Hotel Dengan Spa di Goa, India

The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel. There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.

All in all it was nice. We first got to know the place by having breakfast at the café and really enjoyed the food there, so that why we decided to book two nights at the hotel. Food is really good and the pool was nice, although it was closed one out of the two days we stayed there. The room was spacious and clean enough. The minus points were the lack of AC (there is a fan on the ceiling but no proper AC) and also the way we got almost thrown out of the room. On trip.com it says the check out is supposed to be between 10:30 and 11:30, and at 09:45 somebody from the hotel already came knocking at our door! We were just packing our last items and told them we thought we still had some time, to what he answered the check out is at 10:00… he then stayed in front of the room until we were ready to leave! That did not feel good. Also the internet was very weak in our cottage in the back garden. Two problems that are easily solvable though. The hotel could make sure to change the check out time on trip. Com and get an extra router for the rooms in the back.

Stayed at this great hotel for 3 nights after a few nights in South Goa. Made full use of the facilities - the rooftop pool is lovely and very quiet, great views and the staff are very friendly - we checked in early without a fee and check out is midday which is much better than the normal 10am/11am. Although only a few sunbeds at the pool, they were available every day when we visited in the afternoon. The gym is also one of the most well equipped hotel gyms we’ve stayed in. We didn’t try the food at the hotel, preferring to explore outside, but it looked very good. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby e.g. Fisherman’s Wharf over the road with Goan and international food. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, room spacious and very clean, cleaned daily, shower etc supplies replaced every day. Would definitely recommend this hotel - an oasis of calm within busy Panaji!

Начну с лучшего: персонаж шикарный, начиная со входа и все с кем нам довелось взаимодействовать, вежливые, улыбчивые, искреннее настроены помочь и максимально удовлетворить все ваши адекватные потребности - это просто пушка, мегареспект. Приезжали всего на ночь с семьёй, это была вынужденная остановка, но к отелю это отношения не имеет, утром на завтраке нам приготовили лучший за все время омлет с молоком, потом мы спросили кашу, которой не было и какао, парнишка даже не знал что это такое, загуглил и нам все сделали! Территория красивая, дорога на пляж приятная, номера прекрасные!  Песок на пляже мелкий, скрипучий как снег - просто рай!! Ну и минусы которые требуют категорического внимания: 1. Пол в номере был ОЧЕНЬ грязным, мы приехали поздно вечером, уложили детей, приняли душ, ходили там по номеру, а утром посмотрели на свои ноги и офигели. Жена ради прикола взяла салфетку и провела по полу - лучше бы этого не видеть🤣 2. В бассейне очень чистая вода, сам бассейн с разной глубиной, очень комфортно - НО, в детской, более мелкой, зоне бассейна просто невозможно находиться, очень сильно тянет мочой из туалетов, прям воняет именно на уровне воды и метр выше. Если отплыть в противоположный конец, там все хорошо, проветривает.  3. Мы с проблемой не столкнулись, но мне кажется маловато лежаков на бассейне и пляже(8 шт), возможно пляжные лежаки больше актуальны для европейцев, тогда должно хватить.

Whether its Ashutosh from frontdesk, sudeep from housekeeping or varad from restaurant, every person in the hotel right from entrance to the restaurant made sure that the service is excellent. Such a welcome and comfortable stay that i was thinking of extending my stay. The food was lovely and the service was great. Thanks to all the Team Lemon Tree to make our stay a wonderful one.

Excellent stay.....Turtle beach resort room services are very prompt,,,,,staff is very cooperative and readily helpful.... location wise property is in peaceful area of morjim.....good rooms quality....food quality is very good especially breakfast with lot many options ........worth having stay in this property........well done ..

Невероятно красивый отель. Территория утопает в зелени - завтракаешь как в тропическом саду. А вот самые дешевые номера, конечно, потрепанные порядком… отсутствие балкона в них тоже печально - вези сушить реально негде. Также наш номер выходил окнами на дорогу и без беруш спать было тяжело, не смотря на то что улица не центральная. Про уборку надо говорить на ресепшен или самим уборщикам, иначе не уберутся и не принесут полотенца и тд… Вода не в одноразовых бутылках а в стекле и если честно она странного оттенка - покупали и пили свою). Но это основные недочеты, которые забывались сразу, когда выходили во внутренний двор.. Завтраки мне нравились - много свежих овощей, а это в Индии редкость. Омлет и яичницу готовят вкусную, есть нутелла )) У нас был также включен ужин и было здорово когда людей было мало и поэтому кормили по меню - там есть сендвичи, салаты, рыба, креветки… а потом людей стало больше и на ужин стал также шведский стол - и вот там почти все индийское, и даже макароны зачастую с кучей нарезанного чеснока(( Очень приятный менеджер. Добросовестные уборщики, официанты и охранники милейшие. В целом отель очень понравился, а вот за его пределами (( дорога к пляжу хоть и не долгая но грязная с мусором и всеми остальными прелестями Индии… возвращаться на Гоа пока желания нет ни малейшего

Clean, fantastic food! Great pool. Would reccomend the free yoga sessions and the ****** has a great deal for clients staying at the hotel!
