The hotel is centrally located, but not easily accessible by car without the prior knowledge to use the bus lane as parking to unload. The staff mostly was very helpful and service minded. In general the hotel is outdated and reception, hall and the one elevator are lacking the luster to be considered a 4-star hotel. Hotel bar and restaurant prompt going outdoors. Breakfast itself was good. The room was very small, far too warm and where lacking real air conditioning could not be made comfortable. The room we booked via Booking looks like being furnished in the late 60-ies and is lacking an espresso machine. The bathroom, with plastic cups to try to drink out of, was cramped and without space to place much more than a toothbrush. I hope the hotel will be reviewed by the brand soon to bring it up to the standard we experienced in e.g. the BW in Modena.

Even though this hotel is located by a large roundabout, none of that noise Carrie’s through to the room and we enjoyed a nice, quiet night. It’s located ideally for visitors, less than a 2 minute walk from the main train and bus stations. It was easy to walk to the funicular to visit old town and the staff were all very nice.

Spent our last night in Bergamo at this lovely boutique hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were very helpful. Rebecca and Joanne were so friendly as were the others but didn’t get their names. The room we had was lovely with a small typical Italian balcony over looking the roof tops and the courtyard. The bathroom was very modern and large with the most powerful shower.. There was also a huge bath with jets. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely courtyard where we finished the evening with drinks. Recommend the Italian gin. Breakfast was excellent with a fabulous buffet selection. Eggs cooked to your preference and beautifully presented. Loved the white table linen which you rarely find these days. Set in a lovely part of Bergamot with plenty of shops and restaurants near by. About 15/20 minute walk from rail station. Highly recommend.

This was our first hotel of many during our one week stay in northern Italy. Have in mind that we arrived at around 10 pm due to a delayed flight, and needed a place to rest before starting our road trip. Perfect location regarding airport and Bergamo city centre. A bit outside the city core to let the juice of Italian culture slowly get to us. We found ourselves at the reception after getting to park our rental inside the hotel premises. Met by a friendly staff with a smile on his face, as if knowing he was the chosen one to redeem northern Italy’s reputation regarding Europe’s Covid outbreak. Entering our room, a bucket of chilled Prosecco and strawberries awaited us. Pre-ordered, not included. At 11 pm we wanted pasta, as any international, normal person would when in Italy their first day. The chef obliged and gave us room service at that hour. Drunk with Prosecco, strawberries and pasta, we slept through the night dreaming of the journey ahead. The bed linen was clean and the bathroom upheld its hygienic standard as it should. Breakfast awaited, and was mostly packaged baked goods. We even saw a guy just shoving tons of this stuff into a paper bag. The staff said it was ok. Partially continental breakfast. Coffee was great. All in all, a good start of a week long road trip. Room was ok, but fully functional.

Abbiamo passato un fine settimana in questo nuovo resort e purtroppo non possiamo confermare le altre recensioni. Premetto che alla nostra partenza ne abbiamo già parlato con la direzione, la quale è stata veramente molto aperta alla critica (spero costruttiva). Partiamo dal positivo: struttura nuova, molto bella e anche particolare, visto che ci sono più costruzioni e l'entrata è sotterranea. L'impressione, anche la realtà, è di un albergo a misura di cliente, intimo. Piscina e centro SPA molto molto bello; la piscina esterna è confortevole soprattutto se si vuole prendere il sole - simil bagnasciuga. Sono a disposizione delle sdraio con ombrellone e anche dei gazebo, ma questi sono a pagamento - 50 euro al giorno. Ho effettuato un trattamento con massaggio, molto professionale, da provare. La camera - la no. 1 - carina, moderna e di design, letto super comodo. Ottimi i prodotti di cortesia e la biancheria. Il personale è molto cortese, tanto giovane e, a mio parere, poco preparato per un 5 stelle. Forse sarebbe opportuno avere all'interno qualche figura che possa accompagnare e formare questi giovani. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante: servizio molto attento senza però ”disturbare”, per il cibo, buono ma a mio parere manca ancora un po' di affinamento in alcuni piatti. Note negative: la colazione. Non è tollerabile che in un 5 stelle ci sia la metà dell'offerta a pagamento. Inoltre, deve essere ordinata, quindi la scelta è molto molto limitata, per dire nulla. Marmellata, miele e crema alle nocciole viene portata al tavolo senza possibilità di scegliere i gusti, per il pane, idem. Vengono dati due croissant (uno al burro e l'altro integrale), abbiamo dovuto dividerli. E' vero che si potrebbe ordinarle altri, ma non è che si viene sollecitati a richiederli e quindi non si osa. Oltre ai croissant vengono servite due fette di pane a testa, bianco e scuro. Da una struttura lusso mi aspetto ben altro. Per quanto riguarda il resto: nessun cereale, ho chiesto e mi hanno portato i cornflakes. Per la frutta, pare che ci siano un cesto da qualche parte, che in due giorni non ho visto e quindi ho ordinato, a pagamento, la tagliata di frutta. Pancake a pagamento come le omelette, e altre uova. Nessun dolce, nessuna torta. Capisco il fatto della filosofia della sostenibilità, ma questa non deve andare a discapito del servizio al cliente. Devo dire che questo mi ha veramente rovinato le vacanze; amo fare colazione, soprattutto in vacanza e se pago una camera quasi 400 euro a Clusone, mi aspetto di poter fare una colazione degna delle 5 stelle. Altra nota negativa: purtroppo, non si riesce a fare colazione all'esterno a causa delle api, e all'interno abbiamo notato una qualche pecca nella pulizia nella zona colazione. (nocciole dell'aperitivo per terra e davanzale che da sulla piscina con polvere). Consiglio: adattare la temperatura dell'aria condizionata, nelle aree comuni (ristorante e bar) è freddino.
