The décor theme is simple yet highly functional. This time, I stayed in a corner room, and although it was 32 sq.m., it didn’t feel small. I really liked the mood and tone of the room, with its light colors making it feel airy and spacious. The front desk staff was efficient during check-in, and they clearly communicated the benefits based on my membership tier, which was well done and in line with the chain’s standards. In the room, there was a hand towel folded into a rabbit shape, along with a welcome card from the Hotel Manager. However, there was no welcome set provided, which I assume is in line with the hotel’s level as a Focused Service property. The amenities are available upon request. One of the strengths of this hotel is its location, being right next to Central Rayong. In fact, it’s just a 10-step walk away. The TV is modern, allowing for Netflix streaming, and the internet speed is excellent. The gym equipment is well-maintained and complete, with a distant view of the sea. The rooftop bar serves well-crafted drinks, and the taste was spot on. They also offer a Happy Hour. The pool is not very large, but it’s perfect for a relaxing dip with a nice view. I would rate this stay 8.5/10. The only minor issue was the absence of a shaving kit, which other Hilton Garden Inn properties do provide. For travelers on longer stays or business trips, this might be something they need. Nevertheless, this is a lovely new hotel worth staying at, and I would certainly return.

The hotel is located in the centre of Rayong right beside the night market and other city facilities. The room has a kettle, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery for enjoying your own food or from the local market to eat comfortably in the large spacious room - everything you could need. The hotel offers a shuttle to the beach, bus station and the shopping mall - central. The breakfast was a large selection catering, for westerner's and Japanese. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They provided towels for the pool area which is next to the gym. This may not be a five start hotel but it has to be one of the most homely hotels I have ever stayed in. Some five start hotels do not take the care for their guests as this one does.

แวะมาระยอง ช่วงต้นเดือนก่อน กำลังหาโรงแรมนอน ได้ยินมาว่าเป้นโรงแรมเปิดใหม่ เลยได้มีโอกาสไป ประทับใจตั้งแต่ การจอดรถ ได้รับการบริการ ที่ดีตั้งแต่ที่จอดรถ มีพนักงานจัดการเรื่องกระเป๋าให้ พอไปสอบถามห้องพัก มีพนักงานต้อนรับอยู่ตลอด คุณปอน ให้คำแนะนำดีมาก ผมไม่ค่อยมีความรู้เรื่องร้านอาหารในระยอง คุณปอน แนะนำดีมากครับ ที่ครัวลุงระแนะนำเลย พร้อมกันนั้น คุณบูม ได้พาไปห้องพักพร้อมแนะนำโรงแรมตลอดทาง พร้อมทั้งเชิญชวนสมัครสมาชิก และรับเครื่องดื่ม ที่บาร์ สระว่ายน้ำตอนกลางคืน มืดไปนิดหน่อย อาหารเช้า มีลายอาหาร ค่อนข้างเยอะ พนักงานดูคล่องแคล่วดี การบริการค่อนข้างประทับใจที่ตัวพนักงาน แต่ออฟชั่นในโรงแรมค่อนข้างจำกัดโดยรวมถือว่าดี

Stayed here for one night and due to circumstance was just looking for a good value as there was no time for a resort setting this trip to Rayong. In that situation I usually stay at the Marriott but for a place to sleep and run errands within Rayong this place was great. Room was bigger than I expected, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was solid considering the limitations these days but given the space they are using assume that in ”normal” times it is probably quite grand.

位置很好，就在Saeng beach的中部，月牙沙灘就在面前，bolt去羅勇老街yomjinda road
約96株，打摩託車48株。房間很新，設施也很好，三樓有健身房和游泳池，這個配置還是很好的！離711有點遠，兩邊都有，走路都要12分鐘。酒店早餐還蠻不錯的。份量不大，很精緻！唯一不好的是酒店的隔音真的不行，隔壁的聲音一清二楚，陽枱面海，樓下就是海邊馬路，摩託車呼嘯而過，聲音很響！反面的河景房可能會好一些。

Kantary Bay Hotel and Serviced Apartments Rayong 是我這10天選擇的飯店，靠近海灣坐擁美景👍，是適合放空放鬆的好地點😊 當初為何要選這間飯店的原因，是我在2007年的一張照片，這海灣很特別讓我想再次探訪這海灣，但時代久遠我已不記得這是在Rayong的哪裡，看著👀Google Maps找到Rayong思索如何找尋，就看到那灣啊灣的圖，一拉大就看到這間飯店，就直接儲存，訂了機票選了這飯店🏨。 一開始在網路上看到這飯店的評價是東西老舊或服務人員的態度不好之類的，但評價這東西總有正反兩面，我這人是自己體會過才會去感受網路的評價，畢竟每個人的感受不同。 我列出我個人感受的點供參： 1. 設備有年代，但是能用心感受到維護與清潔👍。 2. 早餐多樣化，日式、美式、中式，咖啡是我喜歡的味道。 3. 飯店工作人員有禮貌笑容滿面😊。 4. 語言雖然不通但是很認真地回應我😅。 5. 有兩個游泳池，可以很悠閒地度過享受陽光的下午🏊。 6. 在網路上有看到交通不便，我覺得這飯店主要是能讓人放鬆與放空的，而且現在有Grab超方便的👍👍。 7. 飯店旁有2間711讓人買不完🤭。 8. 飯店左右兩邊也都有超棒的餐廳，沿海也有特色小吃🤤。 9. 走出飯店就是海邊，療癒藍😌。 10. 我下次還要來😀。 🟪這飯店能維持並沒有因為疫情而被打敗，是我個人覺得很用心，也就是沒有因為疫情而倒閉，且看到飯店方用心在整理與維護，這樣的態度很好。 🟩飯店還有附設看海的咖啡聽Café Kantary讓人可以放輕鬆地度過。 🟧如果不想住的太觀光吵雜而又想擁有美景，離Pattaya又近，真的適合遠離吵鬧的城市，Kantary Bay Hotel and Serviced Apartments Rayong這間飯店我個人真的喜歡。

