Hotel Pontevedra Province dengan Spa

Estuvimos este pasado fin de semana en la zona con motivo de un torneo de fútbol. El hotel está impecable, el trato es inmejorable, desayuno muy bueno y la situación del mismo ideal para conocer la zona. Hicimos dos noches, en la segunda de ellas tuvimos que llevar al hotel a nuestro hijo que se encontraba con su equipo en otro hotel, fue debido a que enfermo. Lo comentamos en la recepción y no nos pusieron ningún problema, todo lo contrario. Al día siguiente al abandonar el hotel quisimos pagar lo correspondiente por el niño y no nos quisieron cobrar nada, la verdad que fue un detalle que noa sorprendió para bien. Si volvemos por la zona repetiremos sin duda.

Our party of 3 adults stayed for 5 nights in July 2023, at the midpoint of a touring holiday of northwest Spain. We stayed half board, in a two-bedroom apartment in the hotel's annex. The word ”annex” may cause some anxiety, but this separate building (which has a lift) shares the same beautiful grounds and is only 2 minutes' walk from the main block. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria/bar on the ground floor of the annex, so guests in the annex feel fully part of the hotel. The apartment, and, indeed, the feel of whole hotel, was spacious and comfortable. Ample parking is available right opposite the annex, and the hotel has two 3-phase 11kW charging stations in the basement (€6 flat rate, which is a bargain, and gave us enough range to reach León). The food was excellent - both the generous breakfast buffet and the dinner, with a choice each evening of two or three alternatives for each course. The staff, who mostly spoke good English and tolerated our terrible Spanish with good grace, were uniformly friendly and helpful. The pool and gardens were delightful. A relatively compact area has been exquisitely landscaped, and never felt crowded while we were there. The hotel is about 500m from the beach, and a small supermarket is available on the campsite about 300m away. The small fishing port of O Grove is 10 minutes' drive away, and worth a visit. Within walking distance is the lookout point of Puna Moreiras, with a scultpture park, and a great place to watch the often spectacular sunsets. A coastal path leads back to the beach, so a pleasant circular walk of about 2-3km is possible. It's hard to think of any constructive criticisms of this friendly but very professionally-run hotel. Here are two: the sunloungers around the pool are heavily contoured and very comfortable in one position only. And the apartment would have benefitted from a comfy chair or two. Overall, an outstanding hotel which we would recommend without reservation.

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and understanding. They helped me out when I had a dental emergency by recommending a dentist just down the street! Thanks to them I was able to continue my trip and enjoy eating again! Their breakfast buffet was outstanding with fresh croissants, cheeses and yogurt, fruits, flan and more. Thank you to the hotel staff and Juan, the owner, for resolving my situation not to mention the dentist!!!

I really enjoyed this place, it was beyond my expectations. The location is really beautiful, nested between the mountain and the coastline in a gorgeous setting. The establishment doesn´t have the swanky atmosphere of others but a rather casual and relaxed vibe. The facitilies are clean and well kept. My room had a nice balcony facing the sea and the views were fantastic. Simple decor and good beds. My reservation included access to the spa. Although it´s not brand new, its rather big, and there are lots of jets and so on. Jets are strong and the water temperature was really ok. The only downside is that your stay is limited, in order to allow other clients come and use the facility. One of the strong points here is food, not only the breakfast -even the orange juice- was very good, the restaurant service was fantastic, which is an important factor if you plan to go on a half-board regime, as the hotel is located by the road: there are some towns around, but you need to go there by car. Food was abundant, well cooked and presented and soft-flavoured. There´s also a beautiful terrace, ideal to enjoy the sunset views as you have a drink with your friends. Nice and efficient staff.

