Seven of us from Canada thought this B and B was fantastic, amazing view, the grounds are well groomed. Our hosts Ana and Felix were so awesome, friendly, provided great service and very helpful. There were lots of great options for breakfast. The rooms were great, they have a mini bars, a nice little sitting area in front of the rooms that provided a beautiful view of the ocean, also, a sitting area where you can buy drinks at their bar. It was just a short walk into the main area where there was lots of shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this B and B for your next vacation stay.

Albergo Miramare will hands down be our go to hotel in Positano. My husband and I both agree the location of Albergo Miramare is ideal when traveling to Positano. It is located in the middle so you walk down a few flights of stairs from the main road or down several flights to the beach depending on where you are going. Whether you are going up to the main road for dinner or down to the dock for a boat tour, you minimize climbing stairs with this prime location. Don't get me wrong there are stairs on all paths but we found our hotel to be in the best possible spot as opposed to being located at the top of the mountain creating a long climb home each day or at the bottom where you would have a long climb up each day. Beyond the ideal location, here are the other reasons my family will look no further for hotel accommodations when traveling to Positano. Staff: The staff were so easy to communicate with from the very beginning. After booking our apartment for the week, my husband's work conference dates changed in Sicily. I emailed the staff at Albergo Miramare and within hours they adjusted our dates with no issues. Danielle and Nicola were incredible with arranging transfers to and from the airport for my family. They assisted us in chartering a private boat to Capri which was our favorite day of the trip. Every staff member we encountered from reception, porter service , housekeeping and restaurant staff were all friendly and professional. Room: We booked the apartment for our family of four. Our apartment was located across the steps from the reception office and only a few steps up from the hotel restaurant. The apartment had two bedrooms, two full baths, two closets, a small lounge area in the master bedroom and a full living area between the two bedrooms and hallway connecting the two bedrooms. The apartment was spacious and having the full living area was a nice feature when taking breaks from the heat during the day. The air conditioning was of US standard as it really cooled the entire apartment unlike many other air conditioning units we have experienced in our travels abroad. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable which made for a good nights sleep. Housekeeping changed sheets and replaced towels daily. The private balcony was the icing on the cake for us. It was spacious with two tables for enjoying dinner and four lounge chairs for resting and enjoying the views. The view was so picturesque from our private balcony. Restaurant: The breakfast included in our room rate was served daily from 7:30-10:30 in La Scalinatella. The restaurant was just beautiful with a paper tree draping from the ceiling and walls. The views from the restaurant are the best you will find in Positano. Each morning there was a diverse buffet served with fresh fruit, cooked vegetables, cheese selections, sliced meat selections, eggs (boiled, scrambled and fried), bacon, sausage and hash browns. The staff was PHENOMENAL! Tiziana was the ultimate host and was so great communicating with us! Just a simple text away and always responsive. She helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, dinner reservations, and so much more! Also, the rest of the staff kept the facilities so clean and were always wearing a smile on their faces. They made each day so bright and we appreciated them so much. Everyone at Villa Mary made our stay so EASY & most importantly, relaxing. We traveled to Positano for our honeymoon and stayed in the Diana suite where the views were spectacular and unmatched. Such a spacious room and breakfast on the terrace each morning was the ultimate plus. - we felt so luxurious. (Also, HUGE bathroom with a big tub). My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary by spending 5 nights at Le Sirenuse. The hotel was amazing and the staff were spectacular! Make sure to book at least one dinner at their restaurant, La Sponda & take advantage of their lunch time boat rides to Nerano! The concierge was also incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations & booking special excursions. I highly recommend for anyone staying in Positano/Amalfi Coast!

This was one of our nicest surprises on our trip through Italy. We were apprehensive, at first, because we usually prefer to stay at hotels which offer full service (pool, concierge, front desk staff, etc.) vs. air bnb or bed and breakfast type places. However, once we saw pictures of the views this place had ... we decided to book ... and it was a fantastic decision! Mauro, who is the property manager, and all-around great person answered all of our emails promptly with questions and made great restaurant recommendations during our stay. He was on property to warming greet us, help us to park (believe me ... parking in Positano is impossible ... so the fact that it was possible to rent a parking spot on property along with the room was a HUGE convenience!) and check us in. The cleaning woman came every day and was so sweet. We arrived a little early before our 3 p.m. check-in time and he allowed us to come into the room a bit early, which was very nice as it allowed us to change clothes. He showed us the room and gave us the keys and instructions on how to open the door after hours, when there is no staff. We had no problems coming, or going, during our stay. The cleaning woman came every day and was so sweet. Our little apartment was spotless when we came back from the city. Our suite was the Palazzo Suite, which was pretty huge ... 750 square feet, or so, with a large kitchen, a bedroom and changing area, a small alcove with a washing machine (no drying machine ... only a rack) and a wonderfully big bathroom. The star of the show was the GIANT patio with panoramic views of the mountains and the city. Sadly, it rained for most of the time we were in Positano ... but thankfully our suite had a canvas cover, which allowed us to admire the view, even during a rain storm! A few of the other suites had balconies with an open sky ... but during the rain, they were unable to use the balcony like we did ... so we made a good choice of room! Of course the furniture was a little old and worn ... but the bed was comfortable and honestly, we spent very few minutes in the room. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel-style, picture-perfect room, this isn't it. However, Le Sirinuse and Villa TreVelle rooms with this view would cost 2 or 3 times the price. So, we were beyond happy with the value of the room and were very comfortable in it during our entire stay. The hardest part of the room was to motivate ourselves to go into town because the view from the huge terrace was so amazing that we did not want to leave. You must be in very good shape in order to fully enjoy the location in Positano. There are a LOT of steep stairs to climb up and down to get into the city ... and I don't know if I have been in a city quite as crowded as Positano, even early into the summer. Climbing back up to the hotel each night was quite a process, even for a fit person ... however, anywhere in Positano with a nice view requires this. You could hire a taxi, or uber, to pick

I highly recommend Hotel Savoia in Positano! The hotel is beautiful and has amazing views! It is located right in the center of town so is seconds away from restaurants, bars, shops and gelato! The staff was amazing and willing to provide recommendations for boat tour companies and restaurants via email ahead of our arrival. They even helped us make a dinner reservation in advance. The breakfast had options for everyone and was delicious. Overall, the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.
