Hotel Libero

Took all my money for a 5 night booking and ALSO then sold my room to someone else for multiple nights when I had already paid for up front, because some of my flights were cancelled and delayed and could not contact them to let them know I was going to arrive later than expected. Be careful booking with this hotel as they will rip you off!!!

This was a hotel room that had 2 twin beds and a third twin that became a king bed when the trundle pulled out. There was no kitchenette, but there was a mini-bar that we used to store some of our own drinks. We had a private bath with shower and tub. The tub is narrower and sits higher than what we’re used to in the US. It’s something to consider if that could be difficult for someone in your group, and everyone should just be extra careful (though none of us had any incidents). Our AC worked great. We did notice that it had pretty much cycled off when we woke up on our last morning there (Is this a thing in European hotels?). That said, the temperature had dropped that night, so it may well have cycled off not for cost savings but because of the outside temperature. It definitely did work during the 2 hot days we had in Prague. The free breakfast was pretty good. In addition to bread and pastries, it had heartier items like eggs, sausages, cold cuts, and cheeses. Our location was not in the center of everything, but it did serve us well. We were less than five minutes away from a tram stop. We could get to the center of the old town in 15-20 minutes. I did not spot any supermarkets nearby, but there was a mini-mart down the street from the hotel where we picked up drinks and snacks: between that and the free breakfast, we didn’t need a full supermarket. If you take the tram one stop or walk about 7 minutes you will find several restaurants.

Prima di tutto devo dire che lo staff è stato sempre molto disponibile e gentile nel rispondere e nel soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Nonostante i nostri orari di arrivo e partenza siamo stati serviti egregiamente sia per il check in che per il check out. L'hotel è ben tenuto e la camera nel suo complesso è molto gradevole, bagno spazioso. La colazione è abbondante e molto buona. La posizione della struttura è comodissima e a poche centinai di metri da tutti i collegamenti pubblici come tram, bus e metro con cui si può raggiungere velocemente ogni parte della città. Inoltre è molto vicino ad un immenso centro commerciale e a dei ristoranti fantastici. Consiglio assolutamente.
