Wolf Cove Inn

Wolf Cove was the perfect hideaway off the beaten path but convenient to the highway and a quick getaway from our southern Maine tourist boom. The sweeping views of Tripp Lake are calm and peaceful, making the experience that much more beautiful in itself. Our sourdough crusted pizza and farmers salad dinner in the boathouse was hard to be beat, and had we more time we would’ve been all over the outdoor spa sanctuary with sauna and cold plunge. After a great nights sleep, a perfect breakfast was waiting for us and some more blissful time spent basking in the sun before heading to nearby Pineland Farms for activities. As a lifelong Mainer, Wolf Cove Inn of 2024 is the perfect escape, welcoming all, and gives an upscale yet quintessential lakeside Maine experience. Run don’t walk!

We are from RI, my daughter & I came up this way to attend a wake. I booked 2 nights in the Acadia Suite at Wolf Cove Inn - as it a much nicer option than hotels in the area (and was close to where the service was being held ). First off, great communication from the owners of the Inn. I requested for the A/C to be set at particular temp prior to our arrival & Nicole lmk that her husband did that right away. They asked what our ETA was but we ended up arriving later than planned. I was pleasantly surprised that the pullout bed was already set up & made. It was quite comfortable ! I opted to have breakfast in our room as my daughter had to start her remote work early. The wi-fi worked well, no issues with a 7am online meeting with peep in Australia ! Breakfast was yummy - loved Geoff knocking on the door saying “It’s the Innkeeper”. Honestly, the entire experience reminded me of a Hallmark movie. I hope to visit again soon.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Wolf Cove Inn last August (Just realized that I hadn't reviewed at the time.) We booked the Winter Harbor Room which was fantastic. It's really a suite, with a separate bedroom and sitting room. The owners are really nice and we loved sitting by the lake in one of the many comfortable seating areas. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful inn. Our room was exceptional with a fireplace and a view of the lake from the bedroom. The staff and owners were very nice and always ready to help us with whatever we needed. There was a firepit available by the lake for a night time fire . Woke up to the smell of coffee and the breakfast was delicious. We had a really good time and would highly recommend the inn.

I was looking for a last minute getaway and Wolf Cove Inn was the perfect place. Every part of the stay was outstanding from coordinating day of room reservations to great breakfasts and pizza at night, to the outdoor sauna with a great view. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have anything you could ask for while also respecting your space. Geoff and Nicole have a pretty cool story and its a real easy trip to spend a few hours or day in Portland. Room was very clean and comfortable (10/10). Sheets and Furniture were all real good quality and very well kept. Great vibes in the common areas too - Will definitely head back soon

My wife and I booked this as part of a weekend getaway and I had some hopes of a nice relaxing weekend but didn’t expect I would find a piece of paradise in Poland Maine. As soon as we walked in the door we felt like we had come home to a long lost family and were walking in to spend the weekend with family for a reunion. The place is so full of warmth, comfort and luxury all packed in to an amazing inn with gorgeous views. All from the amazing room, to the dining room that takes you back in time to a place where inns like these were everywhere in New England, to the amazing owners and staff who makes you feel like you were always a part of their inn. We had a chance to use the sauna and cold plunge and can highly recommend both! I can honestly not wait to come back and spend another weekend here the only thing is I don’t know if I can only pick one or a season as this place has something to offer all year around

The grounds are adorable and the staff hard working to ensure your stay is top notch. AJ was fabulous as well as the massage therapists. Rooms were cozy. and food delicious. We enjoyed it very much and cannot wait to come back again!!!! Thank you.

A mix of pleasure, nature, lake activities & delicious breakfast hosted by nice and friendly people. this is the best B&B. The room was clean and very comfortable. Caught 🎣 , saw a 🦅 and relaxed by the fire and playing games at the living room. Even our dog had a great time too. Everyone was very nice taking care of our stay. Oh and the reception had a nice touch with a complementary glass of wine and beer after a long drive. Definitely we will be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wolf Cove Inn. We drove up from Massachusetts and stayed overnight before skiing at Sunday River. It was clean, comfortable and breakfast was super yummy (with great views). We’ll definitely be back to spend more time.
