We loved our stay at Samed Amoris Resort & Pool Villas. We booked a villa with private pool for 3 days and that was exactly what we needed. We spend most days on the hotel area and not many people around so it felt like we had a resort for ourselves. The breakfast buffeet was great, the service personel was kind and serviceminded as well. The place is a bit far away from the island «centre» and other activities so I would recommend renting a motorcycle to get around. The hotel does have a restaurant, but we didn’t try that out. For the pool villa I miss having a pool net, and a rake/broom to remove excess leaves and millipedes. There’s a lot of millipedes around. Other than that this is a perfect vacation resort. I would definitely come back some day.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the resort! The food was great and the majority of staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk with. The many dogs were leashed, vaccinated, and quite friendly as well which is always a bonus. We were overcharged one day for lunch without noticing, and one of the workers let us know in the morning and gave us a full refund. Without him telling us we would have never known, so major props to them for that! The only issue we had on service is there was one worker without uniform who always had quite the attitude toward my wife, friends, and I which was pretty disappointing, but everyone else was great! The beach was clean, the room was great for the price we paid, and overall we had a great stay. I highly recommend!

Hub de Leaf @ Rayong Located in the Noen Phra area of Rayong, Hub de Leaf @ Rayong offers a modern, boutique‐style stay with a quiet ambiance. The hotel features around 60 air‐conditioned rooms, each equipped with a mini-fridge, flat‐screen TV, free WiFi, and a private balcony.  Guests widely praise the cleanliness of the property and the comfort of the beds. One reviewer notes: “The room is clean with no musty smell. The staff is friendly. It’s worth the money paid.”  Others comment that the service is “very nice, kind, and incredibly helpful.”  That said, a few trade-offs are worth noting: the location is somewhat off the main road and public transport options are limited, meaning it’s more convenient if you have your own vehicle.  The breakfast is considered basic but serviceable.  In summary, Hub de Leaf @ Rayong is a good-value choice for those seeking clean, comfortable accommodation slightly away from the hustle of central Rayong—especially if you’re travelling by car and looking for a quiet base.

I had an amazing stay at Kira Baya on Koh Samet and would definitely recommend it overall. Ace and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, with good variety and quality. We also really appreciated having access to the kayak, which added a fun touch to the experience. One thing to note, as others have mentioned, is that the beach in front of the property is quite stoney and could benefit from some cleaning. Additionally, the hotel is located at the far end of the island, so getting around requires some planning. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not included in the stay and not directly provided by the hotel, which is something other hotels tend to handle better. That said, I was able to rent a scooter for 100 THB per hour, which gave me a great opportunity to explore the island independently. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, this was a fantastic stay with excellent service, and I would happily return

The location is convenient for me as the nightly food Bazaar is just a stone's throw away. The rooms are big and well equipped with a microwave oven & a set of dining utensils too - unheard of for a hotel room. The gym, pool, sauna are well maintained & popular with guests & locals too. Staff are very helpful with directions, etc. Truly value for money.

Good accomodation if you want to stay a couple days to swim, looking around and wake up with coffee/tea/toasters/rice/eggs. I stayed not first time, everything is fine, have big parking, swim pool is available, rooms are bigger than another hotels, tired furniture and some door lockers but a big good bed and tv/refreeze/table/aircond. Fine.

dropped in for one night - to spend the night. location - convenient, as it's on my way breakfast - not tasty, but for me it's not the most important thing rooms are clean, tidy - slept well service - friendly, attentive. considering the purpose of my visit, I can rate the hotel as ”good”. no critical comments.

Oh Taley Resort is a really great place to stay if you’re looking for calm, quiet, and relaxation. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s perfect for escaping noise and stress. The location is very nice, close to the sea, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is excellent, and the service around the resort is friendly and professional. Everything is well organized, and you can truly enjoy your time here. The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be adding a coffee machine for guests. Even a simple option selling coffee for 40–50 baht would be very convenient, especially since 7-Eleven is a bit far. This would be a great added value for guests. Overall, everything is great: location, pool, service, and peaceful vibe. I highly recommend Oh Taley Resort and would happily stay here again.

Great location on the beach. The beds are comfortable and the air con works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind, very rarely will they replace your empty toilet paper roll. I have stayed here twice and had to go to the lobby to ask for a new roll for a total of three times. I suggest stopping by the lobby when you come back from the beach (after housekeeping has been done), so you don't go to your room and find out there's no toilet paper the hard way. They will also ”usually ” replace your towels, but this time they just took them without giving a fresh ones in return. While this may all be bad for some, I now know what to ask for in advance, so I wouldn't mind staying again.
