Hotel 4 bintang Ravenna yang Popular

September 2023 Today is September 9, 2023. I booked two rooms months ago. I took the train down from Venice to Ravenna to get on cruise ship tomorrow. I had the paperwork for two rooms saying confirmed. One king and one Presidential Suite. They only had me down for one room. Why? I don’t know. I literally called a few times before the trip and sent an email. They say they felt it was only in regard to the one room. They wouldn’t do anything for me even though I had all the proof of two rooms booked. They said they were all booked. Even though it wasn’t my fault and I came from another country all the way here to have no room. I asked if I could stay in the other room I booked and they said no cause we already had 4 people in there. So they try calling another hotel. They find a room that is way more expensive than the one I booked. My husband found a room across town at another hotel. Get this they call me a taxi and don’t even offer to pay for it. We have to pay for it. Also we arranged a shuttle to pick us up tomorrow morning there and take us to the cruise. So we will have to pay for another taxi back to this hotel. This is the worse service and lack of compassion I have ever had dealing with any hotel. They were not professional at all. I would give a lower score if I could. Maybe others have been treated well here but we were treated extremely bad. Where were we suppose to go if we hadn’t found another room at a different place? UPDATE The next day when I went back Antonio gave me 20% of my sons room which did help but being worried about possibly not having a place to sleep was not good.

This modern hotel is in a back street very near San Vitale and convenient to all the other locations to visit in the city. The staff are excellent, help and friendly - I'd managed to lose my suitcase keys en route but they soon solved the problem! Room not so great - there was nowhere at all to hang clothes apart from two coat hooks by the door. Also there was no mirror in the bedroom, just one in the (rather cramped) bathroom. The aircon also leaked water on occasion. The bed was comfortable, although too low for my taste. Good breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. All-in-all a good place to stay though not cheap.

Good: Location and the front office manager Giovanna. Ravenna, of cause! Ravenna is charming and full of treasures. Bad: All the rest. The rooms have been screaming for renovation for years. I got a choice between: - a room in front of the laundry/technical zone - a room near the elevator - a room with the vue on some technical installations. All of them noisy, each in it's own unique way. You are also perfectly informed of your neighbours visits to the bathroom. Soundproofing is inexistent. The female receptionist would be perfect as jail gate-keeper, not in contact with clients in a 4* hotel. A HUGE THANK YOU to Giovanna who knows the job and tried to do as best as she could with the bad material she had. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism and the raspberry cocktail.

· The hotel was located in the center of the old city and gave easy access to all we wanted to see. From a historical perspective, the hotel is situated directly opposite to all things pertaining to Dante; his house, tomb and museum. Of course there is so much more to been seen around the hotel too. We booked a Deluxe Suite which was essentially a 2 bedroomed apartment with kitchenette and dining area. It was all spotlessly clean and a great sense of generosity by means of the utensils, equipment provided. It was obviously well thought out to ensure that 'at home ' feeling which we felt immediately. The full sized fridge was generously stocked with the essentials of milk, fruit juice, butter and bottled water to get us started. The complementary breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, cakes, biscuits crackers and dried fruit and some fresh fruit too. The manager even bought us a special Ravenna cake for us. The bedrooms were large with high ceilings and the entire apartment had a feeling of the romantic age of the city. However, as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian area with a few restaurants that had tables onto the street below us, it was a little noisy at night. It didn't bother us. In fact I enjoyed going to sleep listing to the clang of wine glasses and the sound of the melodic Italian language as people enjoyed the freedom to share once again. Being non meat eaters, we found excellent vegetarian and vegan restaurants within walking distance which was a real bonus for us. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reunion Hotel and have already planned our return visit.

Words alone cannot describe the dissatisfaction here. We arrived last night after a long days journey. Four star???? Lovely young lady at reception. That’s it for compliments. Unfortunately, we have prearranged transportation tomorrow and must stay another evening. The hallway carpets are filthy, the outside chairs are cracked, the shower has mold. One room looks as if someone tried to break in. We went thru the stairway rather than the lift and the door remained opened. Anyone could have entered. I went back up to close it. Just found a disgusting creature! See photos!

This hotel is wonderful. Beautiful Palazzo in a great location. Spotless room and a terrific breakfast. However, the highlight is the staff. They are some of the kindest and most helpful staff we have ever encountered. We had a car issue and two Hotel employees, Emmanuel and Andrea spent two hours assisting us to ensure that the car was attended to by EuropCar. We would have been very hard pressed to get the agency to respond positively without them. There was nothing they wouldn't do to make us whole even if it wasn't any issue with the hotel. Also Matteo at the front desk was a wonderful advisor on restaurants. If we ever return to Ravenna, Hotel Palazzo Bezzi will be our hotel. Highly recommended
