My husband and I are snowbirds. We normally stay at Hampton Inns on our drive between Ohio and Florida. We recently spent the night at this Holiday Inn Express because no Hampton Inn was available. We were pleasantly surprised. The desk clerk greeted us with a friendly smile. In fact, any employee we passed greeted us with a friendly smile. We were pleasantly surprised by the room. First and foremost it was clean. It had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The shower was large and had large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner attached to the wall of the shower. The room was quiet and we slept comfortably. The breakfast buffet in the morning was full and a woman was actively monitoring and replacing items when needed. I am on a special diet and ate a delicious egg white omelet with vegetables. My husband ate a traditional breakfast with bacon, eggs and biscuits. It was also delicious. We are going to try another Holiday Inn Express the next time we drive between Ohio and Florida. It’s exactly what we need for a quick stop overnight.