The hotel is located near the bypass route, as well as Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, which is easily accessible from Pattaya and Bangkok. When I arrived at the hotel front desk, the staff spent a lovely time with me even though their awareness that I had arrived on a day of heavy rain, and the staff was attentive to my trip, security staff they are good take care my car as well. Front Office Staff, she gave me the greatest room with a pool view and explained where I could share my new journey in Rayong. 100% I shall be back here.

PPengguna TetamuI rated poor the restaurant not because of the food, not because of pricing BUT because staff let some people smoke right near our table and during all the time we spent at the restaurant we were annoyed by the cigarette smell. This is an open restaurant and near the sea so the wind brought right in our face the cigarette. We told the staff and for them they don’t see any problem with that. So seems smokers (who by the way was not even dining at the restaurant but just staying at the beach) are more valuable than anyone else at this place!! How this resort can authorize to let people smoke everywhere they want at the beach and right next to the restaurant? I really thought Samet Resort group was having proper service standards but actually they have not. It will be so easy to implement smoking zone near the road and a bit few steps away from the restaurant. Not sure if the management will see my feedback. Other things the restaurant was busy and not enough staff.. everyone was waiting long time for the food!! This was our first meal upon arrival at the resort and didn’t give good impression at all. Food was good, nice restaurant atmosphere next to the sea.

PPengguna TetamuI’ll start by saying that the hotel’s surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. The beach is one of the best on the island - clean and tranquil. It made spending time in the hotel a delight. And overall, we had a really memorable time - which was enhanced by exploring the island on motorbikes every day (which you can rent from the hotel). However, there are a number of areas where there could be significant scope for improvement and which, if improved, could make this a much better class of hotel. These are primarily: 1. There was repeated miscommunication with the hotel staff, who generally-speaking (with the exception of one or two receptionists) have poor English. It would of course be unreasonable to expect everyone to speak perfect English; that’s not my criticism here. But what I will say is that a lack of common language between us and the hotel staff made asking questions, even simple ones, about our trip difficult and led to mistakes. 2. The food is really poor at the hotel restaurant, Breeze. We had expensive Thai food which was inedible in part and the only bad meal which we have had during our two week stay in Thailand. Until improved, I’d suggest going to other restaurants on the island - Banana Bar is a real highlight. 3. The rooms which we were first shown to were unacceptably far away from the main hotel and up a number of flights of steps. We asked to change and were moved with no questions asked, which was a great result for us. We thought the hotel dealt with that issue brilliantly. We wondered how often they had encountered this issue having shown people to those rooms. And to be honest, those rooms shouldn’t really be hired out at all unless it is for a serious discount and it’s made clear to guests when they book. 4. Parts of the hotel feel unloved and a bit neglected to be honest - I don’t want to be too harsh here as it may be that the hotelier hasn’t been able to put as much money back into the resort following COVID and it’s aftermath. In particular, the room showers could do with an update. And generally there is an outdated feel to the hotel which could do with being modernised - the furniture in the common parts, the shower by the pool, etc. For the reasons above and taking into account the price paid for our stay, I would give Ao Prao three stars, but my lasting feeling is that with a bit more money, love and attention to detail, it could become a four or five star in the future.

