Food and location very good. Breakfast had many options including sri lankan varieties and bakery products. Family room was spacious. Our room has no balcony and we were not happy about scenery through the windows. Swimming pool is big and good. But cleanliness need to be improved specially bathrooms.⁷

We had a very great and pleasant stay for two nights in the habarana cinnamon lodge. Our room was really nice and comfortable. We enjoyed great breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and were completely surrounded by the gentle and friendly stuff. Especially from Aksana… he was attentive and polite! Thank you for making our vacation great!

Tuve una experiencia nefasta. Lo más grave en mi opinión fue que En el check out trataron de que pagáramos un 3.5% más por usar la visa. El desayuno lo pedimos a las 7 am para poder ascender a la Roca del León sin tanto calor, y nos lo sirvieron a las 7.50, teniendonos alla 50 minutos esperando. A la llegada, nos dijeron que el chico que hacía el check in se había ido al pueblo y no llegaría hasta dentro de un rato y nos tuvieron ahí depie plantados 20 minutos Los precios, para el hotel que es, los tienen desorbitados, zumos a 1000 rupias o el desayuno que lo cobran a precio de hotel 4 estrellas con el pésimo servicio. El suelo de la habitación resbala muchísimo, no puedes ir sin zapatos. La piscina rodeada de un estanque que te saltan las ranas a la piscina y con vistas a una antena de telefonía horrible. A la habitación le falta un punto o dos de limpieza, habían heces pequeñas de algún animal por la habitación y manchas en ñas sábanas. No lo recomiendo para nada.

This old but beautifully restored and maintained Guest House is extremely nicely located by and indeed above Polonnaruwa's large wewa. It has few rooms, ours had access to the garden and dining room nearby. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable, with all amenities one would expect in a 4-5 star establishment. We were welcomed most friendly and efficiently, the service throughout our two-night stay was impeccable, considerate and generous. The dining room is gorgeous, with lake views on almost all directions. We had an excellent dinner, rice and curry, and enjoyed it so much that we had dinner there the second evening, sampling other items on the nice but not excessively long or costly menu. Beers were available from the bar, either in a small lounge area in the dining room or outside our rooms on our private terrace. The hotel is located very well for visits to the ancient sites, being right next to the museum. We didn't use the very attractive pool. This is an exceptionally agreeable and beautiful place to stay.
