We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Location is right in the centre and in walking distance from everything you need. While the standard rooms are a bit dated they were immaculate and very clean. The bed is nice and large and the sheets crisp. The service in the hotel is truly a hospitality 5star experience. Nothing you asked was too much and the ladies behind the desk were immensely friendly and helpful. The reception staff, the people at breakfast and in the restaurant were truly fantastic. I really can't recommend this hotel more. The restaurant upstairs was such a lovely experience. The dishes and wines were curated and delicious. We also had a cocktail class with the lovely Eduardo. He was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the experience. Biella as a city was a wonderful discovery and our stay at the hotel truly contributed to a fabulous trip.

Hotel carino, forse andrebbero eliminate le piante finte cariche di polvere. Camera pulita e letto molto comodo, non grandissima. La colazione (ci siamo recati alle 8.00)deludente: brioches surgelate( non erano di pasticceria), non c era più pane(era in cottura, pure quello gelo), le uova le stavano per cuocere ma dopo più di dieci minuti non erano ancora pronte. Di salato un pezzo di fontina e un salamino che nessuno ha osato tagliare. Ho preso una fettina di crostata ed era molto farinosa, nessuna descrizione di che tipo di frolla fosse. Di altro fette biscottate e marmellate monodose, una tristezza. Alle 8,30 abbiamo rinunciato alle uova, la barista era forse troppo presa dall' intrattenere conversazioni per occuparsene. Deludente anche scoprire che tutte le belle foto dei piatti in galleria sono di vecchi ricordi, non hanno più il ristorante. Forse il caso di aggiornare!!

Sono stata in questo ristorante per la prima volta con il mio compagno che, memore di mangiate storiche in un posto particolarissimo, ci teneva molto a portarmici. L'accoglienza è suggestiva e calorosa, merito anche della signora molto gentile che ci ha serviti e degli abbondanti e coloratissimi oggetti e colori che ti abbracciano entrando in quell'universo parallelo. Peccato che una nota stonata la si percepisce subito ed è il freddo polare che abbiamo patito, nota stonata perché un ambiente che vorrebbe farsi pregio del tanto decantato charme dovrebbe preoccuparsi quantomeno che i propri ospiti siano sufficientemente al caldo per potersi godere la serata concentrandosi su cibo e conversazione. Ma veniamo al cibo. Potrei essere molto prolissa ma stringo dicendo che era poco, quel poco era di bassa qualità, in particolare un capunet che aveva la carne al suo interno palesemente non più commestibile, il tagliere offerto è composto di 4 salami tutti da supermercato, nessun'altro salume. Ah si, qualche fetta di lardo che furbescamente faceva parte di un altro antipasto, servito a -5 gradi con però focaccina calda di rimedio. Non mi esprimo sul secondo che mi faceva venire voglia di piangere. Una fetta contata di rollata e un pentolino di patate e peperoni in umido che neanche nel mio recente ricovero ospedaliero. Salvo solo la magnifica caponata. Ma aver mangiato,seppur in un luogo suggestivo, al freddo una porzioncina di ottima caponata per più di 42 euro lo trovo inaccettabile. Non ci andate.