Bofore leaving Thailand I decided to spend some time on a beautiful beach Ao Cho of Samet Island. That's the most beautiful beach here with clear cristal waters and white sand. The resort itself is very old, Iean The Grand View Ao Cho redort which manages Tropical Samet Resort. And Tropical Samet Resort is a newly built part of it. The construction looks very good, but only looks. It is very bad done in details. I stay on a standard room on th second floor. Good bed, no furniture at all. No table, no any chair. So you will not be able to work eith your notebook for some time if you need. The shower is only the wall shower. So when you walk in from the beach you can not only just wash your legs off the sand, you gonna need take your all body shower. It's very inconvenient. For ladies especially, there is only one mirror in the bath room and there is no light to see your face appropriately. So, forget about making a good makeup. There's no safebox in the room. Pay attention to it! You will have to take all your valuables and belongins with you always! No any special place to allicate your luggage. No shelves. The good thing is that you sleep in a new bed. And the room is fresh. But it will be downgraded quickly because the quality of works is so poor. The locker in the door is electronic but it is shacking like it is broken. The restaurant of the resort is very expensive. And the service is very slow and bad. Today I had a dinner. There were only two tables occupied. I waited for my club sandwich for 30 mins. I also ordered hot latte and tgey brought me cappuccino. Ok, I decided to check and ordered latte again. Same. They brought me cappuccino, bitter cappuccino again. Although the restaurant has wide variety of coffee in the menu. And it's definitely supposed to understand the difference between latte and cappuccino. I waited for another cup of coffee 10 mins)) What could be easier to push the button in the coffee machine)) Also how come to mix ketchup and maionese? The chef, where are you from? Are you from far resorted village from the mountains in Thailand? For those travellers who wish to stay here and enjoy the best beach, the hotel is still in shape noting the fact that even bad bad resorts on the island are all full because of high demand now, I advise you to eat in a small cafe like a rasta-bar on the beach. The service is very quick, very delicious, even soups and 2 times cheaper then in the hotel restaurant. Have a safe and enjoyable travel.

PPengguna TetamuGreat location on main beach and decent beach bar area (live band WAY too loud). Room was a decent price but a bit weird: downstairs bathroom, bedroom upstairs above it. But the staff are not friendly at all, the bins & ashtrays around the resort are not emptied, the bread from the bakery is not fresh and the maids leave the corridors in a real mess during the day. But to be fair, service across the whole of Samed it pretty bad - and I’ve been going there for 35 years! But this is a place we won’t bother with a second time.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel has mini villa type rooms, each with a good-sized balcony to enjoy the beautiful foliage planted all around. The rooms are large, airy, sp****, and super clean. Bathroom size is good too, and all amenities are provided. The bed is one of the softest ones I've ever slept on. Absolutely loved it! Check-in and check-out was smooth, the staff is warm. There's a shortcut which takes you to the main Sai Kaew Beach in a minute's walk. It is also easily walkable (15 mins) from the main ferry pier (Nuan Thip). The hotel did not have a restaurant yet (which we knew before booking), but I did see some construction going on, so they could be adding one in the future, But there's plenty of restaurants on the beach, so no worries there. We had an immensely satisfactory and comfortable stay. Would recommend to all travelers.

PPengguna TetamuFirst, I chose Koh Samet because I asked a local Thailand friend which island has not been overdeveloped since my early days coming to Thailand in the 1990s. His response was ”head to Koh Samet”. I looked for a value hotel on one of the more southern, less developed beaches which led me to Wong Duean Bay and the Vongdeuan Resort. The pool was a big draw. With the low tide being pretty extreme, it is really nice to have the salt water pool to cool off in and swim laps. The food seemed pretty authentic to me. With mainly Thai visitors coming in on the weekends it figures the food would be good at the Vongdeuan Resort. :) The staff were wonderful and always so fun to share a story or two with. The beach area all along the bay was extremely clean with no plastic on the beach or garbage in the water. This is a big plus when going to the shore in SE Asian countries. There are several beach restaurants but none of them had loud music, at least during the weekdays when I was there. It is definitely a sleepy and peaceful place to enjoy the water at high tide as well as the white sand beach for walks.

CCPeelHotel is old but has its charm. Rooms are very basic, furniture is cheap and deteriorated. Rooms were clean enough.
Hotel is in the process of room by room renovation. We were on the third floor( no elevator), saw a second floor room that had been renovated. Better but still basic.
The crown moldings throughout and lobby furnishings show it was ‘great ’ in the day.
Breakfast was limited.
Pluses were great A/C , hot water on demand and great wifi.
The 2 hotel dogs and three cats were friendly but not intrusive. Except for the cat that tried to take over my towel on the pool lounger🤣.
It was charming enough to make me think about coming back and staying for a day or two
The pool area was lovely but the pool circulation only kept the deep end clean. Some cleaning of the tile sides would make a huge difference .When I asked about pool towels was told ‘ only two towels per room’, so no extra towels available for the pool.
We were there during mid week at the end of October. Definitely a lack of restaurants and any nightlife. The hotel is a block away from a gorgeous beach. Be prepared for a walk thru beachside pine needles and low growing plants to get to the golden sand and clear water.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a very nice accommodation , consisting of a a main open alley with rooms on each side of the hall way , there is a reception area which sell drinks and at the end of the short alleyway there is a lovely cafe which sell fruit, coffees, smoothies , juices , and croissants and various toasts topped with fruit etc and they sell a nice burger and chips also, this is on the beach with loungers and bean bags and other options if you want to stay off the sand , some of the staff are friendly and smiley and some are not. the rooms are cleaned when requested no problem just leave your key at reception, the location is ideal , 5 minute walk to 7/11 and the village , I have to say this accommodation is idyllic with its thatch roofs and minimalistic style , I loved it here and I will stay here again , the only negative I had about the place is they didn’t clean the rubbish from the beach , the beach is the reason we go here … only 1 or 2 businesses on this beach clean the rubbish regularly , all the others do not clean up and it is unsightly , all the businesses on this island should all make sure it is clean all of the time .
