The renovated rooms are really nice. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area needs to be renovated too. The spa facilities and the pool were nice but not for relaxation of the hotel guests because on Saturday morning there were swiimming teams of children taking swimming lessons -too much crowd and noise. The location is really convenient. There was a problem with the room type i had chosen but the hotel staff and the trip.com stuff helped me to solve this within an hour and we got the right room. Overall a nice experience.

Very angry, not polite, not correct and not friendly manager on the reception. I felt unthinkable rudeness here, disrespectful attitude towards guests. For other staff no questions, only the administrator had terrible behavior.
Let's hope that someday the administrator will know and feel the humiliating attitude towards himself personally.
Perhaps she will be in future a good person, but there are strong doubts about this.
Never, never will back to this hotel!

酒店超大，有**泳池健身室，不過有點舊，還是用緊插卡的形式。門卡成日都感應唔到。去健身房都要俾錢。
服務員都比較高傲，沒太多笑容也不太樂意服務。
早餐唔錯。

The Grand Hotel Plovdiv was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the buffet breakfast was great! The locations is practical as the hotel is in walking distance of the old town. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when I am next in Plovdiv.

A wonderful stay at this hotel. Quality services, professionalism and kindness from the staff, cleanliness, modern and spacious rooms, very good breakfast. Free parking in the garage. Located in the city center near the pedestrian street and the main attractions.

Tired after a whole day walking & sightseeing, our group finally checked into this hotel. Before we enter into Room 719, the strong stench of room airfreshner is too repugnant to inhale. Our Room facing the river, is simple , nice and clean, there is no closet, only clothes hook on wooden panel, insufficient wall plugs for our conveniences , but not an issue as we are staying for a night. Bathroom well equipped with amenities . By the bathtub , it has a safety Panic Cord for guest to pull in case of Emergency There is coffee/tea set up but no complimentary drinking water. Dinner is preset for us in the dining room, food is good, service is fast. Breakfast buffet spread has good choices of hot & cold food. We did not have chance to enjoy many of its faciities, especially the hotel ******, spa & massage as well as its night club. Nevertheless it is worth recommending !!
