Zafiro Palace Alcudia

Just returned from our first family holiday, I would highly recommend here for families we could not fault it lots of activities and 3 pools to choose from. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach and to the local restaurant’s. All staff on reception, at the bar, poolside, restaurants and the house keeping were all fantastic and great with our children!! Really wish I took a few names down as they need a special mention main one being our housekeeper she was so lovely!! My son turned 5 whilst we stayed everyone made a fuss of him, cake, sang happy birthday and even got a birthday “cocktail” overall experience was fantastic! We hope to return in the future

Just back from a five night stay here, we really enjoyed our break at this lovely hotel our room was spotless clean, bright and spacious , on arriving late the hotel left out for us a selection of fresh sandwiches fruit and wine. The food was excellent fresh hot and great variety, the hotel was busy but never felt overly crowded. Staff could not do enough to help very friendly. Our children really enjoyed the splash pool. My only small criticism is I don’t fell there is enough sunbeds, lots of people reserve them.

We stayed at this hotel with our family. 6yr old and 3 yr old. We wouldn't say this is a 5star hotel it is a 4 , 4+ at best. We arrived late on a Friday evening to find that they hadn't even made the bed up in our room for the children to sleep. The towels in the room are poor quality and numerous times we had towels with holes and dirt on them. Same as the linen for the beds, it had holes in it. The bathroom smelt of urine and the sink smelt of sewage. They did move us after we complained of the smell. The entertainment in the evening is poor so it is lucky that there is the town near by to walk too. When booking excursions do your research and go down to the port before hand to choose. We were recommended by the hotel to do the cave snorkeling one but you actually spend an hr of the trip in total collecting and dropping of other passengers then it is a 25minute journey each way to get over to the cave area. We went inside one cave for a few minutes and wasn't even able to snorkle inside as it is sold and you got about 30mins in a small bay to snorkle. Don't waste your money. The restaurants are OK. There is not much choice for children though literally chicken nuggets, pasta, pizza or burgers. No vegetables. It is well located but for the price you pay you would expect more. We had to lift our own luggage in from our transfer to the hotel and there was no drink on arrival.

Ideal base and facilities for a cycling holiday. On hand mechanics and bike hire. Safe bike storage. Excellent food and friendly service

From the moment we checked in we where very well looked after all of the staff where very friendly and helpful the hotel was kept very clean the food was fantastic the market buffet offered a fantastic selection of food the other restaurants where also very good the hotel is very child friendly my son loved the kids waterpark and the environment the pools had multiple lifeguards posted around the complex we will definitely be returning

Amazing hotel! Really enjoyed our stay here. Great rooms, lovely breakfast. I’d consider going full board. Hotel is great, swim up pools looked amazing We had several outdoor pools and 3 indoor pools, spa with sauna abc steam room. A truly lovely stay. We even received a bottle of red wine in our room as a gift.

Very belated review following our trip in April 2024 - however, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Travelling with 2 adults and 2 children, both under 2; we were apprehensive! This hotel, couldn’t be more accommodating to families; the one bedroom suite was a perfect size for us, spacious with a small kitchen area with fridge; comfortable beds and pillows, spacious hotel grounds but not vast. Excellent kids club and playground right next to main buffet restaurant and kids pool with slides that couldn’t be more perfect for children - hours of fun for our toddler. The staff make this place - always going the extra mile, happy, friendly and excellent English - enjoy engaging in conversation with guests not just about taking your order and that’s it. We’ve since travelled to a “family friendly” hotel in Greece and it is nowhere near as good as Zafiro Alcudia. We will be back.

Absolutely loved every minute. The food was incredible in the a la carte restaurants. What really makes this place special is the staff, they simply cannot do enough for you. Staff were so engaging with our little girl and this really helped make the experience more memorable. Family friendly but balanced with good food and drink for adults. What doesn’t often get mentioned is how well located the hotel is for Alcúdia town, just a 5 minute walk to the resort. We will definitely return.

Once again a family holiday to remember and a desire to come back and enjoy it all again next year. We have enjoyed every minute of our precious family time at the Alacudia Palace Hotel all inclusive.
