I stayed at Avenue for one night at the end of a business trip. Como is only a 45 minute drive to Malpensa airport. I was a bit hesitant based on some reviews, but I can say that the hotel was fantastic! Room was super clean, and even had its own terrazzo to relax on. Room was on the small side, but very normal for Italy. Bathroom was clean and spacious. I don’t know where people had issues with noise, but my room was totally quiet the entire time. Only issue was that the safe wouldn’t open after I locked it. The staff came up immediately, and took some time to sort it out, but they got it done. They were incredibly nice (and apologetic, which wasn’t necessary). Ate dinner at the pizza shop around the corner that shared the patio right in front of the hotel. Food was great, and super convenient. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Posizione ottima, in pieno centro (è un plus ma anche un malus per il baccano giù in strada fino a tarda notte, specialmente nei weekend). Bisogna però essere onesti, sulla struttura c'è tanto da lavorare...Camera venduta come superior ma le superior sono ben lontane. Niente TV in camera e questo è per me grave se vendi una 'superior' a quasi €100 a notte. Insonorizzazione pessima, si sentiva anche il russare delle camere accanto...Molto scomodo il fatto che sia ad un terzo piano senza ascensore quindi solo scale, e a fine giornata è davvero dura, impossibile per famiglie con carrozzine o per portatori di handicap. Portone d'ingresso su strada poco curato, confina con la porta di servizio di un ristorante/bar che emana odori forti a tutte le ore. Apprezzata la macchinetta del caffè in camera e l'acqua, ma ciò non esalta la struttura in se. Il bidet perdeva acqua, un condizionatore montato sulla cappa della cucina con tubo di scolo nel lavandino della stessa. Per una camera venduta come Superior a quasi €100 a notte direi proprio no...Ok la pulizia e cortesia telefonica dello staff (dico telefonica poiché non abbiamo mai incontrato i proprietari per ovvie ragioni personali, nè esiste una reception).C'è da dire che son stati molto cortesi nel lasciarci la camera anche dopo l'orario del check out senza supplemento, davvero una comodità per chi visita e poi torna prima di partire.

Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple.

We splurged on this 4-star hotel and had a great experience. The rooms and common areas are lovely, the breakfast was delicious with Italian, German and American style foods. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking on site for 20 euro a night was convenient. There is even a pool - though it is a bit small and cold. It is also basically in the breakfast area so don’t plan on a morning swim!

Super clean, great amenities and the staff were all sooo friendly. The hostel is a real social spot in the town, a lot of young faces and energy, even during the off-season. Would highly recommend!

PPengguna TetamuWe lived in Como for a while and walked past this hotel every day. It's literally on the lakefront and as central to the centro storico, the bus station and the train station as it is possible to get. We always thought it would be a nice place to stay. Roll forward and we had reason to visit Como again this week so we booked it. I also booked another room for someone we were planning to meet in Como.
The hotel is one of those elegant old-school hotels you could imagine from reading about the grand old days of ('old' in the sense of traditional, elegant and sophisticated - but not 'old' in a 'tired' way). Imagine the exact opposite of a modern steel & glass skyscraper hotel and this is what you will find here.
Staff were very attentive and friendly (while still being unobtrusive and professional). Food was excellent. Maybe the breakfast was a little but expensive but that's the way it is with hotels - just book it with your reservation and you'll save. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the fountain (twice) was fantastic. Many of the dishes were not as expensive as local tourist ripoffs elsewhere in the City. The Cotoletta Milanese was as good as I have ever tasted anywhere in northern Italy (imagine a soft, succulent Veal steak covered in breadcrumbs) and big enough to share 1/3 of it and still be full afterwards. The Lunch menu was better and less expensive than places with much less quality on the menu.
Overall, I would happily recommend the Palace Hotel to anyone. Treat yourself and book a room with a Lake View. You won't regret the extra few Euro.

Embora não fique muito próxima ao lago, tem o benefício de ficar num bairro muito tranquilo, com várias opções de estacionamento gratuito. Quarto e banheiro super espaçosos com muitos lugares para colocar malas e roupas. O café da manhã simplesmente perfeito. Tudo fresco, de alta qualidade e preparado com muito cuidado pela Tati, que é uma pessoa muito simpática e atenciosa. Tivemos dias maravilhosos com bastante conforto.

