Ulasan Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites

A group of us stayed here for a couple of nights. The location is really good, especially when you're having a meeting or convention nearby. The building and the rooms are all quite dated, but at least the rooms were acceptably clean. Bed was also alright. The building felt like a really old dormitory. However, something that happened kind of put us off. We checked in and were taking a nap as we were tired. All of a sudden someone opened the door and two other guests came in. We were all of course shocked and apparently the front desk double booked the same room. Went to the front desk, no apologies but just an acknowledgement. At least it was resolved pretty quickly.

Love the heritage of this building, the way that it has been kept. Rooms are okay, may need to think of updating. Charging $1 for the coffee pods? Think that is crazy haha. Also, the chlorine for the pool is so strong.

We had nice days at the hotel, the staff was great and helpful! Specially if you are staying more days the facilities are perfect (kitchen with dishwasher, laundry machine and all you need specially if you have small kids). Our room was very spacious with separate bedroom, living room and restroom. The swimming pool opens until late so is very nice to relax after a long tourism day.

concierge guy (indian) was just scrolling in his phone and would not even assist nor answer basic questions, everything is pointed at the front desk people the apartment is spacious, and clean, has a charming character being a very old building. the airconditioning unit of the apartment is bot working. so its hot. reported this to front desk for action but nothing happened. the range hood in the kitchen is not working as well.

Washroom was not properly cleaned when I checked in but other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

Perfect for couples, families, and friends! The Room was clean. We stayed in a studio room. The room has its own kitchen to cook, cookware, dishwasher, sink, utensils for eating. They also provided Dishwashing soap, liquid, and sponge. The bathroom has its own laundry machine and dryer. Perfect! 😘

It’s nice comfortable bed and clean sheets. The place is quite old though (used to be a wool factory in past life) and bathroom has mold in the corners but otherwise decently clean. Needs a bit of upgrade. Rooms are very large and has all apartment amenities like dishwasher and dishes, oven, washing machine, iron and dryer. Decent stay for work not too far from city. Cafes available one block away but not a lot of options. Plenty of options on food delivery from city though through the major apps. I’d stay again.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Oaks. The room was well equipped from kitchen utensils to laundry detergents. I appreciate the neutral decor and spacious interiors. Connection of the TV was off for most of my stay. Shabaam at the front desk was really helpful. Eventually it was fixed, but it could be a problem with the channel provider. I will definitely consider staying at Oaks again if I were to visit Sydney.

Very convenient for the price you paid. Hotel is fine with fully facilitated.

Located next to Darling Harbour made it convenient to get to my conference location. The room was spacious and bedroom was fine. There is a laundry machine and dryer. The place has a rustic feel. Everything worked well. Only downside is the Wi-Fi which has poor coverage in the living room. Best Wi-Fi strength was near the door!!
