I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I would call it laidback Tuscan luxury with impeccable service and food. The property is beautiful, and as another reviewer mentioned I loved how you were moved around the property for meals. You can effectively eat all day long with breakfast, lunch, snack/aperitif time and dinner. The staff works tirelessly. You see them first thing in the morning and again late at nights. The furnishings are not luxurious but rooms are spacious, closet space and bathrooms updated and vast and beds are comfortable. They have a shuttle that will take you into Sienna which is a huge perk if you don’t have a car like us. We came a day early, Michele arranged transport from Florence and were able to experience the Palio that night as it was rescheduled. It was magic! Michele was also a God send. I had a tooth get infected which was painful and scary and the hotel had a doctor there in two hours on a Saturday morning and I had my antibiotics that afternoon. Amazing!!! I also have to say the food was unbelievable. My daughter loved the Pici. They were super accommodating at dinner and would make her a plate (or really whatever she wanted). My husband is a vegetarian and again so accommodating…even the amuse bouche they provide was vegetarian. I would come back and stay a week, use this as home base in Tuscany and enjoy the relaxing countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. We brought home some of their scivolosa olive oil to remember our stay in Tuscany here in California. Grazie Mille Certosa si Maggiano!!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This hotel is absolutely stunning, nestled within the countryside of Tuscany. The entire estate is so well landscaped and laid out perfectly. You truly feel like you are at a resort. The service is amazing from front desk to bar & restaurant. Everyone speaks English and is happy to help/accommodate whatever you need. The food is some of the best I have ever had. My husband and I ate at the restaurant all 3 nights for dinner while we stayed at the hotel. We enjoyed the 5 course menu on our first night but quickly found the A La Carte restaurant to be our favorite with tons of different options. The spaghetti is the best I have ever had. A lot of the food is sourced from the farm surrounding the hotel - we saw them harvesting from their garden before dinner would start. Their estate wine and olive oil is fantastic. Pool is beautiful and surrounded with nice outdoor furniture. The pool bar is also open serving drinks and food - it was too cold to go in the pool when I arrived but my husband and I grabbed a blanket and some drinks and sat to take in the views. The bar inside serves all different cocktails and the estate's wine - which is delicious. We had drinks in the bar every night we stayed - which was also a fun way to meet other guests. The hotel has board games and books to also occupy you! Rooms were large and clean. Beautiful views from the windows. And if that wasn't enough - my husband and i rented a car from Florence to Tuscany and got a flat tire on our way back to the hotel. The staff at the front desk helped speak to international roadside assistance and the tow truck when it arrived in Italian to help translate the situation. The situation was beyond chaotic and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled. They even helped book us a private transfer back to Florence with a ~12 hour notice.

Warning - Do not pay to stay!! You are being warned! It’s an overdue honest feedback and review!! We are business people on an international holiday - but you don’t seem to care! We spent 2 days at your property - called a resort. Borgo Santam Brogio — has no doubt been the worst experience in our 7 weeks of travel in Italy. We request an immediate refund this week and no later. A negative honest review - poor and below average experience of your property and manager. 1/ New Years Eve 2023 I/ we arrived and walked up to reception. The older women “scowled” at me just for standing and waiting for my family! She did NOT greet me or us!! Disgusting service! In fact, she “hated seeing the sight of us arriving”, so she didn’t get off her bum to greet us! 2/ New Years Eve 2023 we arrived…we requested we would like dinner as it was a bit late and we had travelled. The old woman - manager ignored our request for dinner in the restaurant unless we pay only over $200 euros each! Pathetic! Terrible! …. She NEVER let us know in advance - before we arrived this was the case at all. No warning nothing about the NYE dinner scam when we asked her a day beforehand!! So we kindly asked her to accomodate us for dinner, or take away in our room of food and she ignored us. She argued with us on New Year’s Eve and was hopeless in service and making us feel sooo bad as paying people!! The manager - did not care!! We as a family had to leave the “resort” and drive at 6pm to the next town 20 minutes away … to buy bananas for dinner for New Years Eve!! She was so rude and no apologies! Get rid of her. The google reviews below are not isolated incidents! She’s been in the job 2 years too long! She was the worst person ever with no empathy or care! Zip!! No leadership skills and she should “NEVER EVER” be on the front desk serving people! 3/ Our room! Toilet didn’t work! Leaking ceiling Spiders in our room! The toilet seat - moves all over the place - broken! 4/ Upon leaving! I said to the young guy at the front desk, if we do not hear from you regarding, our “full refund of accomodation”. Still not heard back! Disgusting service. 5/ You can hear the cleaners argue in the rooms! Poor management. People are not happy! Your so called #quietluxury Is a joke!! noisy, and horrible to stay. It is not a resort It is not quiet. It is not welcoming It is dated It needs renovating It’s need a deep clean, it’s dirty. It needs new staff It needs a new attitude! We are travelling in Italy for 3 more days. If I have not had a speedy fast response of a full refund. You have been warned. Ghetti Edwardo and Your Board of Directors in Rome. My husband and I have now stayed at Hotel Garden Siena a couple of times, first earlier this year, and then during our wedding period in August 2023. We had our wedding in Florence but hosted our welcome dinner for wedding guests at Hotel Garden Siena, and had many of our guests staying there throughout our wedding period. Gianluigi and his team were absolutely phenomenal, and went above and beyond to make our stay and the stay of our guests perfect. The welcome dinner in the downstairs space was stunning, the staff were amazing and the food was so good. The views from the hotel are wonderful and the rooms make for a very comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, strong water pressure, and a lovely breakfast. There was plenty of parking and it's really easy to get into Siena from the hotel. We are so so grateful for the whole team, and want to thank them and Gianluigi for making our wedding period so special.

The front desk ladies were particularly delightful, always ready with a smile and helpful advice on local attractions. The pool attendants were attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing day by the large, inviting pool. The breakfast staff also contributed to the positive experience with their friendly demeanor and the excellent spread they provided each morning. While the breakfast is generally enjoyable, it's worth noting that a second coffee at breakfast is charged separately. Although I understand the reasoning—there is a complimentary coffee pot available to avoid overindulgence—it still felt a bit stingy for a 4-star hotel, where such small luxuries are usually included. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food, and while there is a policy requiring a minimum of two dishes per person, it didn't significantly detract from the overall dining experience, which was otherwise enjoyable. It’s also worth mentioning that Curina Resort is not the place for those seeking modern amenities or sleek, contemporary design. Its charm lies in its traditional style and historic atmosphere, making it ideal for those who appreciate an old-world feel. Overall, Curina Resort is a delightful choice for those seeking a tranquil escape with a touch of old-world charm, supported by a team of genuinely caring staff. The stunning views and serene environment make it a perfect Tuscan retreat.

I rented this apartment for 7 nights in december 2023. The location is perfect, at most 10 walking minutes from every good spot in Siena. There are two supermarkets on 3 walking minutes, so it is easy to buy food or other stuff. The apartment is very well decorated and comfortable, specially the beds. The kitchen is well equiped, and seved us very well, I only missed some basic ingredients such as salt and oil, as well as a dishwasher. I also missed a place in the shower to put stuff like soap and shampoo, but it is definitely not a big problem. Notice that, as this apartment is inside a ZTL (limited trafic zone), it is not easy to park a car in front of it, so consider using a parking place located at 700m from the apartment. I have used it, it is easy and free. These instructions, among other important ones, is well provided by the staff, so I did not have to worry about it. I highly recommend the apartment.
