KKhant Soe NaungI recently completed a 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites Rayong City Centre and had a fantastic experience. As one of the tallest buildings in the city, the views from the room are unparalleled—you can see all the way to the coast.
The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Since it’s a ‘Suites’ property, the extra space made the stay feel much more relaxed compared to a standard hotel. The rooftop infinity pool is a major highlight, especially during sunset. Location-wise, it’s perfect; it’s attached to Passione Shopping Destination, making it very easy to find dining and shopping options. Highly recommended for both business and leisure!

PPengguna TetamuWe booked the room with the breakfast included for 2 adults because our daughter doesn’t wake up for breakfast and doesn’t really like what’s on offer for breakfast. Upon check in we were charged for her breakfast anyway even I explained she will not come for breakfast. In the morning we decided to give a go. The breakfast is nothing to be excited about. Not much choice and the quality of food is very low. Even fried eggs are over cooked to a rubbery consistency and cold. Scrambled eggs looks horrible. Coffee tastes bad (sour). There is no option to book without breakfast. The room is tired and needs a good cleaning. All the furniture is moulded. Linenswith marks on them. I really dont understand the price of 250 usd per night for this service. In the room they offer used rubber flip flops wouldn’t dare to wear it ashtray not cleaned from the previous customers - we don’t smoke

The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to make the stay relaxing. The facilities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting.
The food was another highlight — every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making dining here a real pleasure. The breakfast selection was especially impressive with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The combination of outstanding hospitality, excellent amenities, and high-quality dining made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, and I will definitely be returning in the future!

MMM888mmThis newly opened property is located in a quiet and peaceful area next to a well-known restaurant, making it a great place to relax. The staff were service-minded, friendly, and very helpful, which made the stay pleasant and welcoming. Since the property has only recently opened, there are still some areas for improvement, but this is understandable and hopefully the management will continue to enhance the overall experience over time.

SSmiley lunaStaffs was so kind and helpful. We got the third floor room. There is no elevator but a staff helped us to brought our luggages up there. Sea view from the room was ok. Inside the hotel walkway to the beach was pretty cool and nice to take some photoes.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

Guests widely praise the cleanliness of the property and the comfort of the beds. One reviewer notes: “The room is clean with no musty smell. The staff is friendly. It’s worth the money paid.”  Others comment that the service is “very nice, kind, and incredibly helpful.” 
That said, a few trade-offs are worth noting: the location is somewhat off the main road and public transport options are limited, meaning it’s more convenient if you have your own vehicle.  The breakfast is considered basic but serviceable.

PPengguna TetamuI really enjoyed the hotel because it had nobody overlooking me. It was quiet. I never put the TV on the shower worked fine every time the bed was comfortable and the swimming pool was clean. Don’t like the cold eggs in the morning. That’s the only criticism that I have

PPengguna TetamuSaikaew Villa 65 is less than a 5 minute walk from the songthiaw drop off to get to the accommodation, after the 10 minute taxi ride from Ban Phe pier. We booked 3 Superior Twin rooms for family but the rooms were definitely not 'superior'. The rooms lacked any finesse, with a broken lampshade, gaps under the doors for mozzies to get in, a broken light in the bathroom and a leaking sink pipe, dodgy fridge connection and dead batteries in the aircon remote. The room itself was clean and the service for room cleaning was good, but the surrounding area around the rooms was dilapidated, with broken down storage buildings, remnants of building works and rubbish bags and cleaning equipment on display in the walkways each day. There was a definite lack of attention to detail. It was backpacker style but not with a backpacker price tag. I booked the rooms on a balcony, with a view of the courtyard garden, but there was nowhere to sit outside the room, no chairs provided, just small tables. The location is very good, a minute or so walk away from the beach. The attached restaurant, 'Joe's', was very efficiently run and the service there was excellent (thank you to the waiting staff, who were very friendly and helpful). For 60 baht for the day, a deckchair could be rented with an umbrella right on the sea front, and the restaurant staff provided towels for the deckchairs when asked. If you plan on spending little time in your rooms, and you don't mind the outside appearance of the accommodation, then Sai Kaew 65 is a great place to base yourself for all that Sai Kaew and Koh Samed has to offer.