Pluses We stayed a wonderful four weeks in this lovely hotel from late July to late August 2022 , using it as a home base for extensive travel around western Galicia. Staff were very responsive and helpful. No request was too much trouble for them. Excellent estuary views on the side facing the ria and partial estuary views on side facing car park. Good, varied breakfast available. Attractive bar with light meals inside facing car park at back of hotel. Main restaurant and Bistro face the ria. Rooms comfortable and pleasant with excellent views from 'internal' glazed balcony with wall-to-wall picture windows. Outdoor pool area facing the ria was well tended with different seating areas. It opens late and closes late by UK standards as it stays light until late in this part of Spain. Bar service available round the pool. Generally, cleaning was good throughout. Staff wore masks. Minus Indoor Spa pool was payment only. I did not use ot as tge weatger was mostly very goid so used tge putdoor pool. It looked pleasant. Was not very big and every time I asked the price at the Spa reception I was told a different answer. It might have been a language problem. I could not see the price prominently displayed but perhaps it was written somewhere in Spanish. Reception had told me to ask at the Spa reception. The dining tables by the pool are for the restaurant menu only at lunchtime. No pool snacks available. However, bar service is available round the pool and there were two or three bar tables with seating next to the ria. Personally, I wore a mask in the breakfast room when not eating. Very few people did so aart from tge staff. I would have liked to see more bottles of alcogel around and disposable gloves to wear at the buffet for handling implements. Everytime I took something from the buffet I popped out to use alcogel or wash my hands before eating. There was no real outdoor area to take breakfast so I opened one of the picture windows a little near me each time to get some fresh air. This contrasted with the situation at the Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki where we had stayed recently and where there was a bottle of alcogel on each table and guests had to wear masks and disposable gloves at the buffet.

The best hotel I could recommend I would say it’s a 5⭐️ for me. The room the location perfect and great service I would recommend to everyone that want to visit Vigo should book this hotel See the hotel photos I have uploaded

Lugar ideal para descansar Un lugar precioso En medio de la nada Pero retiro único

No es la primera vez que me hospedo con mi pareja en este hotel, ni será la última vez, porque está muy céntrico y por lo que detallo a continuación; 1. La atención por parte del personal ha sido fantástica. 2. He reservado a través de booking y me han mejorado la habitación porque no tendrían disponible una habitación como la solicitada en esos momentos y nos han asignado la suite al mismo precio, todo un detalle. Es una habitación muy cómoda y muy amplia. 3. El hotel estaba muy limpio y no se escuchaban ruidos. 4. El desayuno muy bueno, de muy buena calidad. Volveremos seguro! 🤗

Stayed at this lovely beachfront hotel for 5 nights with my family in 2 double ”Baltar” rooms with terrace and sea view. Although rooms were not sold as sea view probably as the view was a little obstructed by the very quaint roof of an adjacent house which only added to the charm we felt. Very comfortable beds with the best pillows I've ever experienced in a hotel. Lots of storage space with a full wall of sliding wardrobes and some drawers however I would have liked the dressing table/desk to have had some drawers so all items need not have been left on top. Very nice bathroom with separate shower plus full bath with above bath shower also. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. We thought perhaps as we were English speaking this would have been an issue but practically all reception and dining room staff had enough english to communicate well enough. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever experienced with so much choice of hot and cold dishes, breads, cereals, fruits, cakes etc, the selection was most extensive and once we got the hang of the coffee and hot water dispensing machine we savoured each of our seaview breakfasts. The dinner/lunch menu was very good also and the quality of food and service was excellent. The maitre'd and staff were most helpful and went to great lengths to translate a children's menu for our son. The view from the dining room is spectacular especially at night and incorporates a lovely terrace area for pre dinner drinks. The indoor pool/thalaso spa is fabulous with a big area dedicated to all types of jets and jacuzzi areas. There is also a great thermal area with saunas, steam room and various types of showers plus my favourite, heated loungers. Grand Talaso Hotel is definitely in our top 5 of hotels and Sanxenxo is well worth a visit with its beautiful beach and marina area with lots of cute shops and restaurants. We would like to return some day.
