This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. From the moment you step in, you know it's something special – an artist's entrance, with an artistic atmosphere permeating every corner. The details are meticulously crafted. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. It's also easy to find restaurants after leaving the park, as the area around the East Gate is full of eateries. 🛏️Bathtub King Room: Refined Down to the Details We stayed in a bathtub king room. The room isn't huge but is exquisite in every detail. The bedding is comfortable, and a relaxing soak in the tub at night washes away all the day's fatigue. Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this.

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie! We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival. The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

Check-in: We arrived quite early (a little after 7 AM) and were able to check in immediately. We even got a two-level room upgrade, ending up in a ground-floor room with a bathtub. The room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet area were huge. The bathtub was big enough for one person and came with bath salts, a loofah, and a phone holder. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There was a reclining chair in the room with a bedside lamp next to it, perfect for lying down and looking at my phone at night with just the lamp on, then turning it off and going to bed when I got sleepy. Afternoon tea was provided, and the fruit and braised peanuts were delicious. The fruit selection at breakfast was excellent, with sweet red pitaya, watermelon, and even sweet prunes (rare to see prunes offered!). Breakfast offered four set menus; we tried two, and the steak option was particularly good. Unfortunately, we had to leave in a hurry and missed out on the travel photography and luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station. Transportation: The hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you to the community entrance (the hotel is located within the community). I added their customer service on WeChat beforehand, and they sent me a very useful image showing how to get a taxi to the hotel entrance. The hotel's location is good, close to the attractions we wanted to visit. However, it's a bit far from the subway. When taking a taxi, you might encounter drivers not coming, but if you're patient, someone will eventually pick you up. Facilities: Although laundry service was available, I needed my clothes washed and dried quickly. So, I took them to be washed myself and had the hotel help with drying and returning them to the room, which I appreciated. The soundproofing, as others have mentioned, isn't perfect near the door, where you can hear outside noise. However, I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door, so it wasn't an issue for me.

The environment here is fantastic, with fresh air and a great location that's convenient for all the attractions, whether you're taking the bus or a Didi. We drove ourselves, and there were plenty of charging stations and parking spots available. The front desk staff were very professional and handled our check-in quickly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent base for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – exceptionally clean and wonderful staff I had a really lovely stay at Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, in Wulingyuan, the small tourist town/village right beside the National Forest Park. The location could hardly be more convenient – the East Gate entrance to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is only a short walk away, which makes a huge difference when you have long days of exploring ahead of you. One of the things that impressed me most was how exceptionally clean the hotel was. Not just my room, but everywhere – the lobby, restaurant, corridors and public areas were immaculate. The hotel feels modern, bright, spacious and extremely well maintained. After spending the day climbing countless steps and exploring the mountains, coming back to such a clean and comfortable hotel was very much appreciated! There are also lots of thoughtful little extras. Guests have access to complimentary cold drinks, bottled water and ice creams, which you can simply help yourself to – a particularly welcome touch after returning hot and exhausted from the park. There is also a small business area with computers and printing facilities, which is surprisingly useful when travelling and needing to organise tickets or the next part of a trip. Breakfast is served in a large, pleasant dining area with plenty of choice, and the public spaces throughout the hotel are beautifully presented and comfortable. But the real highlight for me was the reception staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly, patient and genuinely keen to help, and I would particularly like to mention Iris. She was absolutely lovely. When I needed to organise the next stage of my journey, she took the time to sit with me and help me work through my next train booking, rather than simply pointing me in the right direction. When travelling alone in a country where you don’t speak the language, that sort of kindness and personal attention means a great deal. And her English is outstanding. Iris was consistently warm, approachable and friendly, and she made me feel that helping a guest was never an inconvenience. It is people like her who turn a very good hotel stay into one you actually remember. For anyone coming to Zhangjiajie primarily to explore the National Forest Park, I would happily recommend this hotel. Fantastic location, spotless facilities, thoughtful complimentary extras and, most importantly, genuinely caring staff. For this trip to Changsha, I chose two hotels with completely different styles. One was a high-rise with a storm SPA experience and hot stone sauna, and the other was this 6500·Chaozong Street B&B, located in Chaozong Ancient Street. The experience here was simply unbeatable, truly the highlight of my Changsha trip. The excellent experience started even before we arrived. The hotel is about 20 meters inside Chaozong Ancient Street, so cars can't drive in. Our little butler was already waiting at the entrance of the ancient street, helped us with our luggage after we got out of the car, poured iced water, checked us in, and escorted us to our room. There's a special little Rubik's Cube by the bed; my child solved it and exchanged it for a cup of Tea Yan Yue Se. My favorable impression instantly soared. Then my child happily went to do handicrafts, and I joyfully went to take photos. The travel photography service was also superb; the guide was patient throughout, with no extra charges. After the shoot, I received over 200 raw photos and 9 retouched ones. I recall having to spend an extra thousand yuan for travel photography at the Anmo Hotel in Yinchuan. My child made a Song brocade wind chimes and quietly told me they wanted to make something else. The little butler overheard and readily allowed them to make another herbal painting. My child was absolutely thrilled. After they finished, the little butler took care of drying and framing it. An artwork, complete! ✅ After all the activities, we started enjoying afternoon tea. The desserts weren't too sweet, and the coffee was delicious. Afterwards, we could head out to explore. Upon returning, I found that the little butler had thoughtfully arranged a tatami mat and even provided a late-night snack. I ordered congee and soup, which were very comforting, and then had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast could be delivered to the room or eaten in the lobby. Everything was freshly made, nutritionally balanced, a blend of Chinese and Western styles, and delicious. There was a minor hiccup when checking out and taking a taxi to the South Station. I muttered that I had originally planned to have lunch at the South Station. The little butler heard me and quickly went to the kitchen to pack some food for me. I was stunned, such thoughtful service! I was so touched. So, who is this beautiful, kind, universally adored, and charming little butler? I must mention her name: it's Miss Meiling! A hundred thumbs up!

This stay exceeded my expectations; overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, and the public areas were kept clean and elegant. There's also a large garden courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The guest rooms were thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities worked perfectly. The staff, in particular, were excellent – friendly, patient in answering questions, and efficient with check-in and check-out. They were also quick to respond to any requests. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The location is convenient for getting around, making it easy for both sightseeing and dining. The overall value for money is good, and it was a comfortable stay. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit and recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Forest Homestay at Sunrise and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the scenery each morning was a real highlight of our stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We ate there multiple times and everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. It was a lovely place to relax after a long day exploring the park. What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly kind, patient and helpful from start to finish. Before we arrived, they helped organise our transfers to and from the hotel, making the journey completely stress-free. They also took the time to plan our itinerary for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, explaining the different routes and helping us make the most of our time there. Thanks to their advice, we managed to avoid the long queues and see all of the major highlights efficiently, making our visit far more enjoyable. The genuine warmth and hospitality of everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. We would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
