Hotel berhampiran KUNSTRAUM Sigismundkapelle im Thon-Dittmer-Palais, Regensburg

We are checking out this morning and while ready to get home following being 3 weeks away, we have enjoyed our time in Regensburg (unplanned stop for two nights!) and the Hotel made our stay even more enjoyable! Helpful and friendly staff at check-in and throughout our stay. We also dined in the Hotel Restaurant last evening and it was possibly the best meal we've had on the trip! Doesn't feel like a ”hotel restaurant” and was visible that many local people were enjoying their Saturday evening there too! The room was clean, well furnished and the bed comfy! I did see some of the other properties i was blindly looking into and was blessed to have landed on this ACHAT Property. Also, super walking convenient to Old Town/Shopping/Bridge, etc...!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday night. We loved the place and their friendly atmosphere. Our room was nice and modern, with a large bathroom. The staff was friendly. The dining area was pleasant with an outdoor courtyard and tables and chairs. The breakfast was healthy and delightful, coffee excellent, and there were gluten free and vegan options for those that needed it. The hotel is situated sideways on a narrow, cobbled street in a kind of courtyard. We drove and the parking is easy -- parking garage with car entrance on a bigger street parallel to the narrow one -- and an people entrance right at the hotel door -- and we got vouchers for 10 euro parking a day (rather than 14). And yes, as people have said, there is a nightclub in the same courtyard. It was not hot out so we left the window closed -- the soundproofing from the windows was excellent and really didn't hear anything that kept us awake. And yes, the staff does leave at 8 -- we used our room key to get in and to use the elevator at night.

Well equipped hotel, 15 minutes walk from Regensburg old town. Stylish interior, clean bathroom, good variety for breakfast. Very nice idea: if we don’t need housekeeping, the hotel offers a drink since we are taking care of our environment. Only one negative experience is the parking: the hotel has a garage but actually impossible to find free lots. We had to park at the streets nearby which is a challenge.

We travel with the whole family very often. I have a silver status in Accor Hotels, Ibis Card and my wife is a member of the Accor hotel chain. I have been working in the tourism industry for several years. Before going to this hotel, we stayed for a few days at the Ibis Styles hotels in Milan, Italy, at the Ibis in Lugano, Switzerland and also a month earlier at the Ibis in Nuremberg, Germany. Unfortunately, we are faced with a terrible situation in this hotel, the solution of which is only! the dismissal of this employee, who allowed himself, one can say, fraud actions! Situation; I reserved a hotel through the Accor Hotels application and left my card details. We arrived at the hotel with the whole family and paid! for the room immediately at the reception. After the payment, I asked for an invoice for this payment as it was a business trip. To this, this employee asked me for my debit card, took it in his hands and began to rewrite my personal data somewhere! I was in shock! I asked what are you doing? To which he replied to me that ”I should write down your card details to make you an invoice”. Why, I asked? Do you already have the data of my another one debit card in the Accor Hotels application and why can't you take the card data from there? Why do you need my second debit card details for an invoice at all? This is the first time I have encountered such a situation that someone takes client debit card into their own hands and rewrites personal data from it! I demanded him to return my debit card and this employee refused to do it! He refused to return my personal card! You understand! He refused to return my personal card and threatened that he would cancel my room reservation and payment for the room if I did not give him my personal payment card details! He started saying that you don't understand how the system works in Germany and you, that is, we are wrong! When we were at the Ibis Styles Milan and Ibis Lugano Swiss for three days ago and no one took my payment card in their hands and did not try to rewrite personal data from it! I have invoices for each month from the Accor Hotels chain and I know what the process of receiving them looks like! We were shocked! Have you ever faced such a situation! Horror and shock! After that, we started shouting and already addressing other hotel employees, this hotel employee threw us a payment card and quickly left! He just runaway! Another employee gave us a card to enter our paid room and told us verbatim - Go to your room! Get away from here! That is, he just sent us away from the reception desk to our room! We were shocked! Never before in our experience have we encountered such a thing! I work in tourism and could not imagine this situation! We wanted to call the police, but this employee just disappeared! I appeal to Accor Hotels to resolve this situation and dismiss this employee! As a silver member of the Accor hotel chain and the owner of the Ibis card, I demand that this employee be pu

I cannot praise the staff in this hotel enough. They were brilliant! Bianca and Millett went above and beyond the call of duty to help me when I thought I was going to have to return from a festival about an hour away late at night. They seriously could not have done more to help than they did, . I had train times, phone numbers and taxi numbers to hand if I needed them. They took all the stress out of the situation for me. In the end there was room in the car with my friends but as a result of their help I had a worry free festival knowing exactly how I would get back to the hotel if I needed to. The hotel was clean and lovely. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Bianca and Millet!

Stayed only for 1 night. The hotel was very clean, modern with a nice and professional staff. The breakfast was good and garage parking available for 12 EUR. Beds very comfortable and rooms were very cozy. Definitely recommend.

