An obvious first class hotel. The room was exceptionally appointed and very spacious. The bathroom was stunning with all marble, separate water closet, shower and double sink vanity. Two closets for hanging and multiple drawers. Very quiet when windows were closed but opened to get the Porto city vibe, when desired. Great location and easily walkable to river or around town. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The hotel team was gracious and helpful. The gym was small but had everything you needed to maintain some workout routine on vacation! We didn't enjoy the spa but toured it, including the indoor pool, and it was beautiful. The bar was cozy for a pre-evening drink and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel as it will make your Porto experience one to remember!

The initial reaction when you walk in is this is a breathtaking old world hotel. The lobby area is spectacular and the doorman with the top hat and elevator with the leather seat takes you back to another age. Our room was spacious snd looked out over the pool and a view of the city. But it’s the little things that make you question if it’s really a 5 star property. The door stop was broken and consequently the door handle had made a hole in the wall. The display of oranges at breakfast were moldy. The decking around the pool needs repairing and despite two requests no one ever brought towels to the pool or cleaned up glasses and food left behind from other guests. While these are small things, they are things that a top hotel doesn’t overlook. We enjoyed our stay but likely won’t return as it just wasn’t our vibe.

The hotel was beautiful and in a very nice location of Porto. We had an incredibly nice gentleman greet us upon arrival at 2am. I wish I had gotten his name because he was extremely informative and helpful and gave me a wealth of helpful advice about Porto. The room was beautiful and quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. I also appreciated that our room was very clean. The only drawback to this hotel was the breakfast. While the food was delicious, the servers lacked etiquette. We arrived on our fist day to breakfast at 10:45am, knowing they closed at 11. However, when we arrived no one offered to get us coffee cups or silverware. I had to do that myself awkwardly while they stood around. We proceeded to get our breakfast and about 10:50 they said they were closing. That was fine as but the way they spoke to us was rather rude. Afterward, mind you it’s not even 11, everyone disappeared. It was just a completely awkward and weird experience. We stayed at several other Pestana hotels and did not have this kind of experience.

We stayed in the Wine and Books Hotel for Seven nights .The Hotel should be rated 7* .We have travelled worldwide and this is by far the best Hotel we have stayed in .The staff are very special , working as an excellent team to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Camilla and Soraia on the front desk and to the food and beverage manager and all the restaurant and housekeeping staff for excellent Service which went above and beyond what we expected...Nothing is too much trouble for this excellent team. The room was quiet and comfortable and the food and breakfast is the best we ate in Porto. We truly felt we were leaving good friends by the time we left .Thank you all for a truly great stay. Stayed 4 nights upon arriving in Porto. For a 3 star hotel the property is very clean and quiet. Check in was easy. Rooms are clean and offer a closet with a safe, a kettle and tea/coffee service, a small fridge that is stocked but still room to put a beer, wine bottle or water bottle in to chill. Several outlets but no usb ports. Bathroom has a bidet. Shower had good water pressure. It’s actually a tub/shower combination. Only thing missing was wash cloth. Didn’t get one in either of my Portugal hotels. The breakfast is outstanding, Starts at 7. Several options from eggs to pancakes, side dishes, so many fresh breads, cereal, fancy coffee machine, fresh juices. There is also a bar at the hotel but we didn’t visit it. Next door is a 3 store mall with a full service American size grocery store to buy water, snacks, wine etc. at very affordable prices. One block away is the Mercado Bom Success, an upscale food court. We ate dinner there twice. The hotel is in an area called Villa Nova so a 30 to 40 minute walk from the historical center. The metro is 10 to 15 minutes away, Casa de Musical stop, which will take you to the historical center in 15 minutes. I would stay here again if ever in Porto.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Porto for 2 nights recently as part of a work trip. The hotel is in a good location, about 10 mins drive from the airport. There are a few small shops and bars / restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice, a great size and come with all the usual amenities that you'd expect from such a hotel. I ate in the bar on each night, the food was great and very good value for money. The service provided by the 2 bartenders was also great! I'll be back again in early summer and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in Porto.

Isabella was very helpful in providing information for point of interest within cities. The hotel location is close to the Porto bar and entertainment scene. Hotel is centrally located to many of the POI within the city. The room is squeaky clean and nice comfortable bed. TV have many international channels including CCTV and English movie channels. Breakfast is available at 10 Euros but we didn't took the option as there are many breakfast outlets in Porto.

I was supposed to stay in Hotel Internacional in Porto, but for some reason they lost my reservation but still did a great job in rebooking me to a different hotel, so I ended up in Pao de Acucar hotel which was one block away, same street. So they were expecting me, it was a very quick check in, thought the room wasn’t ready till 1400, but was actually ready sooner. Staff was great, friendly and accommodating, then they gave me an upgrade because of the inconvenience, I think from the part of Hotel Internacional, room was very clean, bathroom was superb. And I had a free breakfast, which food choices were delicious continental kind. Hotel was centrally located, was close to a very popular restaurant, just steps away, and very close to the main downtown area, so basically I would book this hotel again, as I only did stay there for 1 night. Great job guys! I’m very thankful.

From the warm welcome at reception from the staff who immediately come to know your face and room number when you collect your key each day, to the beautiful woman working the breakfast service who so kindly and carefully prepared us a wrapped breakfast for our very early check out. The staff are the best part of this great hotel, hands down. Smiling, helpful, I can't say enough how lovely they all were. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city and with bars and restaurants all around. The double windows do a fantastic job of keeping the noise of that out when you want too. The room was small but comfortable. I would only have very slight feedback which I hope could be constructive. The beds in our 'twin room' could only be pushed about 4 inches apart due to the fixed bedside lockers, so this is small and could be too close depending on who you travel with. The bathroom was a little rundown but clean and perfectly functional; additions of shelves or hooks to allow you to store some cosmetics in there (as the counter was very small) would be great for comfort. The pillows were strangely uncomfortable to us, but that's a personal preference. The breakfast was fantastic and again, the lady working in the mornings is a beautiful person, helpful, smiling and unfailingly good-humoured. If that's one of the first people you meet in porto, you're guaranteed to love the place. I would happily recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel and it was quite a pleasant stay. The location is FANTASTIC in the middle of all attractions so you can almost visit everything with a few minutes walk. The room was clean and has enough space for 2 people to be comfortable. We asked for an iron and it remained in our room for the entire stay. The only thing I didn’t find comfortable was the bathroom. There is a private bathroom inside the room and the walls are made of glass! So, if the person outside the bathroom will hear everything happening inside. Also, if the bathroom light is on, this means that the whole room is lit. Also, if you are someone who likes sleeping in complete darkness, the blackouts are not very good which means once the sun rises, you will find the room very illuminated.

Muito bom Do hotel íamos a pé na Ribeira e de metrô em leça da palmeira. O Hotel é bem limpo e o pequeno almoço regular.
