The room is very cozy and nice . Its pretty clean. You have all the necessary amenities. The view to the seaside is also nice . The staff is not very foreign oriented. I felt like im a problem coz i speak only english.

We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!

Hotel located directly at the beach, even though it’s not the most beautiful of beaches, but that’s not their fault. Very good spa area with hot bath. Breakfast room was a little crowded and noisy, and they had cold water only upon request (and then just one glass).

The location is perfect. If I come to Qinhuangdao in the future, I will stay here again.

Great location, right in front of the beach. Wonderful view from the lounge. Good facilities. Staff was very kind and friendly. However, their English skills are not very good. Food ordering was taken wrong several times.

The Shangri-La hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a prime spot next to the beach. There is a great buzz and range of facilities at the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, however, there were a few frustrating things. I arrived after the check-in time but my room was not yet ready. To compensate for this, I was taken to the executive lounge and my request for a late check out was accepted. At breakfast the next morning, many of the coffee machines had run out of milk and it took a little while for the milk to be topped up.

It was my husband birthday and booked Shangri-la, It was very clean and have a stunning view. The room has a nice smell. The reception was very cheerful, and they all could speak English. I requested a birthday theme for my husband's birthday and they designed the room with some towel, also send a free cake and red wine. ( I have to mention, Thank you dears) The breakfast was very delicious. We also tried the Buffet dinner one night, it was very delicious with both choices Chinese and Western. The swimming pool was clean.

5 stars location, 1 star service, 1 star amenities Feedback that chair has sharp edges and cuts my toes. Just simply sent me few pieces of hansaplast and wrapped the chair's legs. Mentioned to front desk, need to check for all rooms' chairs. However check in again 1 week later in the other room, chair was having the same sharp edges. Hotel patrons safety is not prioritized. Went to sauna room, room couldn't be heated. Steam room is down too. Gym weighing machine was out for repaired for weeks and not back. In room iron board is like those very low cost board, it wasnt like a ironing board that a 5 star hotel will provide. In room bottle water is one of the cheapest in the market, not mineral water and just purified water. Front desk service can be one of the worst that I encountered, even 3 stars hotels provided a better service. Car park auto system was horrible too. 50% of the time couldn't exit. Either gotta go back to front desk seek help or pay for parking fee. From above several points, i really couldn't be justified that this is a 4 or 5 stars hotel.
