Marina Suites Gran Canaria

Una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el check in nos trataron fenomenal en la recepción.la habitación muy limpia, grande y con todo tipo de detalles. Estuvimos muy agusto. La piscina y la animación también estuvieron de 10. Volveremos sin ningún tipo de duda

Just arrived back after a week B&B the hotel is in a great position by the harbour and over looking the sea. The beach is a short walk away. The breakfasts are good with lots of choices self service. The pool is amazing warm and inviting. We stayed on the 9th floor room 922 overlooking the harbour, which wasn’t a problem except we didn’t get any sun on the balcony at all which was a little niggle for us. The room was excellently furnished and could have slept 4 people, the only problem we found were the mats they rucked up and were quite dangerous if not taking care. I slipped over one morning which wasn’t good. The staff in all parts of hotel were excellent very professional and friendly. We look forward to going back later in the year.

We went from cold snowy UK to sunny Marina suites and was absolutely wonderful.. The room is spacious and the cleanliness is outstanding, our maid was very friendly and made us cute patterns with our clothes on the beautiful queen size bed.. We paid for a select room above the sixth floor which for the view over the marina was worth it, we were in room 822.. The infinity pool is the best hotel pool I’ve been in, also plenty of sun beds to go around.. The pool bar was open everyday and all the staff were extremely friendly and polite especially Ivan he seemed to look after us most of the time.. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and fab food, we also went to the BBQ on a Monday evening again great value and fab food, but do need to book.. We found the hotel easy accessible, most others seem to be up hundreds of steps but marina suites is flat and 5 mins walk to some of the restaurants including a great Irish bar.. Overall a great holiday and hopefully we’ll be back.. Only 1 negative was we had to come home after 10 relaxing days in the sunshine, thanks Marina Suites you were great

Amazing hotel. So so clean, everywhere. They are constantly sweeping and cleaning the whole hotel. Yesterday we saw them take down each of the mini boats from a wall display and give them a dusting. Our room is spotless. We have a terrace room and love the extra space outside. The food is great, although we have only had breakfast and lunch here. There are loads of restaurant near by so we go out to eat each night. Definitely haven’t seen any cockroaches. No mozzies. No ants, nothing at all. This has been the holiday we really needed. Such beautiful weather! Will definitely be returning.

The self catering rooms were V good. Reception moved us slightly away from the children's playground as we do not sleep well and often have siestas. The lunches were great. Jeorges on reception was brilliant at recommending places to eat. We had fantastic authentic Canarian and fab seafood. Other Staff were V helpful on reception too. Particularly when the transfer coach forgot to collect us to take us to the airport! The piped music was a bit annoying in the adult area. An addition of a line or string of bunting would help above the pool for swimmers to do backstroke. The poolside barman was rather grumpy to serve us at 6.35 as he wanted to go home and close promptly at 7am. A waiter in the restaurant was a bit of a diva.

I stayed here for 8 nights in August after being moved from their sister hotel Marina Bayview due to an issue with my room. To begin with, everything about the hotel including the rooms, restaurant, reception, and all other communal areas were spotless and kept clean Marina Suites hosts a range of facilities meaning you have everything you need from sun beds & a lovely infinity pool as well as access to 2 jacuzzis in a more secluded, adults only area, gym, 2 restaurants & bars, a courtesy room, a kids club, and a virtual cycling centre. The location is one of the many highlights of Marina Suites, offering lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Puerto Rico harbour. The hotel is also in close proximity to local restaurants and shops including a Hiper-Dino Express and a variety of different restaurants. Upon arrival at Marina Suites we were again warmly greeted and checked-in by Jorge who also checked us in at Marina Bayview. Jorge made me feel welcome, shook us by the hand, was very friendly and professional especially when dealing with the issue with our room. Considering the other staff at the hotel, they were also very friendly and professional, I would like to make a special mention to Juan Jesus who has always been professional and kind to us since our first visit to Marina Suites in 2019! At the Atlantic Pool Bar, breakfast and lunch are offered every day, however there is no dinner served here in the evening with the exception of Mondays where they have their very own BBQ night. Throughout the day at the Atlantic Pool Bar, as you would expect there is a full bar available including sodas, wines, smoothies, and cocktails. All the food at breakfast, lunch, and on BBQ night was fresh, tasty and delicious with a large variety to choose from. The ratio of portion size to quality to price was very good. I do highly recommend both the BBQ night which has live music and breakfast which even offers complimentary cava to make your own mimosas! The breakfast set us up for the day with so much on offer including made to order omelettes, eggs, breakfast meats such as bacon and sausages, beans, a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, series and continental breakfast items (cold cheeses and meats). The chefs here are very talented and certainly know how to cook great tasting food! The bbq night and lunch offered during the day is very good value for money, and considering what you pay to stay in this hotel, you get quality accommodation with lovely views. The rooms were very big, spacious, modern and stylish, with a kitchenette, microwave and mini fridge, a TV, a massive balcony with a 4 seater table and 2 additional colourful seats. Both the beds in the room and sun beds by the pool were comfortable, and I slept perfectly every night. It should be noted however that the air conditioning system is really not the best, at many times during my stay, the effects could not be felt, even when the balcony door was locked.