Jika tiada pemanduan sendiri, ia hanya beberapa ratus meter dari terminal dan stesen bas terdekat. Terdapat pasar raya besar dalam jarak beberapa ratus meter, jadi mudah untuk membeli segala-galanya. Hotel ini mempunyai pemandangan yang sempurna dan terletak di tepi tasik. Anda boleh menikmati pemandangan Danau Como yang indah dari lobi hotel dan taman hotel. Kebanyakan bilik harus mempunyai pemandangan yang sangat baik. Tiada rancangan lain untuk menikmati pemandangan di hotel ini sangat memuaskan. Keseluruhan kemudahan hotel juga ok, 4 bintang tiada masalah, dan peralatan tempat tidurnya sangat selesa, yang dianggap sebagai tahap yang sangat baik di antara 4 bintang. Sarapan pagi yang kaya dan lazat, dengan pemandangan restoran, sangat menyeronokkan. Akhirnya, perkhidmatannya baik, dan kakitangannya sangat membantu.

PPengguna Tetamumy wife and I visited the hotel during winter. It was not crowded and we were the only ones who had dinner at the hotel restaurant that night. The food is good.
what i want to stress the most is that the view from my lakeview room is stunning. i believe it has the best view out of all the hotels in Bellagio given its location and altitude. With the room, view and service we got, it is safe to say it has the greatest value for money out all my 9-day stay in Italy.

Location- hotel ideal location near to ferry . 10-15 min walk to cable car. From como railway station . Go down the stair from the exit of the station. Follow the pedestrian crossing and go down and walk straight into the town . Easy .
Hotel: super clean . Air con was super good and cold ! I love it . Room wise size is ok. Ruben was helpful and explain to us what to do for our W day stay . Where to take ferry. Where to take cable car . He was nice and smiling .
Food: I did not opt for breakfast as there are many food around . I had twice the gelato for nearby shop. It was good !
Overal. My stay in room 403 was great ! Check in and out was easy .
Please stay here. At night I also went to the square juat below and chill out with food .

PPengguna TetamuWe booked a double comfort room but we’re put in a disabled access room. Neither of us have mobility issues and are supposed to be on a romantic weekend away and we thought by booking a 4 star hotel we would get the romantic atmosphere advertised on line. We asked about room service when we arrived as it was quite late and were met with a response of “nothings open” despite the website advertising 24hour room service with no extra charge and free water from the mini bar. When we got to our room there was a notice on the side with information about the room service hours which also stated there would be a 3€ charge just to call down to room service, as well as a note on the mini bar stating a 1.50€ fee for water. Our bathroom does not have the bidet that’s stated in the room description online and the toilet is raised far too high for either of us to use comfortably. The rest of the bathroom is completely bare, with not so much as a shower curtain. Our safe does not work, despite someone coming to change the batteries inside and still no resolution to our issue! We have only one bedside table and had to resort to using the cheap plastic chair as a replacement on one side of the bed. The receptionist was less than cooperative when we went down to discuss our feelings/options and we were met with “we don’t change the bookings this is what you booked”. After showing her our booking and where it stated what we paid for she responded with “we’re full so we can’t move you unless you want to sleep separately or if someone cancels” . We feel as though we have been lied to and don’t feel as though we have been provided with the service that we have paid for. Having seen the room pictures online of what we had actually booked we are completely disgusted and can’t help feeling a bit discriminated against due to us being a same sex couple. It’s our first time in Milan and this has truly tainted our view and will probably not be coming back at all.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was very clean, refurbished recently, lovely balcony view. On reading reviews before our stay, the main complaint was the food. Obviously not taking heed of reviews, as Breakfast was same every day, with tinned fruit, only found some fresh fruit on our last day. Dinners were awful, same salads every day, mainly processed food again, meat was as tough as a boot and vegetables, same every day, watery brocoli, cauliflower and carrot. The nicest was the icecream for dessert, also some second courses which included pasta would be a good filler! We were there with a Tour Group and the overall consensus was that the food was a big problem, most especially for 3 ladies who were coeliac. Such a pity the Hotel would be ideal other than the very poor food. Bar staff and entertainment were also very good 😎
