Hotel berhampiran Nocelle, Positano

Was traveling with my 2 twenty year old children and stayed at the Covo Dei Saraceni in a Junior Suite. The room was spacious and the views from our balcony were breathtaking. Each day after exploring Positano, Capri and Pompeii we were so happy to return to this hotel and relax at the pool which also had the best views of both the beach and the cliffs of Positano. The wait staff at breakfast were so kind and attentive plus the selection of food at breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. One of the biggest reasons we would also recommend his hotel is for their customer service. The day we checked out and were dropped off at the train station we found out the train companies were on strike so all train connections were cancelled. I was not able to find another car service, or flight to get us to Florence. Stressed, I called the hotel and the concierge, Alexandra was able to magically arrange a private driver to pick us up at the train station and drive us all the way to Florence. My children and I were sooo appreciative of their wonderful staff who went above and beyond expectations so that we left loving Positano! Would definitely recommend staying at the Covo Dei Saraceni!

We loved The Royal Hotel Positano. Situated on the side of a cliff, the views were nothing short of spectacular. The hotel was easy to find and onsite parking was a plus! They helped with getting our luggage from the car to our room and then back to our car, which was very nice, as it might have been challenging with the stairs. There were stairs to get to the main lobby from the parking area, but there are stairs EVERYWHERE in Positano. Our room was very clean. There was daily housekeeping. The bathroom was updated and had a rain shower head that was very nice. Having breakfast every morning included with the room, was a nice perk. The breakfast was a typical European style breakfast of meat, cheese, pastry, yogurt, coffee and juice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is perfection. We stayed here for 2 nights during our roadtrip and I was sad that we had to leave. The view is stunning and the staff very friendly. Breakfast with delicious homemade products. They do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It’s a family-owned hotel and you can feel the dedication. I hope to return someday!

Words can’t describe how amazing our experience was with hotel Mary. Vico Equense is the most beautiful place, and only 10 min train ride to Sorrento. If you’re looking for accommodation I would highly recommend staying here! The views from the hotel were amazing, clean and tidy rooms, infinitely pool stunning, huge breakfast served each day, and to top if off a private beach club all included in the price…. Like what?! Truly worth the money and would come back here in a heart beat. Staff were super friendly and recommended great restaurants. All round one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to return.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Residence for 10 days and we would definitely come back if we are ever traveling to the Amalfi coast again. Room - The room was great, however, this is the only area where, if I would ask for anything to be improved, it would be this. When we first checked in we were given the wrong room as we requested a room with a bath tub. This was a honest mistake by the staff and we were given the room we asked for the next day. However, the air con system was broken in the room. We complained about this and was assured a maintenance man would be sent to fix it the following day. In the meantime we were given another room for the night which had air con. When the air con was fixed in our original room it then broke again which meant the hotel provided us with fans and replaced the whole unit itself. Once this was done it worked perfectly, but obviously the constant moving about and heat was a little frustrating. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience and we were very grateful for their generosity. The room itself was beautiful. The bath tub with jets was great but very powerful! The curtains completely blocked out any sun and the room was cleaned every day. The balcony was lovely for picture taking and people watching. Location - the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Right in the hussle and bussle of the town. The bus stop to Ravello is literally opposite the hotel and the stop for Positano and Sorrento is a little further down. The shop to buy the tickets for the bus is conveniently next door to the hotel which is also where we brought snacks and drinks. Service - the service in the hotel is absolutely superb. Every member of staff is so polite and helpful. The only thing they ask is no hot food being brought inside the hotel and that you leave your key at reception whenever you go out which was no bother to us. My boyfriend actually proposed to me on the trip and he organized a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit bowl to be in the room the night of the proposal. The hotel staff also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we had issues with the air con which was very generous. They also helped us find out how to buy bus and ferry tickets when we asked. Breakfast - lastly the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay however we did not have any other meal at the hotel like the dinner as it was quite expensive for us and not what we preferred to eat. There’s lot of great alternatives in the amalfi town instead. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It’s served in the restaurant 7-10 each morning and you order from a slip what you would like. I had the English breakfast and occasionally the pancakes which were amazing! You’re also given croissants on the table and water and can order whichever hot drink you’d prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast and thought the variety was great. Overall, we would definitely come back and we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Residence!

We absolutely loved our stay at this family hotel. Our room was beautiful, spacious, well equipped and had a gorgeous terrace with a great view of Ravello. The service is amazing, the staff will do everything to make you feel at home. Luisa and Stefano were really kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with veggies from their own eco garden, we also loved their home baked sourdough bread and the possibility of complimentary room service so that we could enjoy our beautiful view. We've been in several hotels in Italy and this one was by far the best one (great value for money, excellent service - the hospitality was worthy of a 5 star hotel). Grazie mille, we are looking forward to come back!

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

For several years now, I have been spending my holidays in this enchanting place, nestled in a breathtaking natural setting that offers spectacular views and unparalleled tranquility. That being said, the true strength of this establishment is the staff, which sets it apart from the surrounding accommodations. From the moment of arrival to departure, the staff ( receptionists, bar and cleaning staff) is extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to guests' needs. I would even say they make you feel like family. Their dedication and genuine desire to make the stay as comfortable as possible more than compensate for the structural shortcomings, which could benefit from some improvements to enhance the quality of life. Without the extraordinary and caring team that takes care of Gocce di Capri, the experience would be entirely different. Their warmth transforms an already beautiful place into one you wish to return to, stay at, and never leave.