Wir buchten 3 Übernachtungen mit Frühstück und Donauschifffahrt Weltenburg als Gesamtpaket. Zimmer super, sauber und täglich gereinigt. Dusche Vorsicht Rutschgefahr!!! Parkplatz direkt kostenfrei neben dem Hotel. Kleiner Teich neben dem Hotel (Enten füttern Verboten). Frühstück auch ok. Abends an der Bar konnte man was trinken mit Wartezeiten. Alles soweit ok. Aber dann kam ein Bus voll älterer Gäste, die sich nicht zu benehmen wussten. Sehr laute Unterhaltung beim Frühstück. Man konnte alles über den gesamten Raum verstehen was am anderen Ende posaunt wurde und darüber hinaus um mehrere Ecken bis zum Aufzug und Treppenhaus. Abends wieder sehr laut in der kleinen Bar. Da Stühle nicht reichten wurde diese aus dem Essbereich geholt und in den Eingangsbereich gestellt und dazu laute Musik. Laut bis in die Nacht bis nach 24 Uhr, auch von außen vor dem Eingang. Der Lärm war bis in den 4 Stock bei geschlossenen Fenster zu hören und über das gesamte Treppenhaus. Bei Reklamation wurde uns gesagt, diese sind Stammgäste und kommen öfters. Super!!! Auch anderen Gäste hatte dieser Lärm nicht gefallen. Anderes Problem: Zu der gebuchten Donauschifffahrt wurde uns ein falscher Anlegeplatz aufgezeichnet. Nur durch Zufall bekamen wir den richtigen heraus der in einer anderen Gegend war. Dann nächstes Problem: Das Hotel hatte vergessen uns für die Schifffahrt da anzumelden. Wir hätten nicht mitfahren dürfen. Nur weil andere Gäste sich weigerten einzusteigen auf das 80 Jahre alte Schiff, dass kein Urlauberschiff war, konnten wir mit. Uns wurde da gesagt es gab schon vermehrt Probleme da gebuchte Personen nicht angemeldet wurden. Dann kam teils Regen. In einen kleinen Raum passten nur 8 Personen von den über 40 Gästen. Andere hatten Schirme oder waren unter einer gespannten Folie oder standen ungeschützt da. Das Schiff als solches war keines für Personenschifffahrt. Wir gingen auch nur mit, weil gebucht und wir eine Anfahrt von über 185 km hatten. Meine Frau wollte sich nach langer schwerer Krankheit ein paar Tage erholen. Leider gelang dies durch die beschriebenen Unannehmlichkeiten nicht. Deshalb nicht die volle Punktezahl

We were given a nice quite room but unfortunatelly there was a strong perfume smell in the room, which my partner and I couldnt stand but the reception changed our room immediately. The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfast was perfect. The staff were friendly and had a smile all the time. We thought the transportation to the city center would be a challenge but on the contraty. There are two alternative on taking the bus to the city. Also there are supermarkt and restaurants near the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We booked our 1 night stay for Christmas 2023, a few days earlier. It took 3 times to confirm the reservation online since their webpage was crashing. We chose an option to pay upon arrival and were charged only €0.01 reservation fee. A day before our arrival we received an email stating that our card couldn't be charged for the full amount and that we have until noon to send the correct card details or we will lose our booking. After explaining that we were given and chose the option to pay upon arrival, they said it's okay then. We received 2 emails about the reception working hours on Christmas, first that it's until 17h, then until 15h. As we arrived later, we needed to self check-in and pay at the machine, which went fine. However, the room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guest (the bed was not made, the dirty towels were on the floor). The on-call staff member immediately gave us another room. The room was very small and basic but clean (the 2nd one). The bed was quite small (French bed) but comfortable. The room was extremely basic equipped, not even a cup for the tooth brushes or a trash bin in the room itself. No closet, just a few open hangers. But the worst part was that there were strange sounds during the night in the room/building, like banging in the pipes or something. We didn't have any appliances on (e.g. AC/heating, light) so we don't know what these sounds were but they were very disturbing, keeping us up the whole night. The next morning we heard another guest complaining about it as well. The breakfast was good, a variety of bread, sausages and cheese, 3 types of jams, a chocolate spread, boiled eggs, 2 types of juice, coffee and cocoa from the machine, tea, sweet pastry, yoghurt, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, although only the boiled egg was a warm option. The staff was friendly. The location is great, close to the highway, the bus stop is in front which takes you to the old town in 20 min, buses on Christmas went every 20 min until 20h (and until 22h from the city back to the hotel stop). The daily ticket for 1 person was €3. However, not much to do in the city on Christmas, even the Christmas market was closed. Overall we were satisfied for the 1 night passing by, but wouldn't book it for longer given the bad organisation with the cleaning of the rooms, the weird sounds in the building construction, as well as extremely basic rooms.

Wat wij misten, geen badjassen(voor suite?) en keukentje met 2 pitten maar geen pan of iets dergelijks en geheel geen bestek. Beetje jammer voor een ruime fijne suite. Geen extra kussens, Nederlanders slapen niet graag op deze slappe dingen. Verder waren er veel zaken op het diner menu niet te verkrijgen, jammer.
