We had a very enjoyable stay here. My partner follows a gluten free diet and was very pleased with the labelling and GF alternatives, including the a la carte (Al Grano) which provided gluten free pasta. There was a lot of choice in the main restaurant and a wide selection of drinks including cocktails. The room was nice, had a good shower and was cleaned every day. Quaint individual bungalows with good air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities. It would be good to have some more entertainment in the evenings, local singers etc. The beach area is nice and a short walk from the hotel.

We have stayed at the TUI Blue Budoni for a full week now and are less then pleased with our experience. The hotel is rated as a 4* however is more 3* level, the rooms are basic with much to be desired for, there is no natural light in the rooms unless you have the windows and doors open which is not always possible when getting ready due to privacy. There does not seem to be enough staff in house keeping as our rooms were not cleaned until around 2pm or after on some days. Also lack of communication and language barrier is a issue, there is only a handful of people that speak reasonable English and can explain things well or give suggestions. The food on average is mediocre and has no seasoning on any dish. In the evenings the dishes that are sliced beef / pork is fatty, chewy and unseasoned. The variety is not good either. This does not do Sardinian cuisine any justice as it does not portray the signature dishes that Sardinia is traditionally known for (grilled meats / BBQ food / Suckling pig). The pasta dishes were always under cooked and hard and the rice undercooked and crunchy. There was no consistency with the food at any time of day it was either undercooked or burnt there was no middle ground. There needs to be more variety and themed food nights / live cooking and maybe a daily menu to advise of the specialty food stations. The labelling of the food is atrocious, there is nothing to specify what contains what and I feel that Tui is on the verve of causing serious harm to someone or will be liable to a lawsuit, especially in this day and age where allergies are more apparent. You seem very under staffed and the waiters and waitresses' are rushed off their feet, the chefs at breakfast live station seem under pressure and don't have the capacity to top up the food as well as deal with customer orders. Also the chefs / food expert should be on hand to explain what the foods are for any customer queries. One of Sardinia's traditional dishes is Suckling Pig (Maialino da latte) the receptionist can advise you where to find this at a local place in Budoni town. The TUI representative Francesca is very unhelpful, non-attentive, ignorant. She was not forth coming and there was no welcome meeting offered it was just a notice on the wall. The TUI app suggests a shuttle bus service that runs between the town and hotel however we discovered that this service will not start until peak season! Why is this advertised if its not running?! TUI are aware of this as there is a car hire place inside the hotel that is expensive compared to hiring from the airport. Please speak to the receptionist Morena she is very helpful and is happy to offer suggestions or cheaper alternatives to TUI for activities or places to eat. If you are coming to Sardina the best thing to do is hire a car from the airport as there is limited taxi service and its very expensive. There nearest bus stop is 45 mins walk away. My wife, 8-year-old daughter and I had a great week in beautiful Sardinia staying at MClub Budoni. Our superior, quadruple room had a king size bed and a sofa bed for one, which was fine for the 3 of us, but I think would have been too small for a family of 4. The room was clean (and cleaned every day) and functional and we had a lovely, little verandah with a table and a couple of chairs. It also had good air conditioning. The main light and one of the bedside lamps were not working, which we reported to Reception on arrival and each morning and afternoon for the next couple of days. Every time we were told that they would be fixed within a few hours, but unfortunately, they weren’t. We asked to speak to the Manager and David and his assistant manager came out and were extremely apologetic. They offered to change our room as well as have a drink at the bar. The electrician came the next day and fixed the lights, so all was good. The resort is at Agrustos, which is around 3.5km from Budoni and I believe there are no taxis based in Budoni. I assume that if you order a taxi from the resort, the cab would charge from their base to ClubM and then to the destination, hence why it is so expensive. Unless you are going to stay on the resort the whole time and have your meals there as well, then I suggest renting a car. You can rent at the resort, but it was significantly cheaper for us to do so from the airport. The weather was beautiful (35C+ each day) and there is a small beach at the end of the resort. ClubM guests have free access to sun loungers (front row is payable) as well as kayaks and paddle boards. The pool is lovely and there is also a splash park for the small kids. We went full board and the food was fine. Something to potentially bear in mind is that the evening meal was served from 8pm, which was quite late for our daughter, who is used to eating around 6.30pm. The resort caters mainly to Italian and French guests and understandably the entertainment is provided in those languages. In the week that we went, there was only one other British family and I think it’s fair to say our understanding of French / Italian was limited. However, the staff and other guest made us feel most welcome and where possible translated for us. Therefore, we were able to participate in the daily evening entertainment (Kids mini disco, Quiz, Karaoke etc), which we really enjoyed. Our daughter didn’t attend the kids club as she wanted to spend as much time as possible in the pool or at the table football. We also hired a car and visited San Teodoro, Sassari, Algerho and Golfo Aranci, from where we went on an excellent snorkelling and dolphin-viewing boat trip. The “Animation” Staff were really friendly and helpful and a special thanks to Jack, Claudio and Guilia, who were excellent and kept us entertained and informed.

