Highly recommend this charming hotel. From making the reservation through check-out the hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. It is very well-located, and we were able to walk to excellent restaurants and almost all the important sights. The lay-out of this small hotel worked well for us, as there are just 2 rooms per level. Traveling with a friend we had the two rooms on our level and it was very private and cozy. Taking the stairs is needed to get to the rooms, but there is a dumb-waiter for all the luggage. Though not large the rooms are nicely laid-out and feel generous. They are nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The breakfasts were excellent and extremely generous. Because it is located in a pocket off the street it was hard for us to find in a car. GPS told us we were there, but the street numbers jumped suddenly from too low to too high, and the street is high traffic so we couldn't stop to figure it out. Just be aware of that. Once you figure it out, you think, of course! Paid parking lots were several blocks away.

This was my first stay on a two week solo trip to Portugal. I was warmly welcomed by Jr who gave me a tour of the Inn and showed me to my spacious room. The location of this property cannot be beat. You are tucked into a little pedestrian courtyard but in the middle of everything. My room was comfortable, quiet and overlooked the courtyard. I could easily walk everywhere. I met Olga and Fernando at breakfast the next morning. It was incredible! Local fruit, cheeses and meat along with yogurt and delightful pastries. Olga gives a bit of background on where everything has come from. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Obrigada Olga & Fernando!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Olga and Fernando were so kind and we loved having breakfast there every morning. The room was perfect, very comfortable and clean. The location is also great, so close to many different businesses/restaurants and only a couple minutes walk from the Douro! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We had 2 rooms next to each other. We were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. This was fine for us and we used the dumb waiter to get our luggage up and down. We had very good communication ahead of time and our check in went smoothly. There is no one here 24 hours a day, but that was not a concern for us. The breakfast provided was very good. The guesthouse is slightly hard to find the first time, but appreciated the tucked away building. The bathrooms are very dark. The rooms a bit strange and not as pictured. Our boys room had some flooring issues and there was a very musty smell in the common area and stairwell that aggravated mine and my youngest allergies. Overall a good stay.

The guest house is located in an area of town within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Olga and Fernando are very gracious and helpful hosts, offering delicious breakfasts featuring local ingredients. The property is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Great little place to stay, good location. Parking is an issue, but that's Porto in general. Host was very responsive and attentive, remotely helping us to gain entry. View would be great, but there was construction scaffolding out our windows during our stay.

We had an amazing time at innpatio. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect, you are close to the water and you are close to the historical sites. The breakfast every morning was a highlight for us, everything was fresh and local. There are many restaurants nearby that were superb. Our stay was just perfect, would love to stay here again the next we are in Porto.

InPatio guest house is a lovely place to stay in Porto. It is few blocks from the river and backs onto a quiet little square. This has a great little restaurant with superb food. Olga and Fernando the hosts are a friendly helpful couple and made our stay there a special one. Breakfast were tasty highlighting local foods and specialties. We always had more than we could eat. Their descriptions of the place are accurate and I know you will enjoy your stay.

We began our 15 day visit to Portugal in Porto staying at the InPatio Guest Houe for 4 nights in October, 2024. InPatio Guesthouse is centrally located, walking distance to everywhere, immaculate and tastefully decorated. We experienced the largest bathroom there compared to any other place we stayed on our trip. Our hosts, Olga, and Fernando were very welcoming and helpful with directions, questions about the area , restaurants, and tour group recommendations. The breakfast each day was amazing with local ingredients. Olga took a lot of pride in the food she served us. The hosts were happy to accommodate us with early breakfast when needed. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Porto.
