Interpass Vau Hotel Apartamentos

We stayed 6 days at the Vau. The back of the hotel looks over a field that is undeveloped it has sheep grazing on it and it was very pleasant. The rooms are nice but the beds needs to be updated. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The refrigerator either kept things too warm or froze food. It was a convenient location to base our day trips out of.

This hotel is an absolute gem, the Staff, accommodation, location, cleanliness, friendliness and choice at breakfast is unsurpassed in my experience in the area of Praia du Vau! This is our second stay at this magnificent hotel and it won't be the last! Perfect for a little weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Just a thankyou to the wonderful friendliest staff who looked after us very well during our recent stay at the Interpass Vau Hotel last weekend. We really enjoyed our stay there, the location, the suite, cleanliness, facilities and friendliness of all of the staff made it special, not forgetting the very good breakfast included, and the staff there in the breakfast room with their smiles and welcomes. I would highly recommend this hotel to all. Looking forward to revisiting you in the future.

We visited Portugal for our first time in the middle of October. The weather was a balmy 25° pretty much all week ☀️ we were incredibly pleased with our apartment which was very spacious, had a lovely big balcony and was cleaned every day by very smiley housekeepers. The hotel reception staff were warm and friendly and answered any questions we had helpfully and with a pleasing friendliness. The bar staff were very nice too and whipped up a mean pina colada to sip by the outside pool. The facilities (outdoor, indoor pool, sauna, toilets etc) were all immaculate and we very much enjoyed lounging around the outside pool most afternoons. The prices In the bar were very fair, €4 a beer, €6 cocktails and €5/6 for a cheese toastie with fries (which was plenty!!) The local shop was a 5min walk away which had a little of everything and the beach was an easy 10min away. We went into Praia do Rocha most nights and it was around a 20min walk and was around €5 in an Uber back to the hotel late at night. Lagos is around €25 in a taxi/Uber and well worth a day out. Alvor is roughly €2 on the bus which stops just outside. A couple of things were missing from the hotel room such as a mirror in the bedroom, a chopping board in the kitchen but didn’t in anyway affect our holiday. Would liked to have had a double bed but we just pushed the 2 twin beds together (twin beds seem to be pretty standard for the Algarve from what I’ve seen) Would highly highly recommend this apartment/hotel for anyone after a quite, relaxing área to visit. Would definitely visit again around the same time of the year as it was absolute bliss being one of only around 4/5 people around the pool each day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough as all the staff were brilliant and the accommodation perfect.

Hotel fantastico. Equipe simpatica, prestativa.Instalaçoes limpas e amplas. Recepcionistas cordiais e atenciosas. Otimo quarto, otimo café da manha. . Excelente hotel. Localização perto da praia. Perfeito. Amei. Não bastasse rasgar elogios ao hotel e equipe, fui surpreendido com uma chamada telefonica deles quando já estava no Brasil. Encomendei um equipamento para entregar lá e que tive que cancelar. Mas mesmo assim o Hotel recebeu uma carta dos correios e teve a gentileza de ligar para o Brasil( apos minha estadia e retorno ao Brasil) informando sobre a carta recebida por eles. Muito gentil. Agradeço sinceramente a sra Iris pelo carinho em ter ligado para o Brasil. Voltarei com certeza. Foi minha quarta vez na Praia do Vau e a quarta em Praia da Rocha.