We had a very pleasant holiday at MCLUB Budoni. We loved our room, very well equipped with air conditioning, comfy bed and one extra sofa, perfect if you have a kid! The resort is just in front of a beach with close distance from the rooms but also a swimming pool, if you prefer to be closer to the resort’s activities. My partner is French and had a chance to take part in the many diverse sports activities with very professional animation in place & in different languages! The staff was amazing, both at the reception but also as part of the animation and we were very happy to find a warm atmosphere and very helpful people, always attentive to clients’ needs and questions. Among the activities we loved more AQUA GYM AND PÉTANQUE! We missed a cooking activity but we promised ourselves to have it next year! If interested, the resort provides also some beautiful excursions across the North of Sardinia or if more independent, it is very easy to rent a car inside the resort, with a very proactive and professional team always present and helpful. Cherry on the cake- an amazing massage by a lovely beautician who helped a very uneasy pain on my neck! We will definitely come back next year!

We came here for a special family trip away. We booked a family superior room for a 16 yr old and 4 yr old, husband and myself. The room was small, definitely not enough space for 4 people. there was a sofa bed for one teenager and my child had the small pull-out bed. There was no coffee table or lounge area and for the price we paid we were disappointed. It did have a large wardrobe, chest of drawers which were of a substantial size thankfully but you couldn't swing a cat in the room. pictures to follow. My parents in the room next door had the same sized room even though they paid for a standard double. Every day our air conditioning stopped working so we reported it and were told "it's ok, it's ok. We waited days for maintenance guy to come to take a look. He tried but nothing was resolved. I spoke to the team about upgrading to fully inclusive as the hotel is remote the transport is not great and when it is 37 degrees you can't drag a 4 year old to walk to find restaurants. At this point i ended up in tears as no one seemed to listen. They gave me a price of 400 euros to go from bed and breakfast to all-inclusive for the remainder of holiday then the price went to 810 euros as they made a mistake but did not say so. I was livid. The manager did let us eat in the restaurant for half price that lunch which helped but after that i did not want to spend another penny. Breakfast is ok but basic - no fresh melon just oranges, kiwis, pears that are not ripe, scrambled eggs that are runny, toast , boiled eggs , fried eggs bacon. No fresh orange juice just cartons. Plenty of fresh bread, croissants, and pastries some not great. Coffee- Nescafe instant machine- Hey THOUGHT WE WERE IN ITALY BEST COFFEE IN THE WORLD? I was assured the air conditioning would be fixed. The maintenance guy came it worked. The next day we found a pizza restaurant closeby and on our way back to the room were greeted with NO ELECTRICITY AT ALL. We had to beg someone to help us as there was no one on the front desk. Eventually after complaining on the phone to jet2 we got some help. It worked so we thought. Then an hour later the air con went off unless we kept pressing reset it wouldn't come on and even then it stayed on for 2 minutes. IT WAS EXTREMENLY HOT and we spent the night putting wet towels over us to keep cool. Another trip to reception the next morning to try to sort out and they kept saying sorry we will sort! Both my husband and I said NO we need a new room this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel . Half a day later we got a new room. Thank goodness the air con worked. This hotel is aimed at French or Italians and it would be good to speak in either one of these languages or it can be a struggle to communicate. The children’s pool was green it hardly got cleaned not like the main pool. We walked past the beautiful kids area Aqualand and it was not finished!! My boy said Mummy can we go on that every time we walked past it. Why not cover it if not in use?

They seem to be making great efforts after some tough reviews. Just arrived and it’s super clean and staff are going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our first day has been fantastic. Facilities look great, beach is nice and the kids are super excited ….

We've just returned from an excellent family holiday and were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel and its facilities. Our young children loved the kids club and evening entertainment, pools, splash park and easy access to the beach. Staff were helpful and friendly- big thanks to Alessia and Linda at the kids club, and to Hamza on the front desk. We hired a car as taxis were extortionate (30 euros for a 5 minute drive to Budoni). The island is beautiful and we really did have a great time!
