This place is just fantastic if what you are looking for is a quiet place in nature by a river. The tents are very comfortable, some are brand new others a little tired but wonderfully located. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful as we had improvised our weekend there last minute. Of course we were off season with very few others guests, so can’t tell what it looks like when fully booked but I’m confident the spirit of the place stays the same. The food was excellent and the chef himself was there to make sure everyone was happy.

Booked via the internet / email with very friendly staff - the manager I had been communicating with came to say hello when we arrived which was a nice touch. Two connecting grand suites with a roof terrace were very impressive - the room assistant and various other staff made a huge effort to welcome us. Pool is nice, restaurant a la carte was good with large portions and there were large numbers of monkeys to see at breakfast by the river, which kept us all entertained. It is apparently a favourite hotel for visiting cricket teams - including Australia U19s when we were there - and there is lots of interesting cricket memorabilia in reception.

I had a great room with a terrace, a small bungalow. The room was clean and had everything you needed, even felt like you were taking an outdoor shower. Max is a wonderful host and fulfills every wish. The organization of the safari was great. The food was delicious. His mother cooked and it was excellent. In addition, Max is an excellent singer. He played his guitar and sang for us at dinner. I just loved it. Just ask Max, he likes it. I will definitely come again. Thank you Max for this great experience and everything Ich hatte ein super Zimmer mit Terrasse, einen kleinen Bungalow. Das Zimmer war sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht, sogar das Gefühl, man duscht im freien. Max ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Die Organisation der Safari war super. Das Essen war super lecker. Seine Mutter hat gekocht und das ausgezeichnet. Dazu ist Max ein ausgezeichneter Sänger. Er hat uns zum Abendessen auf seiner Gitarre etwas vorgespielt und gesungen. Ich war einfach nur begeistert. Max einfach fragen, er macht das gern. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
