Mango Lodge

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week. I cannot sing its praises enough. We stayed in one of the bungalows on stilts with the amazing bay view. I’m not going to pretend this is 5 star luxury but having done that multiple times I can honestly say I preferred Mango lodge. You can safely sleep with the doors to the balcony wide open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Well equipped little kitchen and spacious private accommodation. I would definitely recommend renting a car- this was seamlessly organised by the amazing Les. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The property was amazing, and we felt confused how it was only 2 star. Firstly, the views are absolutely incredible as you can see on the photos attached. We were often waking up around 5am to see the sunrise which was really nice. The rooms are cleaned by the housekeepers every day, to a great standard. They are large rooms with so much space as you can see in the photo, we stayed in the chalet and were more than impressed with the room. They had beach towels, kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, you can easily cook there if you wanted to. The balcony space is huge, and comes with unbelievable views. The owner Leslie is an incredible person and host, nothing is too much for her and she will go out of her way to help you and suggest things, I would suggest to anyone thinking of stopping here to reach out to her with any questions about excursions, rental cars as she will find things far cheaper than you see online, all very reputable. She helped us when we had trouble one morning and gave us a ride to the ferry terminal and refused to take cash, without her we would have missed our ferry to La Digue and we couldn’t thank her enough for this. Rental car is a must, again contact Leslie she found a car for us which was brilliant and so cheap when you’re used to European prices. Overall we loved our stay here, it’s a fabulous place to see amazing views first and last thing in the day. Close by to supermarkets and amazing takeaway spots, Leo’s food truck is a must! Should we ever return to the Seychelles we wouldn’t hesitate a second to stop here again. Thank you so much Leslie and the team!

Very happy with the accomodation, lovely host Lesly and Ashley, fantastic view, reasonable price, highly recomend it. The rooms are very clean and the plavce is surrounded by a beatiful mango garden and a beatiful birds , black parrot ,9 in total🙂

Where do we begin to thank Mango Lodge, all the friendly staff especially Les and Ash for a super wonderful holiday! We went to Praslin Seychelles with big expectations celebrating double 50th birthdays! First time ever Island visit and we are so pleased to have chosen this particular stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasurable and wonderful experience and this holiday will be remembered for a very long time for sure! They even assisted me in baking my husband's favourite desert for his birthday which made it extra special! We had such a great time, marvelling most fantastic views, relaxing in a friendly and most beautiful and helpful atmosphere. We will never forget our stay at Mango Lodge. Hopefully we will be blessed to return in the near future! Thank you for all the extras Les and Ash! You made our 50th celebrations a memory for life! God bless you! We will miss our time with you! Pros.. 1. Amazing view...perched at the top of the mountain, with beautiful sunrise from your chalets..what more can u ask for! 2. Lesley..the lodge owner is a wonderful lady, goes the extra mile to assist you in your stay. 3. Fresh breakfast in a cute lil restaurant...With freshly baked cakes, fruits, and toast everyday..Zita ,the lady at the restaurant was very polite, and catered to all our requests. Cons/ need for improvements.. 1 Bathrooms and kitchenette appears a bit dated, however Les did mention that she's gonna renovate the lodge soon. 2. Basic toiletries can be added. We enjoyed our stay in the lodge, beautiful mornings and evenings..however, we did miss aircon at times!

Best place we stayed at in the mid-range priced hotels. Going down the stairs to reach the chalet the view was already a shock to me, overlooking the magnificent bay with green tropical fruit-trees and light blue sea. The balcony immerses you into a green exotic environment and will let you stare at the bay for long timeless moments ! I LOVED IT ! ROOM 9 BEST VIEW!! Very quiet place to relax and enjoy the symphony of birds, fruit-bats, oh dear, wanna go back! The chalet itself is well-equiped for cooking, beds done every-day, very spacious and pleasant with blue-green colours and wood everywhere. Very large bathroom with nice walk-in shower. All linens were very soft and very pleasant to use (sheets, pillows, towels). Véronica and Zitta were joyful friendly companies for our breakfasts and all the staff was very helpful : Lesley is very reactive and dynamic and advised us on places of interest (GOLFERS GO THERE SHE IS IN THE KNOW !) and excursions. The garden staff was also nice and helpful.
