We found a quieter spot for our last two days. Following the food guide provided by the customer service, we had delicious, authentic roast chicken for dinner. The next morning, we rented an e-scooter for a 1.5-hour tour around Luhu Lake (on holidays, e-scooters cost 50 yuan for an hour and a half, which is incredibly expensive!). The tour took an hour, and we stopped by Duichuan Wencha for Cantonese dim sum (380 yuan for four people). We played Chengdu Mahjong in the villa that night and were so impressed that we didn't want to check out. We would have stayed a few more days if the holiday hadn't been so short. The ambiance and decor were fantastic compared to the main city area, making it a fantastic value! Taxi access to and from the high-speed rail station was also very convenient; taxis were available within minutes during the May Day holiday. Highly recommended!
