Staying in the Alii Penthouse is a fabulous experience. The condo is lovely, and the view is spectacular. The complex is very well maintained and the staff is super friendly. This is a quiet condo complex, away from the hustle bustle of Poipu Beach. I highly recommend it!!!

We didn't get one last night but this was from the night before. Show quoted text We had an amazing time. We are going to miss the sound of the ocean so much. We loved the condo. The peaceful atmosphere was key for us. We like quiet and peace. The evenings were quiet, noise from other guests was never an issue. The pool was never crowded in the day or evening when we went. We found our way to Baby Beach, so nice and so close. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ida knew who I was as soon as I walked in for check in! Access to Beach chairs and towels were a plus. We know that we want to come back to Kuai one day and Whalers Cove would be our choice! Thanks again!! Jen

My wife and I traveled down to Kauai for our Honeymoon and Whalers Cove was the perfect place. Not only was the staff incredible, the location, in my opinion, is the best spot on the island. When I say right on the water, I mean it, not a short walk, literally overlooking. Waking up to waves every morning and falling asleep to at night. South part of the island was by far our favorite spot. Recommend getting a rental car just so you can see the rest but really only need it for a couple days. Walking distance from best restaurant, shops, etc. Smaller, less crowded beaches close by. Very relaxing, chill area. We will be going back for years ahead.

Everything was fantastic. Staff was wonderful. The beach chairs and towels available for our stay were great for nearby Poipu beach as well as the use of available swim masks and snorkels. The view from our room was fantastic and very private. Room was tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork. We would absolutely stay there again.

I stayed here a couple years ago and would love to go back. The condos are amazingly beautiful and the staff go above and beyond. There is no better place to relax and find your inner peace. You can snorkle with turtles right outside the resort! Can not wait to go back.

Views are world class . Accommodations have full kitchen, sectional couch, dining room 2 huge bedrooms. We are a family of 4 and its was spacious and felt like home. The Pool was my kids favourite and we spent hours out there every evening, turtles swim on the shore line and the water is deep blue and out of a postcard . We loved that we could visit many beaches, restaurants and the kids loved the Shaved Ice . Can’t wait to get back . Kauai is calling already!

Really where to begin…Whalers Cove was what we needed. If you need to get away from everything that causes you stress, this is the place to go. This place will calm you with its beauty and ocean breeze and so perfectly located your every need is met. Wonderful restaurants and fun little shopping areas if you want or you can hide away, get some groceries and a good book and never see anyone. The pool is beautiful and never crowded, the condos are extremely clean and welcoming. The lush landscape is impeccable. We come back every chance we get.

This is the best place to stay in Kauai. Oceanfront, easy access to great beaches, great restaurants, and shops, a magnificent pool and a lawn for the kids to horse around. We stayed in Unit 124, which was in beautiful shape. We had to split up our two young kids between the two bedrooms so they wouldn't wake each other up, but there was plenty of room for my husband and me to crash in the living room, and the view was incredible. Can't wait to go back and take the master for ourselves!!

We loved Whalers Cove and unit 136 was precisely as described - amazing views, great bedrooms, new bathroom, and a dated kitchen. Just loved the vibe, the people we met, including the staff, and the whole experience -- the beach chairs were key. They do a great job and provide an upscale, comfortable experience with understated style at a reasonable price. The bedroom windows and pounding surf and wind were big highlights. We will return someday and recommend to others.
