Super 8 by Wyndham Poplar Bluff Missouri

I arrived around 11:30pm front desk person was nice processing the reservation. The door to the room had to be jiggled in order for the lock to catch. Bathroom fixtures were broken or not there. Bedspread was stained, dirty. I believe the room has bed bugs...bites all over body. My eye was bitten n swelled up so much i could not open. I left at 6am...i paid over $60 for 5hrs of being bitten. Very disappointed.

It’s a two story building, no rooms on the first floor is used (don’t know why, no one was there at the hotel) no elevator, and no handicap rooms, ramps, or door openers.

I cannot tell you how many times in the last 5 years we have stayed in this motel. In the last couple of years the rooms are being renovated. There was no stopper in the tub; we had to stick a washrag in to take a bath. The computer chair had most of the finish rubbed off.

I was disappointed about the TV. It brought up a screen about the wifi. I was not able to scroll through it to get to the TV stations. I tried several time without results.

I have pics. It’s a sad place. My 3rd super8 in 3 days. The other two were great! This place is NOT a place I would recommend.

No hot water. No toilt paper in room. Dirty towel hanging from shower. Stained sheets. Just a horrible place. Very messy.

Although they appeared to be under renovations, our room had already been renovated and it was still nasty. Dirty rag on bathroom sink, food on the floor, brown stains on wall and baseboard in bathroom, literal trash down all hallways, hair on the sheets that weren't ours and the list continues. The only pro was the lady at the front desk was nice.

The mattress was one ofthe most comfortable I've ever slept on. The staff very nice, especially Leeman. Breakfast not the best but filling. They are remodeling and will be done in December so it was a bit messy. Room 213 not cleaned well.

Rooms were plain but clean. Renovations going on so it is improving. Decent complimentary breakfast.
