No hot water in the room when I asked fornt desk was very rude. A/C not working or they switch off in the middle of the night. It was very soffacating ***y small cockroaches in the room, when reported they say its normal there. Lot of mosquitors in the hotel. Bathroom taps and fittings are broken. Very narrow bathrooms. Towels were dirty. Poor house keeping. Doors does not lock properly. They give coupons for breakfast, which you have to eat opposite hotel which is not a good quality restaurant.

I really have to give a review for my stay here at devis grand... Proximate location, nice rooms, best service and a humble ***ager. Worth for the price and also comes with their restaurant which serves true south Indian dish.

Stayed in the month of May, we had a comfortable stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful, very close to all the shopping and sightseeing spots, all in all a memorable holiday, will definitely recommend.

Can't Believe it's TripAdvisor Choice. No Hot Water, Smelly Rooms, Absolute Terrible Stay. Poor ***agement. Mosquito Hub. Complained and the staff did nothing. We tried to change rooms but we were ignored. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. AVOID.

Devis Grand is located in heart of Pondicherry and closer to all the Sightseeing places , The hotel is very with good large rooms and the food is extremely good. We were a group of 16 and the check in was very prompt and Mr Chakravarthy the ***ager of Devis Grand is extremely very co- operative and had taken special care towards the group. Would jot recommend this hotel.Do jot go by the reviews over youtube or google. First this is mentioned as 4 star hotel on google but it is two star hotel. The place gives you a shady vibe. This place has got old and staff tries thier best to maintain it I booked a delux suite its totally not worth the price I paid. Also could see cockroaches. Overall I would say you can avoid this hotel. The staff was very polite though.

We a group of 6 people went to Pondicherry. We stayed in this hotel for 1 day. The staff is very supportive they understand your problem. We wanted early check-in sa they give us 1 room early to keep our luggage and freshen up and other room from 12 pm. They kept our luggage for few ours even after checkout. The staff knows and communicates very well in English. The rooms are very good for price they are clean, well lit and spacious. Some rooms has bit small bathroom as compared to other rooms in hotel. Room service was also good Overall it was very pleasant stay at the hotel.

We stayed for couple of days in Devi's Grand hotel, which is at the art of the city centre and all locations are very accessible from location. Room is spacious with good amenities and more importantly the hospitality of hotel is superb and all the staff are friendly in nature and food in the hotel was also good

Very nice hotel, we had a great time. Service was nice and staff was really good. Food and bar were also very nice. Helped me alot with late bus problem. They gave us one room after check out to keep our luggage safely
